I've always hated these titles but have learned a lot from the ones I've read and this one is no exception despite the fact that I have been gardening for nearly 50 years. I really liked the tips he offers for gardening in awkward and difficult spaces, for amending your soil, for using pots in many ways, for water gardens, for more uses for my greenhouse, etc. I made a list of things I want to try this year. I recommend it for new gardeners and well-experienced ones as well.

There is a lot of information in this book. If you are a novice it would be a great place to start. It would also work well strictly as a reference book; like if you are only interested in growing fruit in a small space, etc.
