Soon, book business and holiday preparations become overshadowed as Jorja’s focus bounces between arson and murder and family ties and alibis. Looking for answers, Jorja’s persistence and her attempts to follow the clues land her and another in a precarious situation, where she comes much too close to losing it all.

About the author

After attending college for two separate degrees, raising a family, running a business, and working in the legal field for almost 30 years as a private investigator and a legal assistant...I decided to take a brave leap and pen one of the stories that had been tumbling around in my thoughts for some time. This led to the the publication of the first novel in a P.I. mystery series. Currently, I am the author of the Jorja Matthews Mystery Series, the Road Trip Mystery Series, a YA novel, nonfiction and short stories. Given the amount of story ideas in my story notebook, I will be writing for the rest of my life...and I look forward to it!
