There's a boy at Evergreen High that has a different girlfriend every two weeks, and yet, none of them speak badly of him.
This perplexes Skyler Fox, a clever girl with a strong sense of justice. Even more so when one of her best friends spends two weeks dating him, before moving cross country - and still sings his praises. He has to be doing something to these girls; is it black magic; or maybe hypnosis? Whatever it is, Skyler knows this guy is abnormal and she's determined to get to the bottom of it. Even if it means she needs to play this twisted game of make-believe love with him.
Noah Archer is confident, impulsive, a bit of a daredevil - and he's just looking for love. The problem is, he can't seem to find it. He takes two weeks to get to know any girl that asks him out, and if in the end, he doesn't fall in love, that's it. All he wants is to find the one, whoever she is.
Noah has seen the nasty glares Skyler has been shooting his way for the past year, so imagine his surprise when she ambushes him in front of their school and asks him out. Naturally, though, he accepts.
And so begin the two weeks that will change both of their lives forever.
﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌ 10 THINGS I HATE ABOUT YOU meets THE SUN IS ALSO A STAR in this YA romance full of awkward moments, funny situations, and heart throbbing surprises.
Falling in love can be dangerous when your relationship comes with an expiration date. This was a fun little YA romance with an interesting plot!
Noah is known around school for dating a new girl every two weeks, but nobody really knows why. All they know is after one of his breakups- girls rush to be the next one to try and win his heart. Skylar wants nothing to do with Noah. She is not attracted to him and had never felt the urge to wait in line for him, but things change once he breaks the heart of one of her close friends. Now, it’s revenge time. Skylar is determined to be the next girl he dates, because she wants to discover his secrets and take him down. What she doesn’t expect is to develop an admiration toward him. Will she be the first girl to make it past the two-week limit? Or will she end up heartbroken like the rest?
I liked the premise of this. Who doesn’t love a revenge scheme turned accidental romance?
The characters were developed nicely. Noah is a quite a bit deeper than expected and isn’t really the guy you would expect him to be. I thought his reasoning for why he does what he does what interesting, even if it is childish and silly. His liking of Skylar came from a good place, as he appreciated her being the first girl that was being true to herself. Bonus points for side character development. Petition for another book dedicated to Melissa and Tara! I am rooting for Melissa to get her happy ending!
The writing is good, very easy to read and perfect for a young adult story. I think it had good pacing as well.
Thank you to Netgallety, Wattpad Webtoon Book Group and author Kat Featherly, for providing me with the eARC of “Two Weeks to Fall in Love”, in exchange for my honest review! Publication date: August 12th, 2025
Two Weeks to Fall in Love is a YA romance and honestly, I didn’t realize that when I signed up for the arc. I’ll admit, I’ve probably given YA a bit of an unfair reputation in my mind. But this book surprised me, in a good way.
Yes, it has the familiar YA themes and issues, but they were handled well, and I genuinely enjoyed the story. It felt like reliving my high school days, the rush of new love, the intensity of those feelings that just hit differently than they do in adulthood. It transported me back to my youth, and I liked that.
The writing was strong, and the banter (especially in the text messages) was a highlight. Overall, this is a well-written, heartwarming YA read that reminded me to keep an open mind about the genre. Lesson learned. Thanks to TLC tours and Wattpad books for the gifted arc.
I was so excited to read this book when I saw it was clean, but instantly let down on the second chapter. I guess I tricked myself into thinking that because it was a clean romance, it would have some Christian values to it but the two best friends were very gay for each other and I couldn’t read a book like that because it is against my values. It looked cute and I’m sad I couldn’t read it, but i’m not going to go against my beliefs <3
Thank you to netgalley for giving me this arc in exchange for an honest review
Two Weeks To Fall In Love is a refreshing, adorable, sweet and fun YA romance. I have been iffy with YA romances recently, finding them too young for me but I can assure you this one does not give off that vibe at all. This book has some serious food for thought, it was smart, emotionally mature and I truly appreciated that. Featherly truly created a fantastic YA read for young and older readers alike that really makes you think, evoke emotions and tug at your heart. There's just a lot of beautiful things to take away from this novel.
The characters truly surprised me, they were really mature, they communicated very well for young adults. I didn't feel their reactions or emotions were too much. It felt realistic, the characters were so relatable and I just fell in love with them right away. The tension between them, the angst was just perfect. I absolutely adored their relationship, how it grew and became what it did. I am just enamored with this little gem.
Overall, this is truly a fantastic debut novel by Kat, I cannot wait to see what she puts out next. For the time being do yourself a favor and pick up this adorable YA romance.
✨ ️ Thank you to @wattpadbooks & @katfeatherly for my gifted copy in exchange for an honest review.
This book was so freaking cute!!! This is a YA clean romcom
I really like the characters and the plot . You have teenagers, a little bit of drama, forced proximity, enemies to lovers and HEA.
Noah archer dates girls for two weeks and then breaks up with them. One of these girls happens to be Skyler’s BFF. She wants to fake date him to learn his secrets and expose him so no other girls get hurt by him.
Noah on the other hand is trying to see if love is real because he doesn’t believe in love . So he follows the guidance of a mysterious journal that has a two week plan to fall in love with questions that are to be asked to the person you’re dating to see if you can fall in love.
They go through this journey together, and they learn a lot from each other.
This is a clean fun romance with a little twist of drama , definitely recommend if you want a pallet cleanser or even your teenage child to read. It’s a great story beautifully written, easy to read and get through.
I want to thank wattpadbooks giving me the opportunity of having this ARC and also to the author. This book will be released August 12, 2025 available at retailers!
4⭐️ for Two Weeks to Fall in Love by Kat Featherly
What a cute little YA romcom this turned out to be! The premise sounded interesting to me - the MMC dates a girl for 2 weeks in his search for true love, and 2 weeks only, and our FMC is seeking revenge because he dated her best friend and dumped her - and it actually hooked me more than I thought.
Sure, there were some cringy parts, but I am 36 and not 17 so that could be part of it, but I ended up loving this story. The character growth was nice, the plot was good, and there were some cute moments between the MCs, as well as some more emotional ones.
Very enjoyable read overall! Thank you to Wattpad books for a copy in exchange for a review. All opinions are my own.
When I found out this book was originally a Wattpad story all I wanted to do was read the comments whenever something crazy happened 😭. I actually really liked this story more than I expected. Noah became such a lovable character, and after all the cringey parts passed, I couldn't put the book down.
Noah Archer is known for dating girls for two weeks and then breaking up with them if he doesn't fall in love and nobody seems to hate him for it. Except for Skyler Fox, of course. When her best friend, Lily, is dumped by Noah, Skyler creates a plan to date Noah for two weeks, figure out his secrets, and expose him. However, once the two start dating, Skyler realizes there is more to Noah than she realized and begins to wonder if her plan is such a good idea after all.
LOVED✦ˑ ִֶ 𓂃⊹ • This entire book, the plot, the characters, their actions, etc.. is so cringey it's enjoyable. I found myself so entertained throughout all of it. Yes, there were many moments that I had to put my kindle down or convince myself to keep reading after an embarrassing moment but it's okay! I didn't pick up this book so I could have complex characters and amazing word building, so I actually adored almost everything about it. NOT QUITE LOVED✦ˑ ִֶ 𓂃⊹ • At the start of the book, you're thrown right into the plot. That might be a good thing for some people, but it left me pretty confused. I was trying to figure out where the story was going while also getting used to the author's writing and learning who the characters were.
Overall, I definitely recommend this books if you're looking for a simple, cute romcom book that doesn't require much brain power. I had such a fun time reading this! (Also I would like to mention the fact that his last name is Archer and her's is Fox.. ouabh reference 🤭???) Thank you so much Netgalley and Wattpad WEBTOON Book Group for accepting my request for an ARC in exchange for a review!
Sometimes a YA Rom Com is exactly what I need & I quite literally binged this on Sunday in one sitting.
Noah Archer is the MMC & every 2 weeks he has a new girlfriend. If he doesn’t fall in love with her within those 2 weeks, he dumps her. Skyler Fox, our FMC is mad that he dumped her bestfriend so she sets out to figure out what game Noah is playing.
Who knew a 17yo could have so much rizz. Noah quite literally had me blushing so many times. I was completely SHOCKED when I found out this was Kat’s debut novel because it is so well written. This would make such a fantastic movie!!!!!! @netflix do yo thangggggg
This was such a cute, fun read. It had me reminiscing of my own high school days, as I was drawn into Sky and Noah’s “fake dating” (on her part) relationship. I loved how the author showed each character’s emotions through their body language - it made everything feel so natural and real. Sky’s strong personality and Noah’s mystery ended up being a great match, despite how Sky struggled to admit it. Did I guess Noah’s secret before it was revealed? Yes, but only because of the great hints laid out along the way.
A perfect mix of playful vibes and emotional depth - if that’s your kind of read, you’ll love this one!
Two Weeks to Fall in Love By Kat Featherly Publisher: Wattpad Books Publication date: August 12, 2025 Print length: 360 pages ISBN-13: 978-1998854820 Reading age: 13 - 17 years Grade level: 8 - 12
Publisher’s Blurb: For fans of contemporary, humorous, clean teen romance by Beth Reekles, Sarah Dessen, and Jenny Han comes a debut novel about uncovering secrets, challenging first impressions, and discovering that love—and people—are far more complicated than they seem.
Noah Archer dates girls for two weeks and then moves on—but none of his exes seem to mind. Skyler Fox can’t figure it out. When her best friend becomes Noah’s latest “victim,” Sky decides it’s time to expose him. Her plan? Be the next girl he dates.
Charming and confident, Noah accepts Sky’s unexpected dating proposal. Beneath his reputation, Noah is searching for something real, driven by a secret. Each short-lived relationship is his way of chasing a connection before it’s too late.
Sky sets out to expose Noah, but the closer she gets, the more she starts to question her motives… and her heart. As their two weeks unfold and Noah’s secrets begin to surface, Sky is forced to confront the one question she never expected: can she be the one to break his two-week streak?
My Thoughts: Yes, this is another YA novel about a girl with a nearly single-minded focus on a goal. Unlike many, it does not ruin her friendships. In fact, at the end, she finds that she may have more friends than she realized.
The idea of Noah having found a list of questions to ask a prospective romantic partner—and a two-week deadline for determining whether it’s love—is an interesting premise. Despite herself, Sky discovers that Noah is not just a player; he has a lot of depth, and it encourages her to think more deeply about herself and the world as well. She allows herself, sometimes against her better judgement, to get to know and like Noah for the person that he is.
In fact (slight but probably inconsequential spoiler), Sky realizes just how unkind her motives were in dating Noah, and she breaks up with him before the two-week deadline. And is miserable because of it.
However, she finally allows herself to talk to her mother, and their sometimes distant relationship is strengthened because of it. I love that this books allows relationships to deepen, not break apart.
There were some errors that I hope are fixed by publication: first Sky says she and Noah have second period together; later she says their first class together is fifth period. I also question how long the passing periods are in their school. They seem to get an awful lot done during passing time!
Possible objectionable material: Serial dating, kissing, past death of a parent. LGBTQ+ representation. Cursing, including a couple of f-words. There is an underage party where teens smoke and drink. Sky’s mother talks to her about contraception and safe sex, though not in any specific terms.
Who might like this book: If you like stories where characters think about their own lives and selves and learn to become better people, this is a good one.
Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for providing an advance reader copy in exchange for my honest opinion.
This is so high school, and I LOVE IT! The overblown outrage, hormonal angst, and the drama of big feelings are the adolescent reactions to new emotion. Two Weeks to Fall in Love by Kat Featherly is the epitome of first love. Yeah, I remember high school. Originally published on Wattpad (I bet people were eating this up when it was released a chapter at a time) and now in paperback and Kindle. What can I say? Fun, sweet, angsty goodness!
*Thank you to @Wattpadbooks @RandomHouse for sharing this title with me.
***Trigger Warnings: Loss of a parent and cancer***
Two Weeks to Fall in Love follows Skyler who wants revenge on Noah. Noah is known for breaking up with girls after two weeks of dating them. Noah did this to one of Skyler’s best friends. So now she wants to date Noah and break up with him. She wants him to see what it’s like. However, life has other plans. Skyler ends up realizing there is more to Noah than she thought. Soon she realizes she might not want to break up with him.
I LOVED THIS!! This was one of the cutest YA books I have ever read. It had 10 Things I Hate About You and John Tucker Must Die vibes. Noah and Skyler were just so cute. This is one that I did not want to put down and I’m going to be thinking about for a long time. This is a debut book and I cannot wait to read more by her.
Thank you so much, Kat Featherly and Wattpad Books for the ARC of this book. This came out today!
I don't find myself finishing romance books and even if I did I find myself questioning whether it was worth it.
But this book was just so amazing. The characters felt real and they weren't dumb just to elongate that grey period. I loved how the writer talked about emotions in the book and also how humane each of the characters were. And the relationship dynamic which the author brought about not only between main characters but also between the friends, parents was just so lovely to read. And the LGBTQ+ addition was a cherry on cake.
All in all I absolutely adored my journey of reading this book.
Noah Archer wants to fall in love. What’s his plan? Date a girl for two weeks and move to the next if the sparks aren’t there. Simple as that.
Skyler wants to destroy his plans and out him as being a player. She thinks it’s all a game to him.
She asks him out to pursue revenge, the only problem is…well…there might be a lot more to Noah than the outside eye perceives. She breaks down his walls just as he breaks down hers. There are some heavy topics sprinkled throughout and I was here for it!
Adorable YA!
Thank you to the author, publisher and NetGalley for allowing me to read this as an ARC!
This was the cutest, gut wrenching book I've read in a minute now but also so freaking refreshing. Sometimes, you need to take a nice 'palette cleanser' and I thought this lil YA romance would just be a cute, cheesy thing. What I didn't expect was to be laughing and crying with Noah and Sky.
Kat really does a great job here, having these two teenagers who don't really believe in love, figure things out in the midst of grief and also just learning themselves.
A huge thank you to Wattpad Books for the free copy! All opinions are my own.
💭 My Thoughts
This is the kind of book that is worth staying up way past your bedtime for. It was a wholesome, humorous, heartfelt story with lovable characters. Noah specifically was written really well, and with a lot more depth than you would expect for a YA archetype of his kind. The romance was super fun, especially when it came to their banter. Overall, this was a great time thats worth checking into if you enjoy YA romance.
I don’t even know where to start with this book. It was devastatingly beautiful! I am at a loss for words on how to describe it. But I will say there was a couple major parts that I couldn’t ignore, and one is the beginning. I felt it was almost too fast. Lily is such an important character in this book for her to be introduced and then just, poof, gone. I felt like I was missing key details. The other con is the ending was a little rushed too. I feel like if the beginning and ending were both just a few pages longer this book would’ve been darn close to perfection. This book is the story of Skylar going into a relationship with cruel intentions and the infamous Noah Archer and his two week dating experiment, that will ultimately lead to a rare bond. I loved how we see Noah’s experiment through Skylar’s perspective but then, when she slowly becomes more fond of him, we then unravel the true meaning. And let me just say wow! This books is deep, it’s real, it’s sad, but it is truly magnificent. I loved seeing both MC’s points of view on the questions and how they are so contrasting but comparative at the same time. Those parts were truly well done.
You can definitely tell that this was originally a Wattpad story. Did that make it bad? No. I enjoyed most of the book! There were a few words or phrases that were overly repetitive, but overall I thought the banter between Skyler and Noah was cute and there were a bunch of things that kept me interested and wanting to read more. Personally, the third act breakup is one of my least favorite tropes, especially when it is because one person thinks they don’t deserve to be with the other and are doing it for the other person’s own good. I think because of Skyler’s anxiety throughout the book this one didn’t feel as forced as they often do, but it still wasn’t what I was hoping for at the end of this book. The conversations surrounding what love meant to them and what love should be were compelling though! It made the last few sentences wrap up really nicely. Overall a pretty quick and interesting read!
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
I’ve been reading some heavy stuff lately and while this book does have mention of a few heavy themes, overall the book is pretty light hearted and wholesome.
It’s a perfect YA quick read teen romance!
The only thing I struggle with is the timeline is truly two weeks and could have been longer drawn out but I recognize, again, this is a YA teen romance and it’s supposed to be just fun, flirty, and hopeful - and it’s exactly that!
This was an interesting Young Adult read that had a plot I have not seen before! This was cute, clean, and honestly a great pallet cleanser! This book has so many great tropes with a wonderful HEA! The characters were cute and I loved seeing how they interacted throughout!
Read this a while back and forgot to update so I am winging this a bit!!
If I remember correctly!! I really enjoyed the bulk of this book, and got angry at the “conflict” at the very end. Very frustrating and clichéd and made no sense. The rest of it was great!!
This was a quick and addicting read. I was a little annoyed at the start with the premise and at the end by some “duh” moments with the main character, but it was heartfelt, progressed nicely, was believable, and the growth in our main characters made me happy. I was rooting for them!
Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for providing me with an ebook in return for an honest review. 1.5/5, rounded up to 2 Okay, please don’t hate me. I really was not a fan of this book. The characters, the plot, the “secret” reveal… none of it really landed right for me.
I found the main character, Skylar, to be extremely irritating. She is abrasive, judgmental, hostile, and unpleasant to just about everyone in her life. I don’t understand why Noah agreed to go out with her in the first place. And Noah… what a boring character. Noah is so perfect and wonderful that the girls he breaks up with are never mad with him and just appreciate the time they spent together. Universally! Across the board! This guy has not a single bad breakup. Even the nicest people I know have bad breakups. I just can’t suspend my disbelief enough to take that in stride.
I just can’t understand why every girl in school seems to jump at dating Noah even though he only dates someone for two weeks. Sure, some of them would be all over it, but this guy breaks up with someone and the next day! A girl asks him out in class. Is Noah just made of human catnip??
And then, the reveal of his big, bad secret…
I also just… wasn’t that moved by the reveal that Noah is doing this all because but how does that translate to “I’m gonna date someone for two weeks and if we don’t have a perfect, awesome relationship, I’ll dump them.”? And the “deep” relationship questions. I wish they were actually deep or insightful. They felt like bad icebreakers rather than relationship-defining questions.
I think maybe I’m just not the target audience (which, granted, I’m not a teen). But I need to connect more with the characters than I did here. This was not my cup of tea.
I may be just a teensy bit in love with Noah Archer🩵
I was giggling and kicking my feet while reading this (and while writing this review and thinking about different scenes). This book made me laugh and made me cry.
The whole concept was executed well, and it dealt with some tough topics in a great way. Despite only taking place over two weeks, it didn’t feel like insta-love. The main characters have gone to school together for a while and the question aspect of the story caused them to really get to know each other. Seeing Noah and Skyler get closer was really sweet. Also, the banter was *chef’s kiss*.
My only criticism is that it felt like the words “enigmatic” and “nape” were overused, but other than that I absolutely loved this.
Thank you to NetGalley and Wattpad Books for the ARC!
