Sex is my escape.

I’ll do anything to keep it that way. No one knows my little secret. No one knows the real identity of the woman behind the webcam.

By day, I’m Valencia—the sassy social media manager for the Colorado Yetis professional hockey team.

By night, I’m Ruby Dix—my masked alter ego.

It’s the best of both worlds, as long as my two identities don’t cross.

But those worlds collide when the grumpy veteran hockey player and the charismatic rookie grab my attention online.

…And then at work.

Still, a contract with a switch and a rope daddy is too good to pass up. The more they tie me up in bed, the tighter our lives become tangled together.

I could lose my job, but they ease the weight of my secret.

Will they choose me, too? Or will I go back to being just another faceless cam girl?

If there is one thing Mandy Muse does wonderfully it’s give you a book with a solid plot and then throw in some absolutely amazing spice. Her books teach/show proper BDSM and the chemistry between the characters is always top tier.

Mine was a perfect example of this, between Ro, Hunter and Valencia we get to watch them overcome internal and external issues while having the nastiest, hottest sex.

Two hockey players and their social media manager (who also happens to be a cam girl/sex worker) what could go wrong? 😂

I can’t even process what just happened. It’s over. And I’m not okay. Hunter, Ro, and Valencia? Oh. My. God. These three lit my kindle on fire, and I’m not even kidding. This book was everything, and I didn’t want it to end. Seriously, get ready for a one-hand read, because once you start, there’s no stopping. Two hot, testosterone fueled hockey players, and a social media manager who’s secretly a cam girl? You know it’s gonna be explosive.

Mandy, can we PLEASE get a bonus epilogue? I need more of these three in my life. A novella, something! I can’t let them go. The way the dynamics between Hunter, Ro, and Val unfolded? Absolutely perfect. Yes, they faced challenges, but watching them conquer their struggles, wow, just wow. The chemistry was off the charts, the spice? Oh my God, it was spicing in ways I didn’t know were possible. And the plot, oh boy you have to read it to truly feel all those emotions.

This book, this whole series, was exactly what we needed. I'm heartbroken that it's over, but I'm also so incredibly in love with the journey. I’ll carry these characters with me forever. Just wow. Wonderful. Truly wonderful.

Loved it

Mandy has such a way of writing that even though it's spicy, it's also a lot of heart. This is the 3rd in the series, but the first I read (I tend to jump in on a series at the Enemies to Lovers book) and it made complete sense to me.

I'm going to get my one criticism out of the way first before the rest of the review. I feel like we needed more hunter and Romeo. Like we get the delicious push/pull of them trying to stay away because they hate each other and then they give in. We know they're rooming together while on the road, but the reader doesn't get really any of that. We don't get to see their relationship evolve into friends from the enemies. We know they continue to hook up with each other through allusion, but I really would've like to experience that.

Okay, that's out of the way. This has a little bit of suspense/action in it and while I'm not sure the story needed it, we all knew it was going to happen and it needed to happen to get to where the story was going to go. However, the HOW it happened part and the who was behind it part...Oh, man...heartbreaking, but I'm also glad it happened because Ro gets his mom and brother back.

I love how Mandy also takes the time to educate her readers on things that other romance stories kind of just glaze over/include for the spice. She shows proper BDSM relationships, uses the proper words (switch), and the way she described Ro's shibari skills made it seem so beautiful.

I love this world Mandy's created and with the cameos from other characters (I'm assuming they're cameos) I'd like to go back and read Ours and Theirs.

This one had me hooked from the very first chapter. The story kept me on edge, and I never saw the twist coming. That doesn’t happen often, so big points to the author for that. The tension between Hunter and Romeo is incredible. From the start, Hunter can’t stand him, and when their frustration finally explodes into a fight, it takes a shocking turn with their first kiss. That moment changes everything—especially when they later realize they’ve both already had two unforgettable encounters with Valencia.

The push and pull between Hunter and Romeo is addictive. They try to resist, but it never works. And it’s not just them—there’s the same struggle between all three of them. Their connection is intense, filled with passion, tension, and hesitation, making every moment between them impossible to ignore. I did wish we got more time seeing Hunter and Romeo’s relationship evolve beyond just the sexual tension. They clearly have something deeper, but most of it happens off-page. Since they’re rooming together on the road, there was so much potential to explore that shift from enemies to something more.

It’s also great to see past couples from the series again. The way this community supports each other, always showing up and having each other’s backs, adds so much depth to the story. Mandy Muse balances spice and heart so well. Even with all the heat, there’s always a solid plot, and she never skimps on emotional moments. There’s also a little suspense mixed in, and while it was predictable that something would happen, the way it played out still hit hard—especially what happens with Ro’s family. That part was heartbreaking but necessary for his character.

One thing I really appreciate is how Mandy Muse represents BDSM properly. So many books just throw it in for the spice, but here it’s done right. The Shibari scenes? Wow. Absolutely stunning. The way she describes it makes it feel like an art form, not just something for the heat. The mix of two hockey players—one a grumpy veteran, the other a cocky rookie—and their social media manager, who’s also a cam girl, creates such a unique dynamic. The setup is already intense, and once things start unfolding, it’s impossible to put the book down.

What do you get when you have two hot as hell Hockey players and one hot social media manger by day and a cam girl by night? You get a scorching hot as hell story!!!

I've been loving this series 😍 Mine was no exception!!! I LOVE a MMF story!! I'm loving Mandy Muse her books just always have the right amount of smut/plot and is always a true representation of the BDSM community I should know I am part of said community so I love when it's written right. We have Hunter the seasoned hockey player he's a bit older and grumpy but he's a good player, then we get the rookie player, Romeo who's a bit of a loose cannon and winds Hunter up a tad too much and these two just can't deal with each other and fight a lot!! But is all the hate really just sexual tension between them? Valencia is a cam girl by night and a fantastic photographer and the hockey teams social media manager by day. Urgh she's 🥵 she enjoys sex and by hell a woman should!!! When an event at a local sex club gives her a taste of a threesome it leaves her begging for more!! When things start happening and the two hockey players start to say and do things......are they the two hot men she slept with at the club or could it be a coincidence?

Boy oh boy!!! What a wild ride this was!! The sex in this and the BDSM scenes were EVERYTHING!! especially the Shibari I mean 🥵🥵 all in all I loved it from start to finish!

Hockey, a Cam Girl, and a contract

This was a really good book. The only reason it didn't get 5 stars is because it wasn't as spicy as I hoped. I always expect a lot when everyone is doing each other.

This is my first book by this author but I will absolutely be reading more. The story has a lot of moving parts that bring everything together.

We have the rookie Hockey player Romeo. Then we have the seasoned Hunter. These two can not deal with each other and it makes them work terribly together. Except when a few stolen moments show the hate might really just be tension. Both men have their secrets but when they realize they share one of them everything starts to change.

Valencia is a fantastic photographer and the new social media manager for the Yeti hockey team. Except she also moonlights as Ruby a very popular cam girl. When an event at the local sex club gives her a taste of a threesome she can't help wanting more. When her wolds beging to clash how will she respond?

The sexy time in this book is really good and well written. I just really wanted more of it. Every time the tension hit a break was so absolutely amazing and so hot.

This one just moved to my number one spot in this series! I love this throuple so, so much! Each of them, as an individual, made my heart happy them all together had me in a puddle on the floor. Romeo, Hunter, and Valencia were straight-up perfection! I am in love that Romeo and Hunter are Hockey teammates, and they hate each other. Lol, it was spicy and hot. Then add Valencia, she was perfect for them and absolutely rounded them out. Her confidence and passion for who she is and the oeoole she cares about, you can not help but love her! They all work for one another, they are sweet and so kind and caring to each other. I was just captivated by this story and these characters. Honestly, this book is a great addition. To this series! I LOVED this book (and have loved the previous ones) and this might be my favorite of the three so far. FMC Valencia and MMC Hunter and Romeo meet because they are part of the hockey team that previous MC's own. After ALOT of hot moments they all finally get together. Valencia is a cam girl when she's not the social media director for the team. Hunter (a seasoned player) and Romeo (in his rookie season) have alot of tense moments together that made me want to yell at them in all the best ways! They follow Valencia's cam girl persona and they by chance put 2+2 to figure out she's one and the same. I loved seeing the previous characters interact with the story and there's good story to match up with the spice. My ONLY lack of star is this book needs a good editing to correct too many small errors that added up to enough that it was pulling me from the story. I hope we get more in this series and I think we have some side characters that lead me to believe we will because I'll devour anything else that comes out!

“Always us,” I said. “A lifetime,” Valencia said. “Of pictures,” Ro finished.

I absolutely loved this book that Mandy Muse created. It was intriguing, funny, spicy, and a damn good time.

I loved the dynamics between Ro, Valencia, and Hunter. I especially loved the bi-awakening that we see Ro have. It was such a sweet, fun, and well crafted story of love, found family, and sexual positivity!

It was set at such a great pace, not too slow and not too fast. I thoroughly enjoyed everything about this book. The author did an amazing job telling these character's stories. 🥰

Thank you to Mandy Muse & the author agency for sending me this ARC in exchange for my honest opinion. I had a good time reading this one! 🫶🏻🤭✨

Valencia, Hunter, and Romeo are holding the spot as my current favorite couple.

When Valencia becomes the social media manager for the Yetis she meets her guys Hunter and Romeo, where unknown to her they're also fighting being attracted to her as much as she's fighting being attracted to them!

Hunter and Romeo are rivals even well being on the same team, Hunter wants nothing to do with the current rookie and Romeo just wants to find his place on the team. After an unexpected make out moment (and a little more 😏) they win the game the next day, so naturally they keep doing it haha.

Valencia outside of her day job is a cam girl where unknown to her Hunter and Romeo are her top gifters, when they unexpectedly find out she's the girl they have been watching they all enter a contract together!

Ugh there's no way to say more about this book without giving it all away! But it is 🥵🤌🏻 so good and highly suggest it!! @authormandymuse has done it all again

„We don’t make sense without you. We want a thousand more pictures of us together, an entire album filled with memories of our life, with this one right at the beginning.“

This was surprisingly sweet, something I never expected, but I'm really happy about it.

I liked the relationship between the three of them, but i felt it was a little rushed. Everything in their relationship happened so quickly that i really wished they had taken a little longer.

Otherwise it would have been amazon, but i still really enjoyed it and would definitely recommend it.

Although i must admit there were two scenes where Valencia annoyed me, i know her past and understand it, but that doesn't make it okay to do something like that.

To say I'm sad this series has come to an end is an understatement.

I absolutely LOVE The Possession Series. This book starts off hot and heavy with MMC Hunter and Romeo. Right off the bat the tension between these two were so hot I couldn't stand it. I love a sprinkle of enemies to lovers/bi awakening in my books. I adored Valencia as well and I loved how she didn't bullshit when it came to the guys. I don't usually care much for "hockey" romances but this wasn't too bad as far as hockey involvement into the plot. There was a few parts that I kind of wanted more of when it came to the MCs and the relationship but overall still really enjoyed this book. I also really enjoyed cameos from the other MCs in book 1 & 2.

✨ My Thoughts ✨
Mandy has done it again. I devoured this book so quickly. I seriously couldn't put it down. I absolutely loved the dynamic and banter between all of the characters. I loved the "I hate you but I can't stay away" tension between Hunter and Romeo. I loved Ruby so much. I enjoyed reading her story. The spice and the kink were so good. I loved how this story flowed. I loved how we got to see previous characters from earlier books. This book was in my highly anticipated releases for 2025 and it truly didn't disappoint. It is bittersweet that this series is over. I definitely will be going back and rereading again. I can't recommend this enough for those who want a spicy why choose romance.

Mine is book three in The Possession series. This book is recommended for 18+. As always please check TW before reading. This book is out now and is on KU!

Hockey romance will always catch my eye. I loved it so much, especially hunter and ro ,one being older and one being younger, plus Valencia was the perfect combo put together.

And Valencia other side of her was the best part the way she just herself and she didn't care the men were into each other which I will always love .it is always nice to see bisexual rep for men in the books without judgment or being seen as less than .

But I hated ro's father so much and his uncle, but mainly his father .

I loved how it built up to ro and hunter banter, interaction, and more

The spicy scenes were so damn good, especially chapter 20

Star: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Mandy Muse delivers another steamy, high-stakes romance in Mine, the third instalment of The Possession Series. This book explores sexual liberation, hidden identities, and the risks of mixing personal and professional lives, all wrapped up in a passionate ménage romance featuring a grumpy veteran, a charismatic rookie, and a woman torn between two worlds.

Valencia, the sharp and sassy social media manager for the Colorado Yetis, carefully balances her double life. By day, she’s a respected professional in the hockey world. By night, she’s Ruby Dix, a masked cam girl with a devoted following. She keeps the two sides of her world separate—until she attracts the attention of two players, one brooding and the other playful, first online and then in real life.

As the connection deepens, Valencia is presented with an offer she can’t refuse: a contract with a dominant partner and a switch, a dynamic that both excites and terrifies her. What starts as a secret escape quickly becomes something more, as desire tangles with real emotions. With her job and reputation on the line, she must decide if she’s willing to risk everything for a chance at something real—or if she’ll remain just another faceless cam girl.

Mandy Muse excels at crafting intense chemistry, and the trio’s relationship is electric, blending push-pull attraction with deep emotional stakes. The contrast between Valencia’s public persona and her private alter ego adds layers of tension, making her journey both compelling and relatable. The mix of sports romance and BDSM elements creates a fresh, exhilarating dynamic, weaving together trust, control, and vulnerability. While the heat level is undeniable, the story also delivers emotional depth, exploring self-acceptance and the fear of losing everything for love.

Hunter & Romeo could have used a bit more backstory and emotional development beyond their dominant and submissive roles, and the resolution feels slightly rushed given the high stakes. However, the journey is thoroughly gripping, and the payoff is satisfying. Mine is a sizzling, emotionally charged romance that pushes boundaries while delivering a heartfelt story of passion, identity, and the courage to be seen.

Mandy Muse has served us up a trio of secrets and sexiness with Hunter, Romeo and Valencia. Having read her previous books “Ours” and “Theirs” (which are not necessary for this book, but the characters from the previous books do make appearances). I really loved the individual stories of these three characters, and especially loved the story of them as a throuple.

Hunter is a veteran hockey player who is open about his bisexuality, but closed off about being an older, injury prone hockey player. Valencia is a social media manager by day for the hockey team and by night she is an online cam-girl with a persona named “Ruby Dix”. And Romeo is a rookie hockey player, who until meeting Hunter, had never questioned his sexuality or attraction, and is now wondering what his life could look like.

Each of these characters have a secret they are keeping within their contracted relationship. Trying to navigate within a sexual contract and protect their working relationship and positions at work complicate matters. All of that dissolves when they are together. The chemistry is palpable; especially between Hunter and Romeo. As Romeo tries to navigate his growing (and confusing) attraction to Hunter, and finally acts on it, the temperature heats up off the ice real fast. They initially do not get along and have some pent-up aggression The inevitable tension release had me cheering.

Valencia is a goddess in this story. She is a balm to soothe both of them, and she is also their biggest supporter and champion as Romeo explores his bisexuality. I love how confident she is with herself and how the she gives them permission to see the real her (because, guess what, they follow her online persona and they haven’t pieced together that it’s Valencia….or have they??).

I loved this story. It had PLENTY of heat, each character had their own plot, and there was some drama in the last part of the book that made me wanna jump in and burn the world down for them. But if burning it all down gave me the ending that the three of them find, then it would’ve all been worth it. This story has many puzzle pieces that start clicking together as you read and I had so many potential plot turns running through my head.

Two hockey players and a cam girl make one hell of a throuple

Thank you to Mandy Muse and The Author Agency for the chance to read this book early.

Romeo, Hunter and Valencia's relationship was such a great read. The fact that they both were already obsessed with her both as her online cam girl persona and in real life as their team's social media manager, but didn't know it was chef's kiss perfection. This is one of those fated crossing of paths kind of story and I'm living for it. Romeo and Hunter being teammates and Valencia also working for the team makes their relationship frowned upon. So what do they do? Have it anyway lol but of course... in secret.

We see Hunter appear first in Theirs (book 2) and we know he's in the BDSM community and also open about his sexuality. He is the veteran hockey player. Romeo is straight... or so he thought and the rookie of the team. They have so much tension between them at the beginning. Valencia is the team's social media manager by day and cam girl by night. They all have chemistry among them in pairs, so when their relationship starts with all of them and they have scenes together, they are hot. And the tension only ramps it up more. There is pining and the banter between the two mmcs is fun. There is spice and oh is it spicy. Switch Doms and a Rope Daddy, absolutely!

I love that we get to see their relationship dynamic in all of their POVs because you can really see their relationship evolve from all sides. This is a really good example of what overcoming obstacles to have your relationship succeed looks like. They go through more than just their own insecurities and having to navigate having an unconventional relationship.

While the spice is there, this is also such a heartwarming story. I also love the aspect of found family we see in some of the supporting characters, it's one of my favorite tropes. As book three of the Possession Series, this ended up being my favorite one.

Tropes include:
MMF Romance
Hockey Romance
Enemies to Lovers
BDSM
Bi-Awakening
Found Family

This is a 5 star for me. I recommend if you love a good why choose, poly romance.
I would say this has about 4 chilis out of 5.

What happens when two teammates secretly get involved with their social media manager, who also happens to secretly be a Cam girl…

HOT, HOT, HOT!
Mandy perfectly captured the relationship and growth of Ro, Hunter and Valencia! These were some of the steamiest scenes and def did NOT disappoint! But there was still plenty of sweet moments and swoon worthy moments!

I looooved Ro and Hunters dynamic. Especially watching Hunter go from getting along with everyone with the exception of Ro to them being unable to avoid their push and pull any longer. I do wish we had more of them and what happened on the road. One of the parts I think I liked the most was the way that Mandy added in little details that are true to the BDSM community and proper terms.

Hunter is the veteran player who desperately wants to win a championship. He gets along with everyone, except Ro and loves to be a switch 😏. Ro/Romeo is the teams rookie who comes from a football family. He’s Mr Sunshine and the teams heartthrob who has a special love for ropes.

Valencia used to work for another team and came to work for the Colorado Yetis as their social media manager. Her role doesn’t quite fulfill her love of being watched, so by night she switches to her other role as cam girl.

The way that both Ro and Hunter were absolutely obsessed and in love with Valencia as her cam girl alter ego and as the social media manager was perfect! At first they didn’t realize she was the same person and it was absolute perfection! Of course working for the team and being a part of the organization, their relationship is frowned upon, but that only made their secret relationship that much better 😉

Valencia is starting a social media job with a new hockey team, and settling into the atmosphere with all of the guys. None of them know that she's a cam girl on the side, that occasionally participates in private events. She had a steamy night with two men prior to joining the team, and it's been sitting on her mind for awhile about doing again. Little does she know, those two unknown men might not actually be strangers to her at all.

*****

This was such a good book. I loved the dynamics between Valencia, Hunter and Romeo individually, as well as separately. Seeing Romeo struggle with his family structure, his personal and professional successes and failures, as well as his sexuality brought so much depth and emotional maturity to the book that I was absolutely hooked. Watching Hunter and him set up a healthy BDSM relationship for Valencia, and showing what aftercare and support truly looked like was genuinely nice to see, as that often gets passed over in books that include the lifestyle.

There were some moments that were a bit confusing for me, like Valencia outside of her apartment with the reporters and how that escalated so drastically. But I understand the need for some tension and drama to be present even if it was a bit illogical. Even the characters pulling away from each other felt organic based on who we learned they were, and the emotional and partner struggles they'd all previously dealt with.

There were parts of the books where spice was favoured over the relationship development to a temporary disservice to the characters, but balance did eventually come about later on in the novel, especially as we see why they prioritized physical over emotional chemistry.

In the end it was a great novel, and I recommend not starting it late at night, because you're not going to want to put this one down!

Mine is book 3 in the Possession series by Mandy Muse and follows the story of Valencia, a hockey teams’s social media manager and 2 of the team’s hockey players, Hunter and Romeo.

Valencia not only works for the team but also does some secret cam work on the side as ‘Ruby Dix’ as well as being a member of a local sex club. What none of them realise is that both Hunter and Romeo are 2 of Ruby Dix favourite subscribers, are also members of the same club and they have all already spent a pretty hot night together.
Mandy Muse starts this book with a bang and brings you the spice right from the start in the prologue of this story, and it definitely gets hotter as the story progresses.

I love Hunter and Romeo, they definitely didn’t like each other from the start, constantly snipping and arguing with each other but I think it was pretty clear that they had a great deal of chemistry. I was so pleased when they finally acted on the building tension between them but even though we’re told they continue to hook up after that, I do wish we got to delve a bit deeper into how their relationship developed.
That being said when Val, Romeo and Hunter work out they’ve met before within the BDSM world and finally make a contract agreeing to spend time together, the dynamics between the 3 of them work brilliantly well and the pacing of the relationship develops perfectly.
I love how each of them go through a bit of a journey of self discovery as the story goes on and they soon realise that they each mean so much more to each other than the contract they’ve written, especially after the challenges they end up facing along the way.

And that ending……..absolutely perfect!!

I’ve not read the other 2 books in this series but some of the characters from them are intertwined within this story, I am very intrigued and they are now on my TBR list.

Mine by Mandy Muse is a Hot and Spicy Poly (MMF) Romance centered around two Hockey Players who can't stop fighting long enough to work well on the ice and gorgeous women who do the team's social media and is secretly a cam girl on the side that they both watch and have she is interested in.

I have loved this series and how Mandy Muse has contacted the Characters from the previous books, but each one feels like its own storyline, and you're not missing out on other people's stories. I loved this throuple so much; Romeo, Hunter, and Valencia were all very cool people, and somehow, they all worked together in this relationship and balanced one another. I love the nature of the contract of this relationship. It allowed three people who otherwise would have been very slow to burn and hesitant to drop the pretense and go for it. This allowed them all to develop feelings much faster. I think that is why things didn't feel fully fleshed out in areas, especially with Hunter and Romeo. This contact and being on the ice helped them move past things they may not otherwise have.

I think this might be a favorite part of the series, and I loved how emotional and supportive this throuple was. There were no false pretenses and immediate chemistry, and all three of them went after what they wanted. P.S. I loved that there was no real third-act break; a couple of things happened where they pushed each other away minimally for a couple days but nothing that devested the three of them to break up! Also, Romeo's Spanish dirty talk would do it for everyone! If you love a sports romance, BDSM contract, dom/sub, and queer poly relationships, this book definitely needs to be on your TBR.

Thank you to Mandy Muse for the Advanced to read and review!

How do we even rate another amazing book to finish off this series? Mandy's MMF's are amazing, and this throuple of Valencia, Hunter and Ro are perfection. Valencia has an alter ego, by the name of Ruby Dix, where she "performs" on a webcam to a legion of paying fans, and two of those fans are closer than she thinks. There is an encounter behind the illusion of a mask that leaves them all wanting more, and one questioning his sexuality. But, no less, neither of them can forget. But, this is kept a secret from what their real life entails, as there is so much to lose if word gets out.

Valencia is the social media manager for the team the grumpy/growly veteran is part of, and the young rookie who loves to hog the spotlight and attention.....and drives our veteran Hunter up the wall. But little do they know, that this masked encounter was with the three of them. Hunter and Ro spend so much time sniping at each other, that it is affecting everything about the game, but is that sexual tension I hear you ask? And when their secret lives collide, and the sexual tension between Hunter and Ro ignites......OMG over here putting my hand up to take Valencia's place. Hunter and Ro have quite distinct personalities but when it comes to Valencia, and what she has shared from her past, these two become the perfect alpha double act, and I am here for it.

I loved having cameos from our previous throuples (Daddy Vincent......*swoon) and I am sad this series is over. Mandy I love you, I love your writing, your characters and how each of them have unique and special personalities and moments that touch my soul (amongst other things). Highly HIGHLY recommend.

Loved these three!

What a great ending to this why choose series by Mandy Muse! It was so easy to fall in love with Valencia, Hunter, and Romeo. I loved watching them grow as individuals, couples, and a throuple.

Valencia is a social media manager for a professional hockey team by day and a masked cam girl by night. Unbeknownst to them, both Hunter and Romeo are her subscribers. They play for the hockey team she works for and boy do they not get along in the beginning. But hate and love are very close emotions.

This book starts pretty hot and heavy and really never lets up. There is rope play, D/s, impact play/punishments, and lots of toys. Plus several people in the lifestyle and a smex club. Mandy's descriptions are spicy and will leave you hot and bothered.

I absolutely love how Mandy has normalized all sorts of relationships in her fictional worlds. The other throuples they know (MMF and FFM) plus Hunter's moms (FF) and Ro's brother (MM) are all well accepted and I'm here for it!

This was a bi-awakening but the great thing is that he didn't spend half the book trying to deny it. The men were both surprised by their attraction to the other but that was more about how they were getting along as teammates. The way they became feral for each other...whew!

The way both men were protective over Valencia was so sweet, and maybe overly possessive at times but I loved it. She was still able to remain independent and keep some things for herself. And she was willing to try after a questionable past experience.

The epilogue was freakin' perfect! Such a happy conclusion!

Mine by Mandy Muse definitely won’t be the last book I read from her. Although I haven’t read any of the other Possession books in the series, I’ll definitely be going back to catch up.

I absolutely loved the quick-witted banter and electric tension between Hunter—the grumpy, seasonal hockey player—and Romeo, the golden retriever rookie. On and off the ice, their chemistry builds in all the best ways, slowly shifting from tension to undeniable attraction. Things really heat up when their shared muse, the cam girl Ruby, turns out to be none other than Valencia—the team’s social media manager.

As this trio explores uncharted territory together, Valencia’s past resurfaces, forcing them all to question whether their connection is just contractual… or something much deeper.

Hunter, Romeo, and Valencia were fantastic characters, each with distinct voices and perspectives that added so much to the story. One small thing that didn’t quite sit right with me was the nickname “Lenny” that Hunter gives Valencia. Unless I missed something, it just didn’t seem to suit her.

Other than that, I really enjoyed the story—especially watching Romeo’s growth as he embraces his bisexuality and stands up for his own happiness. Mandy Muse does an excellent job writing antagonists too—just like the characters, you can feel that something’s off with them right away.

And the ending? The scene at the gala was absolutely my favorite. I won’t spoil anything, even if you might see it coming!

I highly recommend Mine for anyone looking for strong character development, LGBTQ+ representation, and a story that celebrates the freedom to love without limits.

Tropes:
-MMF
-BDSM club
-cam girl
-a contract
-rope daddy
-double switch
-hockey romance
-workplace romance
-age gap
-enemies to lovers
-bi awakening

I have read a few of Mandy’s books, which are always smoking hot. This book was no exception. Not only was it hot, but this relationship's chemistry and emotional dynamic are incredible. I need to read more from this series. I loved all the side characters we met and need more of their stories.

The book starts with a bang, quite literally, in the local BDSM club. Valencia is a secret cam girl and has a threesome with two other men. All their identities are unknown to each other, but it was the hottest experience of her life. Little did she know she worked with those two men.

Hunter and Romeo do not get along. They are constantly at each other’s throats until that tension turns sexual. After hooking up, they start winning, and the superstitious hockey players decide they have to keep this up. They approach Valencia with a contract, and more hot scenes ensue.

The sexual arrangement moves to real feelings. These three together are a force to be reckoned with. I love their dynamic. They take care of and support each other. I was swooning.

This book is available on KU. I hope you love it as much as I did.

Quotes:
We don’t make sense without you. We want a thousand more pictures of us together, an entire album filled with memories of our life.

“I hate that we as people can’t just accept that love is love, no matter if it's not your vision of love.”
