Understanding that this is a Capstone Kids scholastic book before going into to it is key. My 7 year old son picked it up to read and I read it afterwords. The book just skims the surface of the tales which was a let down for someone who was expecting more. After I finished the book, the last few pages were discussion questions and writing prompts. Perfect for little kids, but a different direction than I was expecting. Pick up this book for kids to get an overview of Arabian Nights tales, but not really for adults to draw away with any new or interesting take on the tales.
A fun and quick read with my kids. If you want details and more plot, you'll probably be disappointed. However, after reading this graphic novel, my reluctant reader is now interested in reading The 1,001 Nights. That makes this graphic novel a win for me.
I like the part when it was just one proson that fight for its life.that it was oniy one proson to save there life was the one that made them to the next move and that was the proson that made it thew the big war.
This of course was a quick and entertaining read. A young beggar is invited inside a wonderful mansion. Thinking he is inside some kings palace he finds himself in fron of Sinbad the Sailor, who proceeds to tell him his tale.
