Meglio per me. 😭
The pacing of this manhwa is honestly all over the place, and at times it feels like a typical Korean melodrama taken to the extreme. I started this story feeling genuinely curious about where it would go, but that curiosity eventually turned into disappointment and frustration because of how the plot unfolded. What frustrated me the most were the characters, especially Hwajung and Haein’s mother. Both of them constantly interfere in Haein and Junyoung’s relationship, making it almost impossible for anything to progress naturally. Hwajung’s obsession with Junyoung goes as far as spreading lies, while Haein’s mother is entirely self-centered, using her daughter as a shield to protect herself and avoid responsibility. Their actions feel manipulative and exhausting to watch. I felt particularly bad for Junyoung. His entire life has been nothing but hardship. From being born as the son of a prostitute, to running away from home, losing his mother, and having his father imprisoned, it feels like tragedy follows him at every turn. While this makes his character sympathetic, it also becomes overwhelming because he’s rarely given any real relief or growth. The story itself has an interesting premise, and the emotional weight is there, but the execution falls short. The uneven pacing, frustrating character decisions, and constant interference prevent the narrative from reaching its full potential. Instead of feeling tragic in a meaningful way, the manhwa often feels unnecessarily stressful and draining.

a friend recommended me this series, but warned me it´s a Love Triangle. But I don´t agree, since the male prota has no interest in the other girl. she only tries to interfere with the couple in the most horrid ways and I wish she will have to pay for it in the future manhwa.
I was looking for a story that shows the Korean society, but there is not so much of it to find here.
I think the strong bond between the charas is wonderful and I wish them all the best!
