The Hunter's Code #9

The Hunter’s Code: Book 9

Rate this book
New enemies are ganging up on me. As if the old ones weren’t enough!

On the other hand – whatever doesn’t kill you makes you stronger! Alexander Galaxius is a name well known in the region of the Epicenter, mostly for the fact that I punish people who tick me off.

Looks like I have a foreign business trip coming up. And I’ll need to take care of my flanks. Oh yeah, and I have a wedding to put on too! Sooo much fun to be had!

I know I read this because I've read the entire series. I've done arcs for all of them. unfortunately for whatever reason this one did not have a review. makes me think I might have read it on my Kindle and for some reason the Kendall review option wasn't working. happens from time to time. but that was like five books ago so I can't really remember what happened in book 9. it's obviously good cuz I'm still reading the series. I know I sent him a list of corrections cuz I always do. but if you read book 9 and you find mistakes feel free to let magic dome publishing know. they will pull the book make the corrections and we release the book. so don't be shy. sorry I couldn't give you a better review for this book. no excuses my fault. I'm still going to give it an 8 out of 10.

I received a review copy of this book.
When the description says he's making enemies, they weren't kidding. We all know though, that's par for the course for the main character, so just enjoy the ride. Always like his solutions for getting back at his enemies, though this time, one of the girls in his life throws him a curve ball, and he's not even aware of it, even by the end of the book. I kept waiting for the consequences of that trick to fall on him, but I guess they're going to trot out that disaster in the next book. Wooo, what fun that's going to be. Add that to the reveal at the end of this book, and I can't wait to see what happens in the next one.

Xander once again very busy. Besides training, looting, recruiting and planning his wedding, he starts building up his economic power to become a force to be reckoned with.

I found the Hega plot hilarious and was glad that Shnoop could visit his special friend once again. Odin's character is getting ever more endearing.

The story ends with a cliffhanger that keeps the reader hungering for more.

mystery! intrigue!

Wow. Wow. Wow.
Just when I thought it could get any more convoluted (and interesting!) it did. Heck of a plot.
Critters: Odin is awesome!!!!!!
Another weekend on the patio down bing by the Hunter’s Code. I cannot believe how, um, uninteresting the first book was and now I cannot stop reading. Really good series. On to the next!

not bad

This book and the last one were not as good as the previous one. The plot and the action are a lot slower than in the past. The MC is doing way too much and seems unfocused just like the plot. Still enjoyable but definitely a step down.

I have only one real problem with all the books

He never gets rid of enemies. He says he's so great that they're no problem, but then he never kills them, and they need killing. And he makes more enemies but he doesn't take care of them that's the only problem

more now please!

I absolutely love this series! Everything Alex manages to get himself tangled up in. And Snoop is the absolute cutest. I find myself laughing along with all the shenanigans. Definitely give this series a read it’s not to be missed!

These books all show great promise but its never realised.

I keep reading in the hope of seeing improvement but the niggling continuity and logic issues that keep cropping up and added to keeps my rating down at a 2/5 at best and at: Can Not Recommend for purchase.

Enjoyable Read!

My only regret is how addictive the series is, and how it always ends in a cliffhanger. Great addition to the series.

Argh! the cliffhangers!

It’s not that I mind the cliffhangers and of course I’d get the next book without them because I like them so much, but I want them to be written quicker.

A lot of Alex's plans are building up. He needs a lot of money and he needs to let his loyal guards and friends help him out. Oh, and he has a surprise guest in his house as well.
