Author Valentina Abati, pen name Vale Snow, has released a series of books that have captivated the masses in a monumental way. With hundreds of millions of books sold across the globe, Hollywood came knocking.
While being courted by many production companies about optioning her books to be made into movies, Valentina meets Louie DelloRusso, rumored playboy and COO of his grandfather’s legendary company, DelloRusso Production House.
After a contentious first meeting with all of the executives at D.P.H, Valentina decides to pass on their offer. Despite this, Louie just had to know more about the woman whose book series means so much to him. An unexplainable physical and emotional attraction is present, and both cannot deny it.
An unexpected friendship forms, and the two start leaning on each other to navigate the ever-growing complexities of their lives. Louie helps Valentina with her new found celebrity, while Valentina gives Louie a real-life perspective of the world around him.
Respect, love, protection, lies and raw sexual attraction are the hallmarks of the journey this couple embarks on. So much happiness, yet so much betrayal. World events, personal milestones and major coverups all demand quiet on the set, and lead to an explosive “Last Look.”

“The Option” by Timarie Everett is an engaging story that explores the power of choices and how they affect our lives. The story is told from the perspectives of both Louie and Valentina. This helps readers understand how each character sees events and handles their feelings, making them relatable and real. The book deals with themes like love and sacrifice. This shows the characters figuring out who they are and highlighting that the worries and struggles we all face in relationships are normal and valid. Familiar story elements such as slow burn romance, friends to lovers, and romantic comedy make the book fun while also adding moments of deep emotion. Some parts of the book might feel slow because they focus on the characters’ thoughts, but these moments add meaning and make the story richer. Readers should be aware that the book has content warnings for topics like anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and other serious themes. This story is a reminder that our feelings matter, our choices shape us, and it’s okay to face these struggles. This book is a thoughtful read that stays with you long after you finish it.
Timarie my friend, it's 4th & 10 and you just scored the winning touchdown!! 😉
This book is so relatable it's a little scary at times and makes you realize you're not crazy or alone in having these internal battles. We've all experienced the difficulties and insecurities that occur in any relationship especially when dating and this book validates that. I loved the dual POV so you could see how both Louie and Valentina interpreted what was being said and how they thought about each situation that occurred in the book. Thank you Timarie for validating the characters, the readers and myself that our feelings are justified throughout the book. ❤️

4.75⭐️ I loved this book! It made me feel ALL the emotions. It does start off a little slow, but once I was invested, it went by quickly. Throughout it, I was making guesses on what twist was going to happen and I did get part of it right, but I was still surprised by what happened. I was not expecting that at all! Now, I NEED the next book to know what happens next. The FMC and MMC were both lovable and their banter was funny. The side characters were also a nice addition and I came to love them. AND a bonus is the FMC is an author so that was even cooler to see and the mental health/physical health representation was great! Highly recommend check this book out! Check the trigger warnings though because some parts can be difficult.
This book was so good! Very strong slow burn.if you learn anything from this book...COMMUNICATION IS KEY!! My heart goes out to the MMC, he has such a good heart. 💔 "The End....for now" WTF....that ending!! Miss Ma'am I need book 2, like yesterday 😅

Louie and Valentina love them their story had me on the edge of my seat and then the slow burn and yearning on both sides.. then the twist at the end excuse me what..
Depth! That is the first word that comes to mind. The character development is out of this world! I could pick Louie, Valentina, and their friends off the street and have fun with them- that is how well I know their characters! Timarie has given us a slow burn, but it makes absolute sense with the past hurts our characters have dealt with. As Louie and Valentina become best friends and essentially partners you can really feel their connection. Of course there are some twists and turns, and some what are they doing?? moments, but that is all a part of the journey. Now to wait for the next part!
The Option written by Timarie Everett and co-collaborator Louis Tomassi is a masterful blend of suspense, romance, and adventure that draws you in from the very first page.
Valentina and Louie’s friendship is built on a foundation of trust, empathy, and mutual growth, offering a heartfelt depiction of what it means to truly support and uplift one another.
As their relationship deepens, they navigate through the ups and downs of everyday life, learning to trust and support each other in ways they never thought possible.
Timarie and Louie have created a story that is real and relatable. Their story celebrates the beauty of finding someone who accepts you completely.
A Fresh Start to a New Series The Option is a fantastic read! Timarie does such a good job of character development that I felt like I was really getting to know her characters and their family dynamic in real life. The friendship that develops between Louie and Valentina is organic and relatable, but the telling of their evolving relationship and everything around it is done in an unexpected and exciting way that only Timarie can do. Can't wait for what will happen next!
This book was torture in the best way possible. Louie and Valentina kept me on my toes. They each other’s equal in their kindness and selflessness. They sexual chemistry was just 🔥🔥🥵🥵Louie is a unicorn of a man and the reason why I’ll be single forever because a real man could never. Warning, you might throw your book at the wall at the end. Best to not read on your kindle/ phone when this happens.
