Read this book in 1 day I couldn’t put it down! Such an amazing and inspiring story and I really enjoyed the images throughout. I am 24 and WW2 is a time in history that my brain struggles to comprehend. This book gave me insight to the raw emotions, experiences and miracles that occurred during Roy Gilbert’s service. Highly recommended to anyone looking to expand their perspective of war through the eyes of a great soldier.
