Eli’s story is a standout, as his battle with his personal demons feels raw and heart-wrenching. The way Brooklyn’s onyx eyes become a beacon of hope in his chaotic world beautifully captures the idea of love as both salvation and risk. Meanwhile, Dane provides an intriguing dynamic as the loyal “brother,” his connection to Eli adding depth to the story.

The novel does an excellent job exploring themes of trust, redemption, and the undeniable pull of fate. It’s not just a love story but a complex web of relationships bound by passion, loyalty, and the dangerous allure of the unknown. If you love a dark romance with spicy scenes that will make your eyes bug out from the shock value, then pick up this little gem!

This was a five star read for me personally due to the creativity, spice, and the evocation of emotions. This story made me feel. I would definitely read it a second time.

Warning: Your mental health is important; so if you have any triggers be sure to read the trigger warnings at the beginning of this book. This is a dark novella with an HEA.

I was completely engrossed in this story and absolutely fell for these characters! The plot and character development were top-notch, but there were a couple of bumps along the way.

First, there’s a chapter where the male lead calls the female lead “baby girl” so often I started to wonder if he forgot her actual name. Seriously, it was like his go-to noun, verb, and adjective! It pulled me out of the moment a bit.

Second, the ending felt rushed—like we were sprinting to the finish line when I was ready for a leisurely stroll. There’s so much potential for a sequel, but the way it wrapped up makes me doubt we’ll see more of these characters. That’s heartbreaking because I want more!

Overall, this story was heartfelt, captivating, and full of charm. If the author continues this world, I’ll be first in line to read it. Fingers crossed for a sequel!

It was dark. Emotional. Sexy. I connected with the character and there story. I was pulled in to the story and felt what they were feeling. I don’t believe in love at first sight but this story made me believe it. Loved the writing and story. Loved the dark character Eli he was misterios, possessive and sexy. The FMC is strong lead that I am here for. Overall 10/10 recomend

This book did NOT disappoint! Absolutely loved how the characters are written and loved how I was able to feel every emotion! It had the perfect level of spicy and drama for me. Once I picked this back up there was no way I put it down until I finished it! I found myself giggling like a school girl one minute and then crying from a heart break.

Dark, sexy, and fresh.

I was fortunate enough to be chosen to arc read this book and after diving head first into dark romance, it was refreshing to have a "love at first sight" trope added into the mix. The plot was good, the story didn't drag, and the characters were entertaining as hell. Not to mention the smut was smuttin' and I'll never complain about that.

Perfect debut. Well done!
