The book was a gift from the author, whom I met seated next to me on a flight. His passion for the subject, and knowledge of his craft, jumps off the pages just as it does in conversation. Our flight was made much more interesting because of James. His book is well-researched and especially worthwhile for readers (and policymakers) interested in military and law enforcement sharpshooting.

I probably would have never heard of this book if the author hadn’t come into my bar. But we got to talking and I learned about it so I bought it and gave it a read. Not what I was expecting but very informative.
