Since her recent breakup, Ella Delatou has buried herself in work. Between her job at the local flower shop, Blossom’s, and her family’s winery, she has plenty to keep herself busy. If only the busybody townsfolk of Apple Blossom Bay would leave her alone long enough to let her fully move on.
Liam Danvers has been working for Chateau Delatou winery as its head vintner for five years—and has been half in love with Ella Delatou for nearly as long. The first time he laid eyes on her, he knew she was the one. Only, he didn’t move fast enough, and she wound up in a relationship before he could sweep her off her feet.
Now, Ella is single again, and all bets are off.
When Ella begs Liam to take her on his cross-country road trip, desperate to leave their small town behind for a few weeks, Liam recognizes it as his opportunity to show Ella how good they could be together.
Two weeks in close proximity has the power to change their lives forever.
But the road to love isn’t always smooth. Will they find themselves on the ultimate journey to happiness…or are they driving right into a vine mess?
Amanda Chaperon realized her passion for books and writing at a young age. Growing up, she was rarely found without a book in her hands, a hobby she carried into adulthood and which ultimately gave her the confidence to begin writing her own stories. She writes what she loves to read: heartfelt, passionate characters, lots of steam, and always a happily ever after.
Amanda lives in Michigan with her Golden Retriever, Gryffin. When she’s not writing or reading, she can be found hanging out with her niece and nephew or binge watching her favorite TV shows.
I have said it before but I am going to say it again- I am LOVING friends to lovers. It has the angst of second chance romances because the one character with the “unrequited” crush is trying to figure out how to either hide their feelings or make them known. This book played it perfectly. I have had my eye on this series for a while so I was STUPID happy when I got approved for the ARC. These characters were wonderful. Liam was ALMOST a grump but was seriously misunderstood. While Ella was our flowery, sunshine woman on the recovery from a rough break up. They work together so have known each other for years. I loved learning about Liam’s long term crush and hearing Ella hear about it was perfection. He showed up for her all the time. He went to her store to buy flowers to see her. I mean come on!! The funny thing was that she thought they were for someone else. Liam helped Ella realize what she deserves and how amazing she really is. I LOVE it when the main characters bring out the best in each other.
Ella needs a change of scenery. She is still kind of spiraling from her breakup and the way her ex treated her. So when her coworker, let me rephrase HOT coworker, mentions that he is going on a two week road trip she offers to join him. For the first time, she doesn’t overthink she just does. So imagine her surprise when he says sure. Now they are traveling to all of these beautiful places all the while she is starting to realize how great of a guy Liam is. He is honest and funny and charming in his own way. And did she mention handsome. So when she starts to sense things changing between them she doesn’t know if he feels the same way. She doesn’t really know how she feels to be honest but she knows that she doesn’t want to hold back anymore. So imagine her surprise when she finds out that he has had a crush on her for YEARS. That he thinks she is stunningly beautiful inside and out. So now they are doing this thing. No labels are needed. She realizes that her feelings have developed and this trip has helped. When he asks her to join him for his brother’s wedding she is all in. She has learned how tough his family has been on him and wants to support him how she can. But then she meets his ex and Ella has to remind herself that Liam is not her boyfriend. Because she is in this for the long haul and she hopes he is too.
Liam has been crushing on Ella from behind the scenes for YEARS. He loves his job and his life and now that she is single he is ready to make a move. So when she asks if she can join him on his road trip he of course says yes. Now they are navigating one bed situations and almost kisses under beautiful sunsets. He can see her feelings are shifting but he wants her to make the first move. He will jump in after that. So when she does, he is clear with her. He wants her not just for a night but for however long she will have him. He tells her all of the things he has observed and that he finds her amazing. He wants her to feel good about herself because clearly her ex didn’t help in that category. So now they are doing this. He is overjoyed she is coming to his brother’s wedding. Having her by his side just solidifies that he has made the right decision to cut his family out. He just has to make sure Ella knows he isn’t her ex and that he means what he says.
This was a wonderful conclusion to the series. I was able to read it as a standalone and not feel like I was missing anything. I am very much looking forward to going back and reading the rest though. I found myself rooting for these two from the jump. I liked how they slowly started moving towards each other until they couldn’t avoid it any longer.
Thank you to Love Notes PR and Amanda for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review!
ARC review. A Vine Mess This is my honest to goodness review on this book, despite being an ARC reviewer. 🩵 I have been waiting for Ella's story, and it did not disappoint. This is my favorite out of the series. While I am sad that this series is over, I'm so glad I found it! The Delatou family is pure gold. Liam is a tattooed golden retriever in disguise. The perfect man for Ella. 🩵 I do not like 3rd act breakups, and I thought that's where this was headed, but guess what? It may have taken a few minutes, but they used their words and talked. 🤪 My only complaint isn't really a complaint. I hate "Daddy." It gives me the ick. 🤢😂 but most people love it. As much as I don't like it, it doesn't take away from the 5 star read. If you haven't read this series, you're missing out!
Goddamn, this was so cute and wholesome. To say I adored Liam is an understatement. That man was perfection. He waited in sidelines for eyes and only made a move when he knew she would be receptive to it. He was there for her and would do anything for her. The only thing he wanted was for her to be happy. Ella was fresh out of a bad relationship and didn't want another one so soon. But being "stuck" with Liam changed her feelings and made her see him in a new light. She was finally ready to accept his love and she gave as good as she got. They were just fantastic together and I really loved their love
ARC Review!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ While it is definitely an insta-love type story I really really loved and connected with the characters. The story is believable and the characters have depth. I loved them so much right from the start! I got a bit stuck around 75%, not sure why. Liam and Ella are beyond cute and the spice was soooo goooood! 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ Overall, a fun, wholesome, lighthearted read!! Thank you for the opportunity to read my first ever ARC!! 🌸
what an absolutely perfect ending to one of my, now, favorite series. Amanda truly writes my absolute favorite characters! 👏🏼
A Vine Mess is truly such a fun love story - it’s always been you, he falls first (and fast and HARD), road trip, forced proximity, friends to lovers - it’s basically the gift that keeps on giving 😉
Liam is the ultimate book boyfriend. He had unwavering patience and understanding for Ella. He’s basically waited forever for her, and his feelings and understanding toward her never waver. He’s steadfast and strong and i love that.
Ella is a little quirky but I love her. She was probably my favorite sister. Her banter with almost everyone she came into contact with was so enjoyable.
THE SPICE. I ATE IT UP. When she said daddy … OPE. & then she used her fingers to open for him BIG OPE. Amanda wrote (& ate) and left no crumbs on spice in this one. 👏🏼
Basically i’m just obsessed. If you enjoyed all of the sisters in this series be advised you’ll cry at the epilogue. It was the perfect cherry on top for the season.
I adored these characters. This world. These sisters. I’m basically in mourning now that it is over.
I absolutely will always scream and yell for Amanda’s and this love in the vibe series. Absolutely read it immediately if you haven’t already. 🖤
The end of an era 🥹 and I THINK this is my favorite one?! I have loved getting to know the Delatou girls and their guys and spending time in Apple Blossom Bay has been such a TREAT! And seeing the whole Delatou family together one last time was SO bittersweet! I’m sad this is the end but I couldn’t have picked a better couple to send this series off with!! Liam and Ella are perfection. I loved their love story so much! This book was full of so much love and healing and so much fun!! Seeing Ella and Liam on their roadtrip was so much fun!!
What I do love the most is a man who is DOWN BAD. And that’s Liam Danvers. The way he was pining and waiting and longing after Ella made my heart ACHE. He knew they were meant to be from the second he met her, and he happily waited until she was ready. He was so patient with her, even while he was making his feeling and his intention known and clear (he was going to push!!) and that was exactly what she needed. Ella was on a healing journey!! And I loved how much her time away from home was really able to help her!! She needed room to really breathe, and for someone to care for her without smothering her like her family and her community were (with so much love!!!) and Liam was the perfect man for the job.
Amanda hasn’t announced her next series yet and I HAVE A FEELING I might know what it is and please I hope I’m right because it just might be the most perfect thing!!!!! And if I’m right… I AM SO EXCITED!! Truthfully I’m excited either way!
Thank you SO MUCH to Amanda Chaperon for the ARC in exchange for an honest review. I am SO GRATEFUL to be here 🥹🥹

This book was the ultimate getaway book to read as I was immediately transported away on a great adventure. The characters of Ella and Liam are so perfect for each other that it was tugging on so many heartstrings. The fact that Liam had been in love with Ella and not realising it for so long and when she finally does had me kicking my feet. If you love reading romance with some adventure this book is definitely the next book for you to pick up and you will fall in love with Apple Blossom Bay.💕
Ugh I don’t even know where to begin. Love on the Vine is finished and I fear I won’t recover. Liam and Ella were the perfect ending this series, these two could not be more made for each other.
Ella, my girl. Ever since book one when we met her asshole ex I just wanted her story so she could have the hea she deserved. In walks Liam, head vintner at the Delatou vineyard, who is so down bad and finally decides to do something about it! 👏🏼
The road trip was so fun. I loved all their adventures and I loved the purple vw van. I also loved hearing about all their tattoos, these two are so hot omg.
I’m sad it’s over, but I’m so excited for what’s to come!
- road trip - vintner / florist - only one tent - he falls first / years of pining - nicknames
Thank you so much for allowing me to read! I loved this. Ella and Liam had the sweetest relationship ever. I was loving friends to lovers in this. It was just so perfect.
I loved how they could just help each other heal. Both Ella and Liam have gone through a lot. They were there for each other helping in any way they could.
As I was reading about the Lawless family and loving them, I was thinking and hoping they get their own stories and saw that you are writing them. I’m so excited for that!
Amanda has been giving us little bread crumbs about Ella throughout the series, and I have been eating them up waiting for her story, and gosh, did it deliver. Liam was so down bad. He was patient and waited for her, and the pining was EVERYTHING. 🤌 I loved the road trip and the adventures Liam and Ella had together. I could visually picture Ella coming out of shell and coming "back to life," and it had me smiling so hard. I'm sad the series is over, but it ended on such a high note!
I feel like we got the perfect teaser with Owen's family, and I really, really hope we get more of them next! 🤞
𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁: 💌 Road Trip Romance 💌 Close Proximity 💌 He Falls First (and SO MUCH harder) 💌 Vintner x Florist 💌 Open Door Spice 💌 Healing After Heartbreak 💌 Years of Pining 💌 Nicknames 💌 Only One Tent
The book has not only amazing topes, relatable characters and delicious writing but also hilarious moments and tons of he falls first and hard acts of service! 😏
Amanda managed to provide a top tier banter chemistry with delicious spice and sweetness overload including amazing roadtrip plan that I wish to execute IRL! 😍
Liam is book boyfriend I will remember: kind, a bit broken, sweet but also has a dirty mouth 🥵 Ella has done a major upgrade by choosing him to be her boyfriend 💚
Liam's gonna go on a round trip since he'll attend his brother's wedding. What he didn't count was Ella, his crush, tagging along.
I wished I read this book when I was going through my break-up because this book perfectly captured what I was feeling. Istg, this healed some part of me that I didn't knew needed some healing.
I've been wanting to read Ella's book ever since I read her in book 2 (I skipped book 1), and I am insanely curious about her character because she seems like me. I rarely saw Liam but was intrigued with the way he showed up in book 3 so this made me so excited to read this book.
You could cut the tension with a knife the way this two banter. I love how they were friends first and that seemed to be a great foundation to their relationship considering both of their traumas. We saw a different side of Liam and I love him as a character so much. He was so patient and just so perfect and yet still have flaws, yet always there for Ella.
I love Owen but goddamn, Liam's right there with him.
Okay so like this series has literally been everything and I am so sad it's over but this book.... Y'all. Liam and Ella made fast friends. They are totally opposite (grumpy x sunshine) but they fit each other perfectly. Liam tells Ella that he is going on a road trip to eventually end up at his family member's wedding and she tells him she would love to join.
These two... omg. the backstory for Liam had me sobbing, the growth of their relationship, the moments where I was literally laughing out loud, and the slow burn... it burned SO good. Once that tension snaps, you will literally fall out of your chair because I surely did.
I loved this story so much.
Tropes -vintner x florist -grumpy x sunshine -tattoed mmc and fmc -friends to lovers -road trip
Oh my god. I absolutely loved this book (Owen and Delia are still my favorite however). I think this story was ungodly sweet and adorable, something I will always enjoy. Liam and Ella were made for each other, and it was clear since the first book. Their chemistry was off the charts in this one, and I soaked it in. As sad as I am for the series to be over, it was a great finish to an amazing series that I will enjoy reading over and over again.
Ever since I finished Brie and Ezra’s story, I couldn’t wait to dive into Ella and Liam’s journey.
Ella’s character struck a deep chord with me. After experiencing the betrayal and heartbreak caused by her ex-boyfriend’s infidelity, her self-worth and confidence were shattered. Her journey through the pain, feeling diminished and questioning her own worth, was portrayed with such raw honesty that it was impossible not to feel every bit of her hurt.
What truly won me over was Liam’s unwavering patience and understanding. Waiting four years for Ella to find herself and recover from her breakup isn’t just an act of love; it’s an act of devotion. He didn’t try to “fix” her but instead created a safe space for her to rediscover her own strength. His support was transformative for Ella, allowing her to bloom into her true self again.
Their trip together was filled with moments that felt so genuine and full of warmth. Each shared glance and tender touch brought them closer, finally letting them give in to the undeniable chemistry that’s been simmering between them. Their journey from friendship to love was gradual and beautifully paced, making their romantic moments feel authentic and deeply earned.
Another highlight of this story is Ella’s relationship with her sisters. Their unshakeable support and ability to give the hard, honest advice she needs created a loving, familial backdrop. The bond between them adds a rich layer to the story, showing that true healing often comes from being surrounded by people who see the best in us, even when we can’t see it ourselves.
Overall, A Vine Mess is a heartfelt and beautifully told story about finding strength in oneself, learning to love again, and the importance of unwavering support.
This was a sweet and cute read! A book that includes sassy interactions , heartwarming scenes and a story of finding the one and taking the chance on love ❤️
Tropes 🏕️ Dual POV 🍷 Road Trip 🏕️ Cinnamon Roll MMC 🍷 He Falls First (and SO MUCH harder) 🏕️ Close Proximity 🍷 Vintner x Florist 🏕️ Years Of Pining 🍷 Healing After Heartbreak 🏕️ HEA
Liam has been crushing on Ella for over 4 years and kept his distance until he found out she was now single. . He was a total golden retriever, a tall, broad shouldered, flannel wearing MMC with a beard and a baseball cap, trust me, it wasn't just Ella SWOONING over Liam 😍 - he was the definition of a perfect book boyfriend! My heart constantly got squished by the amount of times he put his own feelings aside to make Ella comfortable. He was so supportive of all the choices she'd made and helped build her confidence
Ella decided to join Liam on his trip as she struggled to get her old self back. I enjoyed following her on her healing journey after heartbreak. Although she did have a crush on Liam she knew she needed to heal first and wanted to wait until she was ready and certain before taking the leap. That was such a powerful move!! This roadtrip was perfect for her to clear her mind and take care of herself without her family suffocating her with heaps of love. We were given two people that have been hurt in the past, one that knew he found the one and the other having to learn to trust and accept the love he was offering.
I enjoyed every interaction they had on their two week adventure. The build up of tension, angst and chemistry was perfect! The author treated us readers to chapters full of descriptions and details of each destination, we were placed right between the pages! ✨4/5✨
✨ Thank you Amanda Chaperon & Love Notes PR for the opportunity to read this ARC in exchange for an honest review ✨
There are so many little things in this book that I loved, all of them combined in this wonderful love story! Ella, a florist, and Liam, a vintner, are such a good couple, both heartwarmingly sweet and incredibly spicy. Liam fell for Ella long before the main event of the book, their road trip, takes place. If you love MMCs pining for literal years, you'll love Liam. As soon as Ella decided to give the two of them a chance, there was no turning back. Their road trip was extremely fun to read about — beautiful sceneries combined with sweet moments between them, and simply two friends having fun. The writing style will easily make you sit down and read this book in one sitting; I devoured it!
As I already said, there are so many scenes and tropes here that make this book amazing — he falls first and harder, hiking mishaps, cuddles in a tent, the cowboy hat rule, tattoos, attending a wedding together, spice spice spice (there's a Dicktionary at the end); and also mentions of Twilight, Yellowstone, Legally Blonde and ACOTAR! Apart from all of these fun things, the author did a great job developing characters with depth (trauma from previous relationships, complicated family relations) and thus added important layers to their relationship.
I would highly recommend this one! This is the last book in a series about Delatou sisters, and I will definitely be reading about the rest of them as well! The connection between Ella and her sisters is adorable, I loved every scene in which they interacted.
A huge thank you to Love Notes PR and the author for sending me an ARC of this book!
I really enjoyed both characters and story, and this world of sisterhood and friendship and then love. Ella is as sweet as the flowes she cares about! I could really relate to several points in her and loved her for being and feeling so down tonearth and real. She had been neglected and pushed down on her previous relationship so after it ended she needed to find herself again. So, what better way to reconnect with her true self and to discover her self worth than a change of scenery? She invites herself to Liam's road trip and at the same time has the chance to spend time with that awsome man. Liam is a closed up person. He was in a bad place when he moved into the small town, and at firs didn't connect to other people. So much, that he started to stay away. But that is not his true self at all. Is a valid coping mechanism, because he is caring, living, protective, selfless and so so sweet. That big wall around him is always up except form the Delatou family, mainly Ella. He fell for her almost from the day they met, but she was 'the forbidden fruit', so he tried his hardest to squash all those feelings. Until.. the road trip. Then up in close proximity with each other, in a caravan, and end up getting to know each other more and more. And they only confirm that that first attaction was spot on and they start getting feelings and attached. It was endearing seeing them tear those walls around them and simple giving into each other and letting themselves be loves and believing to be worthy.
I enjoyed this book so I hate to say this but it didn’t top my favorites from this series. Something that I did really love from this book was seeing Ella’s growth not just from the start of the book but the series overall— she was in a toxic relationship that honestly was doing her no good and her story seemed the most realistic in the sense of you date someone who isn’t good for you and spend all this time with them so you try to make it work because of that but in the end enough is enough and you live life to make yourself happy and eventually you find someone who was meant for you & that’s what I appreciated most about Liam & Ella’s story.
Compared to the other books in the series this one was just a tad bit too insta lovey for my liking but besides that it was cute seeing them FINALLY end up together since he’s been waiting YEARS for her to become available.
It was a very cute and easy read. I hadn’t read any of the previous books in the series but still really enjoyed it. It was well written and the story really pulls you in.
Both Liam and Ella complimented each other and despite their history came together beautifully. Their road trip was full of fun filled moments and I liked how they connected with each other but for me two weeks was a little too quick for them to fall for each other the way they did. For Liam it made sense since he was half in love with her for a while but I thought it moved a little too fast from Ella’s pov.
The third act “break up” although I wouldn’t really call it that annoyed me at first but the more I thought about it, the more it made sense for the story and for them.
All in all, it was a very enjoyable read. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a bit of an escapist romance with a bit of substance that goes beyond.
All opinions are my own. Thank you Love Notes PR and the author for providing me with the arc.
In this one, Ella finally gets her happy ending. I had to sit through so many books and seeing her be miserable with Alfie. And now, she can be with a man who will treat her right.
Liam has always been a character that existed in the background, and in this book we can see more into his life. He has been upgraded to a book boyfriend. It was nice to see a very nice guy, who also has a lot of tattoos. Most of the book boyfriends who have the amount of tattoos that Liam has, are very morally gray to dark.
Thank you Amanda Chaperon and LoveNotes PR. All thoughts are my own.
I’ve only read Brie’s book before this one but I absolutely love to delatou family. I love the sisters and seeing them together and learning about each of them and how they found love. Ella’s story was so sweet because Liam was always interested in her but she had no idea and it was always wrong place, wrong time. However, the chips finally fell into place for Liam and Ella and they found each other on a two week long road trip where they learned more about each other and how perfect they would be together. Even with the separate issues they are working through, they found a way to work through them together and help each other. I’ll be going back and reading the other sister’s stories and the rest of Amanda’s backlog 💙
This is the 4th book in the Love on the Vine series, but it works well as a standalone since there are only minimal references to earlier stories. I loved the first half of the book, Liam’s crush on Ella was cute, and their relationship developed naturally. Unfortunately, the second half didn’t hold up for me. The pacing felt rushed, and the plot lost its spark. Still, it’s an enjoyable book overall.
────୨ৎ──── Thank you to Amanda Chaperon and Love Notes PR for the ARC in exchange for my honest review!
Liam and Ella’s relationship is so so cute! I adored their love story and I think this was the perfect ending to this series. Liam having a soft spot for Ella for years was so sweet and I loved watching them go from friends to lovers. This was such a fun series, I’m super excited to continue reading Amanda’s books!
I absolutely loved this book and am trying to decide which one in the series is my favorite. Both Pour Decisions and A Vine Mess have 2 of my favorite tropes to read, a construction project or a road trip. What I loved about this road trip in particular was reliving my own memories about places they stopped as I was reading. It made for a super fun and immersive experience being able to picture so much.
The dynamic between the characters was top tier and I loved the Liam fell first aspect of things and how much he respected Ella’s timing of healing before making a move. And his nickname for her, Wildflower, Loved it! So unique.
Ella was a great character who I think so many, too many, people can relate to and her journey of healing was great!
All in all, I loved the book and think you should read it. You can read it on its own but I would hate for you to miss out on the rest of the series so start at the beginning!! (I did receive an ARC for the book but will happily buy it to read again.)
I absolutely loved this book! Each book in the series becomes my new favorite of the series.
Liam and Ella’s story had it all; fun banter, flirting, friendship and woah mama the spice! I loved the road trip storyline! Ella really came into herself. Became stronger and sure of herself and then assertive. She had such development! Liam was just so steady and supportive without being over bearing. He recognized what Ella needed and was patient. I mean the man waited 4 years!
The Delatou Sisters are amazing and I loved this series. Ella deserved so much more than Alfie and I'm so glad she got her happy ending. I've been waiting for it since first reading about Ella and Alfie.
Ella and Liam were perfect together. The road trip worked so well for their story. Liam was so patient with Ella throughout 🥹 they might be my favourite couple from the series.
Huge thanks to the author for an advance copy!! 🫶🏻
Such a wonderful way to end this series with Ella and Liam! It was a healing journey for both MCs and it was beautiful. I loved that they started this road trip as friends, because they really needed that. It gave me that wholesome feeling once everything came together. ❤️
I absolutely loved Liam! He is the most patient and loving man which is exactly what Ella needed. The fact that he let her come to him and still flirted and said exactly how he felt was perfect! He wanted her to know she was worth everything and more.
Ella the girl we got glimpses of just needed someone to let her be herself, to vent, to just see her. She was completely herself and he let her know she was beautiful inside and out, every chance he could.
Liam and Ella together were so good! They matched each other in all the best ways. I do have to say I think this is my favorite story.
Thank you Love PR Notes and Amanda for an ARC it was an absolute joy to read. Hopefully Owen's family is next? 😁😍
A couple who communicates? HOT! This was a sweet spicy friends to lovers dream! Ella and Liam are made for each other! Loved this! #lovenotespr #avinemess
