"Chasing Shadows on the Trail" is a historical adventure novel of approximately 60,000 words. No cliffhangers, only pure unadulterated action.
A book showing Sawyer and Meg growing up, but after both go through a lot of hard times. The characters other than Sawyer, Meg and Boone are a little weak on description. The book is mainly all about them and Ron. Ron gets a showing of a bad man. The story about Sawyer, Meg and Bone is good, but there isn’t any background on what is going on around them. The book is worth reading. Look into what isn’t being said to get the true personality of the characters.
This is the story of a young army man who has just got out after four years and was looking to settle down on his own farm/ranch and raise a family. On his release he ends up with a promise to take a fellow man’s things back to his family. This is my review and mine alone. Norma Gorrill
A smooth, realistic action story surrounding a very unusual an interesting love story all wrapped up in a wagon journey across the west. Don't miss it!
