Christmas … the season of goodwill, or so she thought.
Terry and Deana, the most unlikely guardian angels, return for their fourth hilarious assignment. The pressure is on … with only a week to go before Christmas, one woman’s future happiness is at stake.
Janice Keelan’s happiness. Unfortunately, one rash, impulsive decision made two weeks before Christmas throws her life into disarray … she’s on the cusp of losing everything.
Janice wouldn’t consider herself foolish, but she is lonely, a little too eager to find love, and trusting to a fault … traits that, as she soon learns, make her vulnerable.
Despite having something to look forward to for the first time in many a year, as the consequences of that decision become apparent, Janice faces the worst Christmas imaginable.
With no friends to turn to, facing financial ruin and the prospect of becoming homeless, Janice receives offers of help from the most unlikely of places. However, who should she trust? A man whose profession suggests she should, or the peculiar stranger who claims he’s from beyond the grave?
Will Janice make the right choice, haul her life back on track and at last find love?

Hello ... I'm a self-confessed time-travel fan. So, unsurprisingly, my books fit into the time-travel genre. My third book, Eye of Time, will be published in October 2021. Please drop onto my website for updates.
The Deana series goes from strength to strength and the future looks even funnier now - no spoilers.
There's a plethora of spirits in this story, some new, some old. And a twist of romantic interests for Deana, although she hasn't lost her old spark / flame.
Clearing up new messes from old mistakes is the theme and it tests the grey matter trying to remember all the past stories. Whilst there is a neat summary provided, I prefer to think it's a subtle marketing ploy to get you to read or re-read the earlier books. Nicely done Mr Cousins.
I absolutely love the description of all our beloved Press: "Mirror readers think they run the country. Guardian readers should run the country. The Times readers actually do run the country … poorly, I might add. The Daily Mail is read by the wives of those who run the country … poorly, as I just said. The Financial Times is read by people who own the country, the Morning Star is read by those who think the country ought to be run by another country, and the Daily Telegraph is read by people who think it is. Oh, and the Sunday Sport is read by those vertically challenged men who can’t reach the top shelf but enjoy a good wank at the weekend."
Deana's incessant, inane drivel spoiled this! Far too much time was given to her and her ramblings, especially about sex! The book would have been more enjoyable if they had got on with the story and shut her up,permanently! I had to skip her verbose monologues! Verbal diarrhoea she has! I wish the author would realise this! He has done the same with Beth in the other series! She,too rants and interrupts and verbally attacks peopl all the time! It is hard going and detracts from the story, which is actually pretty decent and enjoyable!
The deathly duo are back in the game.... helping to correct a wrong that happened in the aftermath of their previous endeavour concerning Terry's offspring, this time terry and deana are joined by other ghostly figures, who use their combined 'talents' to save the day once again. At the end of this book we are lead towards what happens next.... a tease to keep us waiting in anticipation for book 5, another 5🌟 read 📚
A magickal formula that already has me waiting upon book five of the series. I’d recommend all Adrian’s works (ideally in sequence) but with Deana & Terry he has found the perfect double act.
Having read all Adrians books I always miss the characters so much when I've finished. And I miss Terry and Deana the most. So glad to hear there will be another one. Can't wait darling x
I think I’ve read all of Adrian’s books now and this latest chapter in the adventures of Deana and Terry didn’t disappoint. It’s light hearted and a definite page turner.
Loved the interaction Between Terry and Denna and the way they worked together to help poor Janice. I also liked the way he brought back many old characters. A great laugh out loud book.
Its that time again, ( a Time leap adventure) - Adrian Cousins. I've read 3 of Adrians' books previously and loved them all. This one I found a bit disappointing. Might just be me, but there was far too much unrelated blethering going on throughout the book. I found this hilarious in the previous ones, but got fed up with it far too quickly on this one. Sorry Adrian . Deana and Terry our two DEAD detectives on another quest. Interesting storyline, just too much of the blethering between the two. Otherwise a really good read.
Terry and Deana are back, this time to help a woman who was swindled out of her life savings. I enjoyed this series and hope there will be more to come.
