“Little does she know, I haven’t hooked up with anyone since Colt’s accident. Eight weeks is practically a record for me. Let alone the extra two months I’m about to pile on top of that.”
So the relationship is “fake” but one of the MMC’s (I think he isn’t the only one) has sex with OW after meeting the FMC (they are fake engaged for over 1 year)… and in the first chapters they treat the FMC poorly…

I always enjoy each new book in this series, and this one was equally as good. Bridget is such a bright and colorful Omega and brings joy everywhere she goes. I love that she didn't let her internalized struggles from her awful family damper her brightness. She's so sweet and loving and more than deserved the perfect pack for herself. Each of the guys balance her and the pack so well. Of course they were all a hot mess in the beginning, but thankfully they got it together and they all got their HEA. I enjoyed the little cameos of past pack members and I'm so curious to see where this series goes next.

Ari Wright writes consistently good omegaverse books and this one is no exception.
The storyline was hard-hitting and powerful in terms of self esteem and being kind to yourself. I loved the characters and seeing cameos from the previous characters.
Bridget is probably my favourite FMCs from the series so far, I adored her!

Bridget is absolutely perfect and precious and I will accept no criticism of her 😌. She's kind and bright and bubbly even through all of her insecurities and just does whatever she can to make the world a better place and she deserves absolutely everything.
The guys had a lot of groveling to do, except Adrian he's also perfect, and she really made them prove that they wanted her before she forgave them as she freaking should have. Colt had a side eye from me for a hooooot minute but he turned out to be a giant cinnamon roll 💅🏻.
I really liked the way her scent was done. It was a unique twist that I haven't read before and it's something I would want more of. Oh and that spice? Spicing 😌.

Who knew all I needed in my life was a fake engagement turned fated mates omegaverse? And boy, did I need this!
Bridget is not your typical omega. She’s plus-size & her lemon scent is heavily acidic & has turned away suitors. When an old high school acquaintance, Jesse, reaches out with the proposal for a fake engagement, she jumps at the chance. Jesse is the pitcher for the Kings’ baseball team & his pack needs some serious PR help. The plan is working, until it’s leaked to the media that their engagement is fake. To save face, the pack moves into her tiny house. And queue the chaos!
I adore Bridget. She is a plus-size omega, which, as a plus-size girly, I love to see. Bridget has been told her whole life that there is something “clearly” wrong with her. Since it’s all she heard, Bridget understandably has a negative self-image. It was wonderful to see how the Locke Pack helps build her confidence.
My lord, this pack is an absolute mess. It’s no wonder that they were falling to pieces since Dante, Colt, Jesse and Bridget couldn't express their feeling to save themselves. Thank the gods for Adrian! This man deserves a gold star. He practically strong-armed them together. I fear without him, the rest of them would’ve imploded.
The relationship gets off to a wrong start thanks to murky communication and misinterpretations. I ate this up! That scene at the gala, I was so stressed. But when we got the big reveal I was squealing & kicking my feet. It was utter perfection! Also, the nest shopping scene! So good!
Ari Wright writes my brand of sweet omegaverse. I’m a little sad I didn’t pick this series up sooner, but better late than never! If you love an omegaverse and want messy characters with a sports romance flavour, this is the book for you.

This one was pretty damn sweet. It is a fake fiancee trope, but whereas usually in those types of stories, the fake couple lives together and starts falling for each other, in this case they continue totally separate lives until the secret comes out about it all being fake. It made it more interesting, because the guys had just been using her as cover. How do they convince her they want more, when that's been the case for over a year?
The FMC Bridget was also pretty great - despite growing up with a mother and sister who were complete bitches, Bridget was pretty sunshine. But not in a ditzy way. She learned early how to take care of herself and manage her own life, finding happiness in the little things, and in helping others. There was some deep-down hurt about all the things she'd been convinced she could never have, but she didn't ever let that hold her back. And so while she knew the guys were using her, she used them right back - the deal with them got her a home away from her bitch-on-wheels sister, and control over their charitable donations, so she could help the projects that were nearest and dearest to her. And when it all got fucked up because the secret leaked, she put up with no shit, adamant that they fix it. She was great.

Well. That was literally the only ending that I would accept after going through all of that with these characters.
I wish more conversations and healing about her trauma had happened but otherwise it was a pretty good book.
I did really enjoy all the different ways their relationships develop with her.

The way Ari Wright brings her packs together sometimes in the most unconventional way will always be a favorite of mine! Fake engagement in an omegaverse! I am not sure i have ever read that before. And boy did Ari deliver! She didn’t just give us a swoon-worthy pack of protective alphas. She also gave us an omega who’s equal parts sweet and caring with the biggest heart, but she is also feisty and sassy. Watching this pack come together had me completely hooked.
Bridget was the perfect omega, and seeing her find her HEA with a pack that absolutely worshipped her felt so deserved. Especially after everything she went through.
This pack of alphas is definitely something to swoon over! The way they spoiled her, adored her, worshipped her, and protected her. What more could a girl ask for? Although, it definitely too some convincing on their part, but these alphas were absolutely up for the challenge! I can’t get over the way Jesse had pined over Bridget for years. Or the unapologetic way Adrian wanted her to call him daddy (I’m always here for a good daddy k*nk!). Or the sweet way Dante was always scent marking her. And even though it took Colt a little longer to come around, Ari did not disappoint when these two finally found their way to each other.

This isn’t my first read by Ari Wright…so why do I alway forget that she starts with the drama & sets things right along the way….she is definitely not a “things are great until 80% & then bam…haha” type of writer…she gets the drama started in the very beginning & takes off from there….love it!!!
I’ve loved all of the FMC in this series but Bridget is my number 1….she is all of us at some point in life….questions everything because she was always told she wasn’t good enough….little did she know she was perfect…maybe not perfect for everyone but perfect for the ones that matter
Then you have the men in her life….they had a lot of growing up to do….the first 3 needed the 4th to show them the way….teach them how to be the men they were always meant to be
I usually pick a pack favorite…mine this time was Jesse….Colt was a close second though…I think he had the most growth throughout the book…he tugged at my heart a lot….& who couldn’t love Dante & Adrian….those two can spoil me rotten any time they’d like please & thank you
& we can’t forget the neighbor lady Betty…she was a hoot!!! Her snark was chefs kiss

I read books 1-3 and loved them, so when I saw the ARC sign-ups from Hambright PR in my email, it was a no-brainer.
You guys I was not expecting to spend the first half of the book crying 😭😭😭 (and I loved every minute of it. Sometimes I need a book that emotionally wrecks me lmao).
If you’ve ever felt alone, misunderstood, under-appreciated, or like you just don’t fit in, this FMC will speak to your soul. The body positivity and overcoming of covert familial abuse & medical gaslighting were the sprinkles on top of the beautiful, funny, plus-sized goddess that is Bridget.
The boys were a HOT MESS until daddy Adrian came along to save the day. I absolutely adored the ways he flexed his dominance when they needed strong guidance, but also listened to and cared for their individual needs and wants. And he’s so sweet with Bridget.
My would-have-been-nice list is fairly short: I do think that if we’re advertising daddy kink, we should get more daddy kink on page. It was very, very limited, and only towards the end of the book, which is a bummer if you’re into it and looking forward to it. I did also wish we’d gotten more info earlier on about Bridget’s scars and the experience (avoiding spoilers here…) that gave them to her; I feel like it would’ve been a traumatic enough experience to be seen on page more, at the very least in the form of inner monologue or bad dreams or *something*. She wouldn’t have just moved on. Finally, I do wish we had more baseball on-page. It all mostly happened during their off-season, which made sense as a vehicle for driving the plot, but I’m the type of reader that wants a lot of whatever sport the sports romance involves.

It all mostly happened during their off-season, which made sense as a vehicle for driving the plot, but I’m the type of reader that wants a lot of whatever sport the sports romance involves.

This is probably going to get emotional but that’s okay!
Bridget is probably my favorite FMC by Ari and also my most relatable one from her.
This is everything you could want and then so, fake engagement/dating, scent match, groveling, steamy, and so amazing (plus so many amazing tropes)
Colt has my heart because I get his anger that he directs to everyone, but Bridget is my go to in this book!
Adrian is totally Daddy Alpha and I love that about him, and the way this pack forms and the complications and butting heads that happen from adding a pack alpha and then trying to prove the fake relationship isn’t fake!
Plus when everything comes out and it was always her all along it’s just so good! And so emotional!
I was lucky enough to ARC read this and I can’t wait to get a copy on my shelf!

i was skeptical of the pack at first due to how the book started, but they all won me over so hard 😭 i was so protective of bridget in the beginning i wanted to fight everyone for her 🤣
i love how she sassy she is 😭 and honestly im so shocked by how quickly a shortstop won me over 👀
her character shows how progress isn’t linear and while those around you can influence you, it’s ultimately up to you to love yourself and gain confidence 🥹

I love Bridget.

I have never felt more represented by a female lead in a book ever. Bridget is plus size and would be good with herself, but she is constantly told otherwise. She is told to make herself smaller, being less instead of more. She is also fiercely independent out of necessity. I related so much to her inner thoughts and struggles. Being happy with your body and your life when it doesn't fit the standards of others is hard and brave.
The guys all had their quirks and messed up, but the grovel was on point. The sweet things they each did fit them so well, and I swooned at each one. The spice was spicing... Hot, had me blushing while reading in public.
This story had me laughing, had me reflecting, and at 80% had me in tears...

Bridget was the absolute sweetest and the things she had to endure hurt my heart. I wanted to reach through the pages and giver her a huge hug and then throttle someone on her behalf!
It was definitely tough to read about how she was treated by her Alphas, but I loved how Adrian came in with that Daddy energy and took control. They totally needed it!
I liked the little bits of mystery we had throughout the story, like what was up with her scent and the family drama was top notch!
I highly recommend the whole series and thought the newest release is the perfect addition!

DNF at 17%… eww, no - pack members sleeping with others after arranging a fake-engagement with the FMC; one or two coming across as an irresponsible manchild; one decrying how his days sleeping around will have to go on hold temporarily; they’re stuffing up all over the place; etc. Oh and what was supposed to be a bopo read is so far full of negativity. What this book has:
1. Strong FMC who’s an absolute joy
2. 4 men who are just so loveable in their own ways
3. A gorgeous amount of character growth
4. Lemon 🍋 🤤
5. Just some of the hottest scenes
6. Top tier banter and wit
7. A super sassy neighbour
8. NO THIRD ACT BREAKUP!!! (We love to see it)
9. Non violent “revenge” of sorts
10. A totally perfect HEA

I could’ve read this one in 2 days but I honestly kept forcing myself to put it down because I knew the hangover was going to be bad. I fell in love with this book by chapter 3. I love a hot, strong, witty, fat mc & then to pair her with 3 himbos and an older “daddy” dom *mega swoon*
Bridget makes a deal with 3 alphas, who are a pack, to be their fake fiancé but play it off as real. Ever since she was younger her “perfume” has always been off putting, a sour and acrid smell/taste so she was told she would never be truly loved and accepted, what other choice does she have. When someone leaks to the press that it’s all a hoax the pack of, now 4, alphas have to find a way to trick the world into thinking they really are engaged. How best than to all move in together.
They have to try and stick it out for a few months until Bridget is supposed to go into heat and has requested the guys be gone. Can the 5 of them live together inside Bridget’s small house without getting a little too close?
Adrian is the eldest Alpha of the pack and also the manager for the guys baseball team. He’s always the best dressed and always the man with a plan.
Dante is the fiery hot and cheeky Alpha of the group. He loves arguing with Bridget and having a variety of late night snacks. 😉
Jesse is the timid and soft spoken Alpha with a very specific kink you won’t see coming. He’s know Bridget since high school and is always willing to lend a helping hand or a shoulder to cry on.

Bridget has spent her whole life being made to feel less than. Born with an acidic and revolting scent, a family that is devastated by that as well as her body type, and does everything they can to "fix" her, she's accepted she'll never have a mate. When the opportunity to have a space of her own, the cover of being engaged to a pack, and being able to have the funds to support causes she cares about comes about, she jumps at the chance. Even if doing so means she needs to shove her omega far down inside her, to never give her the chance at hope for more.

This was such a phenomenal novel. Seeing how Bridget viewed herself, as well as her constantly expecting everyone to treat her terribly and accepting it, broke something inside me. She was so headstrong and capable, while also being generous and loving, despite no one else showing her she deserved the same treatment. Having the pack come from a place where they also set out to dismiss and abandon her for over a year, and needing to work to gain back any form of trust was heart wrenching and beautiful.
Her hatred of her body, her scent, and everything that made her fundamentally her, and carrying that shame while still outwardly presenting herself as someone nonchalant who could handle anything was so perfectly done. Every time one of the members of the pack discovered another way she'd been mistreated, and her complete disbelief that she was worthy, and everything was for show, had my feelings gripped the whole time. I absolutely loved seeing the tide turn, and how they all came to cherish and uplift her.
I haven't read an Omegaverse in awhile and now I need to go back and read every one in this series because this one had me feeling so strongly, and devastated along with the leads, and it was everything I was looking forward to.

I laughed (a lot). I cried. I could feel so much love, nurturing, teasing, growing, soul searching and more within this book. Maybe I just feel like Bridget is a kindred spirit with her mindset and struggles, so it felt relatable (even though it’s an omegaverse lol) but wow I loved every minute of this book! They all had to learn more about themselves, and grow as an individual before they could be perfect together as a pack (except maybe Adrian - that Alpha was born perfect).
There’s always so much humor and the perfect level of spice in Ari’s books, and this one was no different. Bridget’s neighbor and Dante had me laughing out loud constantly, as well as Bridget’s inner monologue about her omega. And the first group smex scene in this book is something I’m not sure I’ll ever forget. 🔥🥵
I 100% recommend this series if you’re new to the omegaverse trope and you enjoy why choose romances. I’m worried I won’t be able to find any other omegaverse books that hit the spot like these do!

Bridget’s neighbor and Dante had me laughing out loud constantly, as well as Bridget’s inner monologue about her omega. And the first group smex scene in this book is something I’m not sure I’ll ever forget. 🔥🥵
I 100% recommend this series if you’re new to the omegaverse trope and you enjoy why choose romances. I’m worried I won’t be able to find any other omegaverse books that hit the spot like these do!
General Info:
This is the 5th book in the Most Valuable Pack series, a sports centric omegaverse series. This is an interconnected standalone so you will have some crossover of characters from other books, so I do recommend reading these in order. Plus, you *NEED* to meet the other packs. Each one is perfection in its own way.

Enjoyed this omegaverse book, it was an entertaining read.
I liked the dynamic of Bridget just fully not believing in herself due to her sh!tty family. Initially I didn’t like the pack guys at all - while I get maybe it was her deal with them to be left alone, they really treated her poorly and I wasn’t loving that for an omegaverse main pack. They do eventually grovel their heads off, especially when Adrian comes into the picture. Adrian is *it*. His sweet, strong assurances with her are *everything*, absolutely loved it - can I get an Adrian for me please? lol
This book was good overall but not my fave of the series. I was just missing a bit in the writing style itself, I usually absolutely adore Ari’s writing but this just didn’t hit the same voice her others do - I love when she writes with more emotive imagery and I didn’t get that much in this one. I also am not sure I really got to know and like the guys apart from Adrian so it just fell a bit flat for me. I would have liked them and their inner thoughts about her and the situation more fleshed out, especially given how they treated her initially.
As always, though, I liked how much devotion and care they do eventually bring around and how she grows to trust herself and be proud of herself and let her omega free.
Overall, loved Bridget, loved Adrian, and enjoyed the read.

Bridget’s book is here! I am a huge of omegaverse books and have been loving this series so much! This book is so funny and emotional and was an absolute joy to read!

I loved Bridget so much! She is feisty and snarky and has the most beautiful heart.
She had putting everyone else first for so long I loved it when her walls finally fell and she had someone to take care of her for a change.

Adrian was perfect as pack leader. He was broody and charming and really took charge. The other three had some groveling to do!! Jesse was an absolute sweetheart. Oh Dante - The kitchen scene…yeah 🔥. Then we have Colt…he had been hurt and was struggling…but underneath that alphahole exterior just might be a super secret teddy bear.
