The future promises everything…
until Sam and Jackson Knight conspire with their old friend, Price Hardin, now a Deputy U.S. Marshal, to capture the notorious Colson Brigham Gang, and two relationships from their pasts surface to threaten their marriage.

Secrets can destroy you and the one you love…
And Sam’s been keeping a big one from Jackson. Struggling with an irrational fear of being stalked, her inability to bear a child, and her amnesia, she questions whether she’s done the right thing marrying him, especially with town gossips whispering that he’s the father of a local widow’s five-year-old son.

Their love is strong, but something is troubling Sam…
And Jackson fears outlaws, jealousies, and self-doubts can destroy even the strongest love. Is his friendship with the woman who saved his life years ago jeopardizing his and Sam’s marriage? He does care for Jessa Nolan and her boy, Peter Jack. That’s why he moved them to town and employs her in his hotel.

And then there is Deacon Storey, the charismatic gambler who was raised with Sam as a brother and once dreamed of marrying her. Is he expecting to take up where he left off?

They risk everything…
Drawn into Price Hardin’s scheme to set a trap with a lure so enticing no outlaw craving fame, fortune, or power can resist it, Sam and Jackson must trust family and friends and each other if they’ve any chance of protecting the town citizens and surviving the tangled web of deceptions threatening them.

Equal parts action, suspense, and romance, Everything in Prosperity is a riveting tale of a man and a woman with the honor, courage, and strength of heart to fight for everything that matters.

Book 2, "Everything in Prosperity," winner of Gold Award for fiction from Literary Titan.

Even before reading Owen Wister’s, The Virginian: A Horseman of the Plains, in tenth grade, Judy Hannigan loved historical westerns.

In the Old West, where a good man and a good woman can prevail—together—the heroes and heroines in Judy’s romance adventure novels persevere to find enduring love. They do what’s right, instead of what they’re told—and justice triumphs. And her supporting characters demonstrate blood isn’t the primary factor that binds people to one another.

Raised in Southwest Michigan’s “fruit belt” country near the shores of Lake Michigan, she earned a BA in Secondary Education (English and American History) and an MA in Reading at the Secondary Level from Western Michigan University.

She taught high school for more than six years before deciding technical editing was a better fit. Presently, she writes full-time and resides in Southern Maryland with her husband and the best neighbors in the world.

I didn’t think Judy Hannigan could top book one, Lost in Prosperity… but Everything in Prosperity -- IS EVERYTHING. Raw, powerful, and full of heart. And the way it’s written? It plays out like a Western movie—scene by scene, right there in your mind.

Judy Hannigan's Everything in Prosperity is the kind of story that stays with you. Engaging, incredibly visual, and an absolute delight to read. Highly recommend jumping into the Prosperity Series if you haven’t yet.

Everything in Prosperity, the second book in the Prosperity Series by Judy Hannigan, is a captivating ride from start to finish. The bond between Sam and Jackson feels so real and raw, and watching their relationship get tested by old secrets and new challenges made me empathize with them every step of the way. I love how Sam remains true to herself—sassy and stubborn—through it all.

Packed with suspense, romance, and action, this book delves deeper into the lives of Sam and Jackson, whose marriage is tested by secrets, past relationships, and external threats. We also follow Jessa and Deacon's storyline, and I found myself especially invested in their narrative, as I never doubted Jackson’s love for Sam.

The intertwining storylines kept me hooked from beginning to end. This gripping tale explores the complexities of trust and sacrifice in a way that is both captivating and heartfelt. This series is an absolute must-read!

Ok I have to start by saying I liked book 1 but omg book 2 was even better!!!!! The characters are engaging, hardheaded but sweet. I really love Sam as she has that take charge and no one can tell me different personality which made me a laugh a few times. The story was good and kept me guessing. I couldn't wait to find out if Jackson was Peter Jack's father. I would definitely recommend this book!

In Everything in Prosperity, Judy Hannigan masterfully transports readers to the rugged, untamed world of the Old West, weaving a tale rich in action, romance, and suspense. The novel follows Sam and Jackson Knight, whose partnership with Deputy U.S. Marshal Price Hardin to dismantle the notorious Colson Brigham Gang sets the stage for conflicts that reach far beyond gunfights and outlaws. Their most perilous battles are not against their enemies but within their own hearts. Sam carries a secret that weighs heavily, her past shrouded in whispers and shadowed by guilt. Meanwhile, Jackson wrestles with his loyalty to Sam and his connection to Jessa Nolan, the widow who saved his life and whose son may hold an unspoken bond with him. Complicating matters further is Deacon Storey, Sam’s childhood confidant and former suitor, whose return stirs old emotions and unresolved tensions. As danger closes in and trust is tested, Sam and Jackson must navigate a maze of jealousy, doubt, and betrayal to determine if their love can withstand the pressure—or if the past will tear them apart forever.

Hannigan's storytelling stands out for its meticulous research and seamless integration of real historical figures like Annie Oakley, anchoring the fictional narrative in a vivid sense of authenticity. Her portrayal of frontier life brims with detail, painting scenes of dusty trails, bustling saloons, and the raw, unpredictable nature of life on the edge of civilization. Every description immerses readers in a world that feels both gritty and alive, pulling them into the drama and danger. At its core, this is a story about resilience and redemption. Sam and Jackson’s relationship is layered and deeply human, their love tested by external threats and personal demons alike.

Sam’s strength and vulnerability make her a compelling heroine, while Jackson’s loyalty and inner conflict ground him as an imperfect yet endearing partner. The supporting cast adds richness to the narrative, from the determined Deputy Hardin to the enigmatic Deacon Storey, and even young Peter Jack. Together, they create a tapestry of relationships that feel genuine and multifaceted. The villains, meanwhile, bring a chilling edge, their menace adding tension and urgency to the story.

Everything in Prosperity isn’t just a tale of romance and adventure—it’s an exploration of the themes of forgiveness, loyalty, and the enduring power of love. Hannigan’s ability to balance heart-pounding action with deep emotional resonance ensures that the story grips readers from beginning to end. Fans of historical fiction, romance, and suspense will find much to admire in this novel.

I highly recommend this book, as it is an unforgettable journey into the trials and triumphs of the Old West. It leaves readers pondering one of the oldest questions of all: Can love truly conquer the scars of the past and the challenges of the present? With its gripping narrative and emotionally charged characters, Everything in Prosperity delivers a resounding answer.

Book 2 is even better than the first. Judy Hannigan knows how to write a sexy story with characters you root for from beginning to end. And, even when Sam and Jackson meet "bad guys", or have moments of relationship insecurity (like all of us), they find their way back to each other. Judy writes beautifully – weaving a story that avoids the formulaic checklist used by others. I loved how she brought in Old West characters who were actually part of history. But best of all as Sam and Jackson live and love (great romance scenes), they are supported by a family THEY have chosen. I am really looking forward to Book 3 - that teaser made me smile.

What a great read! This story transported me back to the wild, wild west with great writing and well-researched historical details. Including real historical personalities like Annie Oakley definitely added authenticity to the plot. I love the diverse range of characters including young Peter Jack; Sam and Jackson's unconventional extended family and intrigue; and a very interesting cast of heroes and villains. The hot romance scenes were a joy. I loved 'Everything in Prosperity' and it's prequel, 'Lost in Prosperity'.

4 Stars for Everything in Prosperity (2nd book in the Prosperity series) by Judy Hannigan. Because I purchased this ebook, I was able to read this book in btwn library books. I rarely read multiple books at the same time but because this book and setting was so different, it was easy to pick up and put down.

Everything in Prosperity is a western romance set in the Wyoming territory in the 1800s. The story continues with Jackson & Sam, who is struggling with a fear of being stalked (due to past trauma), her inability to bear Jackson's child (while dealing with rumors that he fathered a son with Jessa), and dealing with the loss of her memory. This book (and their relationship) is definately more spicy than the first.

I actually was more interested in Jessa's storyline and her developing love interest! Still, very good sophmore book on a genre I don't typically gravitate to.
