I found this book to be very interesting.
I liked the main side hustle. Parts of this book felt very relatable. Even parts of the story made me mad. Also a little confused at times. But it all came together with the twist I didn’t see coming!

I found this book to be very interesting.
I liked the main side hustle. Parts of this book felt very relatable. Even parts of the story made me mad. Also a little confused at times. But it all came together with the twist I didn’t see coming!

ARC REVIEW
Ok, I loved this book. If I could recommend one book to read this year, it would be this one.
The story was well planned out and well written it had me constantly turning the pages. There was some serious spice going on 🌶🥵 but it also had the most amazing powerful story to tell and the massive twist at the end. MIND BLOWN!!!!! 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯
The ending left me feeling sad, but I also wanted more if that made sense, so I do hope there is another book to follow.
This book is 100% worth a read this year it's out at the end of November.

This book had everything. The ups and downs are the in and outside. It was super suspenseful. This kept me on the edge of my chair or bed or car seat. Omg a must-read promise you won't see it coming.

New Author for me and she did not disappoint with this book. I thoroughly enjoyed the characters. I felt they were very relatable and the plot was fantastic. I did not guess the ending which was amazing. I love how this book made me have so many emotions I was happy, I was sad,I was excited it was just such a great debut novel from her. I hope she does more books. I will continue to read them.!!

I have to be honest here... I originally selected this book because I needed a break from the intense books I typically read. I thought something a little fun and dirty would be perfect. There was soooo much more to this book than just some "smut." Some of the content was deep; like thought-provoking deep...
From the beginning, the book had me wondering, what lengths would I go to in order to continue to provide for my family? Jess's husband, Phil, loses his job and they find themselves struggling to make ends meet. Jess decides to take extreme measures, and she ends up putting herself in difficult, often unsafe situations. In her travels, she meets mysterious Misty. When Misty speaks, it seems as though she's attempting to send cryptic messages as they are disjointed and don't fully make sense. Misty has her questioning her own choices and sanity. Jess also finds herself confiding all of her deep, dark secrets to her best friend, Emily. To me, it felt like Jess and Emily had a love/hate type of relationship.
One small thing that really, REALLY bothered me was the amount of times the author used the incorrect "your/you're". Example: "He thinks your special". "I don't know what your doing". Drives me BONKERS!!!!
I do have to say that this was one of the best books I read in 2024! Five stars 🌟 from me and I'm very stingy with my stars!

I wasn’t sure what I was getting into when I started this book. There are lots of trigger warnings for this one. Lots of spice, some dark subject matter and quite the reveal at the end.
Jessie is a mom of two, in a dead end marriage. Money is very tight, so Jessie becomes an escort. Jessie likes being an escort though, she enjoys sex, and lots of it.
The story is actually much more complex than I initially thought it would be. I was quickly turning the pages to see what was going to happen next. You meet Emily, her best friend, Misty the young troubled girl trying to get help from Jessie, and Sam. Sam is a client, that becomes much more than that.
The book was well written, the author makes you feel a range of emotions.I sympathized with the main character, while at the same time, I often didn’t like her. By the time I turned the last page, I just had to sit with my thoughts for a moment.
It’s hard to put this book into a category, because it really does include many tropes.
Although I felt it could have been skimmed down in parts, I thought it was a great read.
I hope J.C.P Thomas continues to write, she’s pretty darn good at it!

WOW!
I won’t lie, I nearly gave up on this book. I’m not usually one to read long books (over 400 pages). However I persevered with this one. Boy I am so glad I did!
I have NEVER read a book like this in my life. I laughed and I cried and I felt the raw pain in this book. This book may have triggered me in ways that I was not expecting in the slightest but once I worked through it, I have an understanding as to why I reacted the way I did on a deeper personal level.
I will say to please check for trigger warnings for this book as it is dark but almighty powerful, however, YOUR MENTAL WELLBEING IS NUMBER ONE PRIORITY!!🫂💓

The characters are loveable one moment and dislikeable the next . I can't wait to see what people think !

Everyone feels differently by stories we read and that’s why not every story is meant for every single person. This my opinion of Three’s A Crowd!
I don’t think I have enough words to describe this book.
The detail in this story is refreshing and I really felt like I was apart of it. The spicy moments weren’t the main concept of this story. Learning about our main characters past and her struggles in the present. While she juggles through life…. Was so well written I didn’t want to put my kindle down. There is so much more depth to this book than meets the eye and it was an honor to be able to receive early access!
I enjoyed every letter, every sentence, every paragraph of this book. It was truly an adventure and I hope JCP continues to follow her passion for writing!!

This was such a unique and interesting read. The MFC has a secret side hustle as an escort, showing a realistic view of the not so glamours parts of the job. This book does a deep dive into the mind of a hyper sexual woman who suffered tremendous sexual trauma and how's its effected her life. There is an intriguing storyline with a plot twist that I NEVER saw coming. I'm talking jaw on the floor disbelief twist! You see the MFC try to manage her hectic life, family, relationships, and wild career. It's hard to categorize it, but if I had to, it would be in-between a psychological thriller and a dark romance with more dark elements than romance. Overall, I recommend giving this new author a read and supporting her on her writing journey!

Yes this book is a long book but certainly didn’t feel like it when reading. I struggle to sleep and find it hard to sleep so this is why this book has been read so fast with my free time I’m glad I had I was able to read this spicy and very intriguing book. GET TOWELS !!! Anyway the best friends are amazing and the plots and twists in this book (triggers as well) are amazing but are out fine by the spicyness of this book. GIVE IT A READ!!

This book is a real testament to good writing and a wild ride. You think you know what it’s about, but it’s so much more. Yes, it’s dark, yes, it’s about a woman who is unhappy in her marriage, yes she’s an escort, but it’s so much more and you have to read it to understand that. The human mind is amazing and this book takes you into a place in someone’s mind to see that people are more than they first appear.

This book was definitely dark, but it also found a way to be emotional, and funny at the same time. It did take me a few days to read because at some parts I had to put the book down! It was full of spice but also at the same time it was full of depth that continued to keep me hooked page by page.
It deals with dark themes and addresses a lot of issues that people can relate to, and feel like they aren’t alone!
The twist in this smacked me in the face and I never saw it coming!

Honestly, I loved this book. It's so well written that you feel all the emotions the main FMC is going through. This story had me second-guessing quite often. I laughed in places and cried in others. From the first chapter, I was sucked in and couldn't put it down. Extremely spicy throughout!

What can I say - this book is amazing. It is such a well written book and the spice is spicing. I went through a rollercoaster of emotions. Laughing at times to feeling hot and bothered. For a dark romance book the storyline is amazing so much better than what you sometimes expect from this style of book

This book was a 3.5/ Maybe a 4 star because i hate to write a review based on I think this is sometimes true life story and Id hate to think judging them would be right, however, it is maybe 200 pages to long.

This is a great written book with real characters. Some parts are not for the faint hearted but they all fit within the story. My criticism is that it goes on far too long, parts being really long and drawn out. This made me skip pages just to move the story forward. It well worth the read however although I did guess the outcome of the story.

Hands down one of the best books I’ve ever read, if I could recommend you one book to read it would hands down be this one! This book is incredibly written. There was some serious spice init but also had an amazing powerful story, not to mention a twist I never saw coming and the very ending left me with a lump in my throat! Please read this book it’s definitely worth it. Coming out end of November! This will live rent free in my head.

I am not a fan of a long book and some reviews said it was a bit long. It is long, but it DID NOT FEEL IT! Not to me anyway I was gripped. Damn and blast work getting in the way of reading!
I was pleasantly surprised and became very invested in it. It has a depth in this book that makes it feel real. Its long because the author adds a lot to the characters which made me fully invested in it.
It is quite dark, but peppered with humour too. I will never forget this book.
If you like a quick easy spicy read, that doesn't strain your brain, a read where you don't appreciate the effort the authors has gone to with the words and providing real character development and depth, then this is not for you. But if you want something a bit different to your run of the mill dark romance novels with masked men, something that feels a bit more real life and with characters that are middle aged not young fit things, then you will enjoy this book.
It would also make a great film.
Some feelings of the MFC are repetitive but then again aren't they all in real life? And in many ways that helped it feel relatable, although the story of the MFC is not one I have personally experienced I could relate to a lot of the feelings she had around her children, her husband and her lover. As well as towards herself.

My ex girlfriend showed me the 1st chapter of this book because, as she says, "...once you read the first few paragraphs, you'll be hooked!" I'm a 51 year old man and i haven't actually read a book since I was 26 so when I actually finished "Threes a crowd", I was shocked and I'm probably not even the target demographic for this book!
The authors use of words kept me on the hook especially when he was describing all of the intimate scenes. As the story unfolded I also began to feel quite emotional and attached to the characters which made me question if I "should" be enjoying parts of the story or was I just being "bad"!
I'm recommending this book to everyone as I feel this is finally something that breaks down annoying social barriers, creates emotion, empathy and anxiety for the characters and also is so humorous that I laughed out loud on many occasions!
It's a roller coaster of a book and the author should be very proud!

Everyone needs to experience this book what an incredible read! The author done an amazing job with writing about some very sensitive subjects. The storyline is beautifully written and absolutely mind blowing. The twist and turns are incredible. I fell in love with the characters instantly. I love everything this book stands for and honestly will be recommending this to everyone possible. This book brought victim a whole range of emotions from me it was emotional thrilling and hot as hell all at the same time It will take me a while to get Iver this one ghats for sure. If you like a well written storyline alongside your spice with dark aspect and thrilling twists then this is the book for you!!

I had the great pleasure and opportunity to read this book as an ARC. This book takes you on such a journey of how the FMC goes through so many struggles, that I honestly felt so much for the FMC and at times wanted reach into the book and hug her. It takes you through so many emotions as it is funny and spicy but also dark, raw and heart breaking. With that being said, it’s so hard describing this book as so much happens I wouldn’t want to spoil it. The twist is done brilliantly, although I did see where it was going I don’t think everyone will and it would be quite shocking. Adding to that, the way the author captures mental health issues is done so well. As there are some dark themes throughout this book, I would recommend checking the trigger warnings first.

Three’s A Crowd by JCP Thomas was not what I was expecting, and I was pleasantly surprised! The story is more complex than I had anticipated, and the reader quickly gets sucked in. Yes, there is some darkness but kudos to the author for bringing it all together. Well done. 4 stars because it was a bit long in some areas for me but a great story nonetheless! I'm sorry, but I couldn't get past chapter 4 in this book. This just wasn't for me.
A working mom who also works as an escort because she's sex deprived, her husband is unemployed, and they need the money. But her family has no clue what she does on the side. Not only does Jess get too familiar with a "client" she breaks all her rules.
