The show must go on & hopefully she can figure things out before the curtain rises. Light holiday cozy mystery that will leave you wanting to see more of these characters. Very enjoyable.
This was a quick fast mystery. When the Sugar Plum Fairy is killed by a hit and run accident Charlotte is determined to find out what really happened before the ballet studio has to cancel The Nutcracker. A really good story line that kept me guessing to the end. I really liked the MC and the book was so well written.
What a delightful holiday mystery. Who doesn’t love the Nutcracker?….probably no one except when murder is involved. I found this book very entertaining. I am sure it is a special holiday mystery but would love to have more books with these characters.

When someone offed their lead dancer, Charlie was determined to find the killer and prove their dance company was a safe place. I liked her boss, a really kind and understanding former ballerina now instructor. How awesome to work for the person you admire so much.
The showdown was fairly peaceful and the perp was hauled away so everyone could carry on with an awesome performance and Christmas celebration.
The ballet, The Nutcracker, is synonymous with Christmas. This book centers around a ballet studio, the famous holiday ballet, and of course a murder. It is a quick, entertaining read.
