Discovered on the side of the road near her murdered rogue parents, Eliza Wilton was adopted into the Moon Valley Pack at the age of three. Unfortunately, she was still treated as a rogue by the entire pack, including her adoptive parents. After suffering a lifetime of bullying and abuse, Eliza looks forward to graduation. Eliza's dreams of solitude and peace are interrupted when she discovers she's mated to the Alpha's son, one of the people who'd bullied her most her entire life. Determined to right his wrongs, the future Alpha does everything in his power to convince Eliza to stay, including helping her to discover more about her past and what led to her parents' death. This determination to make his mate happy leads to unexpected life events for the young couple as well as major trouble for the pack. Can these two lovers keep the pack safe while they find a way to overcome their mental and emotional challenges and maintain their commitment to truth?
This was a new to me author… I normally don’t prefer books with bullying or enemies to lovers type tropes. However, this book was so good. I don’t want to give any spoilers.
High school students. The FMC was an orphaned rogue child and was picked on throughout her life because of her status. After she shifts for the first time, she finds out her fated mate was one of the most popular few alphas. Who was also one of her biggest bullies. This story was a journey of them going from bullying to becoming true mates. A journey of them both growing up, standing up, and building up.
