She got on my last nerve with the foolishness and the assumptions she made about everything when they came for the grandmother she could’ve said she was 18 and lived in the house and got a job at 16 since when you can’t get an id until 18 and if she just would’ve told them about Jerry just maybe Ms Betty would’ve made it
I read this book in one sitting because I felt for the characters and their realness. The struggles, the angels all of it was amazing! I would love a story about Victor and his new interest!
Couldnt put this book down at all. This was a very touching and heartfelt book that I have ever read from Lady Lissa. Yes she has other touching books but this one really touched me. The struggles that Shardae went through was really hard but in the end she made it with help from Victor.
I was super happy that Langston and Shardae got back together after so many years. This was truly a beautiful love story. Victor was a godsend and such a wonderful man. He truly cared about Shardae well being and knew she was destined to do great things.
Monet was such a great friend to Shardae. The best friend that is and she kept the faith that one day they would be reunited as well. I am happy that they did.
Lady Lissa & Shelli Marie has giving us another emotional & captivating read! Shardae truly went to hell & back after losing her mother & then grandma in her teens. Scared & nobody to really turn to, she ends up in a dump that actually saves her life. After doing some unthinkable things at a young age a questionable stranger enters her life & things start turning around. Loved the fact that through it all her bestie Monet stayed a constant in her life & continued to support her childhood friends. Her & Langston's love story is definitely one for the books, but I won't give anymore spoilers. Always a good read when these two author collaborate!
This story took me through many emotions, my heart hurt for Shara when her mother died at an young age then to have tragedy come back just as things were going good. Even though things came at her fast and hard Share as kept her faith and never gave up and because of that she was sent someone who was taught to pay it forward, and to always go with your gut when it came.to people. Victor was that for her he knew when he first seen her there was something about her that tugged at his heart. Jerry got exact e what he deserve so sad that Mrs. Betty lost her life but the girls made it through and everyone.fulfilled there dreams and got their happily ever after.
Because my favorite author has done it again. Again and again. She always amazes me with her stories. You can read her books, and somehow, they will relate or inspire you. I wish I could give 100 stars for this standalone. I recommend this book to everyone. When things are at your lowest, hold on to God. He's not done with you yet. Thank you for this amazing book. I love you sissy. No, we're not blood sisters. But I'm one of her #1 fans, and that made us sisters lol.
I’m so happy that Langston and Shardee found their way back to each other that’s what you call true love and like the saying goes if you love something and you set it free if it comes back it was meant to be this book was very heart touching there needs to be more people like Victor that cares about people and will help without no string attach my favorite two Authors never disappoint
Well written, flowed well and kept my attention. Shareable really irked me when she wouldn’t talk to Langston, but I guess that was her coping mechanism. She really went through a lot at an early age but she never gave up. She definitely rose from the gutta to the big house. Victor was her personal angel and he was her biggest cheerleader. I also loved that they all got their happy endings.
Everything was truly beautiful. Only thing that bothered me was that she never went to her grandmother or her mother's grave also she never went back to visit Janice. Janice played an important part in her journey also. Overall it was as always for Lady Lissa a page turner
This book had me all over the place with these characters. It was what I love when reading it had some surprises it but the retribution was needed. It was a love story with a twist. I need another one but that not happening great job ladies of writing this.
This book was so inspirational and kept your feelings up. Putting God first and keeping faith makes everything better. We all need a Victor because he was heaven sent. This was an excellent book and a true page turner.
Omg this was a good book good from the beginning til the end leaving you wanting more I love how she went from struggling to having it all and she never gave up on herself and god a must read
Beautiful and I love a good testimonial. I thought something was going to come of that broken condom though I just found Kaylen POV pointless in the long run since she wasn’t relevant. But again BEAUTIFUL STORY LOVED IT
I enjoyed this read! Victor turned out to be an angel to Shardanae. He was a blessing. This was a true love story. Shardanae went thru hell, but ended up in heaven. After all the 2 years of being apart from her true love, they made it back to each other. Love always prevails!
Ms Lady Lissa and Shelli Marie did it once again. I really love this book it wasn’t what I expected at first but kept reading and thinking Victor is definitely a life saver to Shardae.
I skipped a lot of the book because it honestly wasn’t my cup of tea. It was drawn out, repeated itself a lot and it was the definition of young and dumb but I guess because she was a child it was supposed to be that way.
Very good book so glad that Sharman and Langston found their way back to each other. Everything she went through God prepared her for where she was at that time. Kaylin was pushy didn't like her and Jerry got what he deserved. Monet was such a good friend and Victor was heaven sent.
Great read....Shardae was definitely dealt a bad hand...I love how she met Victor and he was able to nurture and protect her....the love Langston and Shardae had for each other
This story was so good. I couldn’t stop reading it. It pulled at your heartstrings! I shed a few tears! I’m glad Shardae came out on top she deserved it.
