I've only read "Crumb to an End" from this anthology & I found it to be a cute an amusing story that has a bit of Christmas spirit & joy. When Katherine & Cole visit Cookietown, Oklahoma, they get more than they bargained for. With two explosions at the cookie plant & an unhappy plant expert who keeps everything running smoothly, it looks like it will be an unhappy Christmas for all. Can Katherine & Cole help restore Christmas joy in Cookietown or will Christmas be ruined for the whole town. This was a very amusing & engaging quick read & I have no doubt the rest of the stories in this anthology will be just as entertaining.

It's raining cinnamon and sugar!

I've only read the short Crumb to an End by Kathryn Mykel but I have no doubt the rest of the book will be just as tasty. I really enjoyed this sweet little mystery, pun intended. It's a quick read, half hour.

Katherine and Cole pull into Cookietown, OK population 98. Just before their arrival a machine blew up in the cookie factory and had been raining cinnamon and sugar all over town. I don't even wanna think about the clean up there, but at least it smelled nice!

Join the duo to find out what happens, you won't be sorry.

Crumb to an End is part of this Anthology. Katherine and Cole decide to head in the RV and come across the town of Cookietown, Oklahoma where the RV breaks down. Cookietown has the famous cookie factory that unfortunately has a malfunction. But something seems off and Katherine and Cole decide to investigate to see if someone sabotaged the factory. Join them as they put the pieces of the puzzle together to identify what happened. This was a short, enjoyable read.

I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I read Crumb To An End in the A Cookie of a Scoundrel Anthology and it was a cute short story with a very happy ending for the Oklahoma town called Cookietown where Katherine and Cole had stopped their RV due to a flat tire. I've read 1,000's of books and not one of them has ever had a scenario where a machine failure at a cookie factory caused an explosion of a cinnamon-sugar into the outside air. Suffice it to say that author Kathryn Mykel has a vivid imagination and creates a fun short read.

It’s been raining cinnamon and sugar all day. It’s how the Cookie Crumbles ,ain’t that the case ? Crumb to the end of a Christmas cookie down. Most of the authors so renown. I’ve read about Kathryn and Cole in Cookie Town ,it’s sweet bliss and so romantic. The whole things worthy of a second look. It’s a no brainer .buy the book. It has great writing and sweet boy and girl meets as well as sweet eats that are all Cookie treats.

Short and sweet!

Traveling amateur sleuths Katherine and Cole roll into Cookietown in the RV and are immediately overcome by a huge dust cloud of cinnamon sugar? When it looks like the town’s cookie factory has been sabotaged, they take the case determined to save Christmas and their vacation in this incredibly sweet snack sized cozy. I’m really looking forward to reading the other novellas in this anthology after reading Crumb to an End!

My review is of “Crumb to an End” by Kathryn Mykel. I loved Katherine and Cole’s holiday spirit and was especially delighted with all their RV decorations! This is a fun cozy mystery to enjoy during the holidays or anytime you want a taste of holiday spirit. Also the cookies sound delicious! I was happy to read an advance copy of this story and these are my personal thoughts.

This has the making of a Christmas holiday movie with a pair of unlikely sleuths, a villain, a kind and helpful lady and a curmudgeon who almost derails Christmas in a tiny village. A quick, fun read with a feel-good ending.

I received a ARC of the novella A Crumb to an end by Katherine Mykel. It is contained in this Anthology. Cute story of a small town that’s main industry is a cookie factory. Hence the town name of Cookie town. Cole and Katherine tour the factory. There are a few mishaps which set them into sleuth mode. Well written to get so much into a short novella.
