Torn Ivy

This book was so hard to put down. There's so much happening, that I just didn't want to miss anything.
Ivy finds out more about herself and her powers and oh boy....can't say more without giving away too much. Everything that her and the guys thought was going on? Well, it's even more complicated than that.
This book is action packed, full of spice and oh course Ivy's brand of sarcasm.

I just…. Holy hells bells….
There are some times I sit down with a book and think “this is gonna be like all the others”, and then I remember I’m reading an Eve Newton book and it is anything but like the others.
The ride of emotions, the thrill shifts, the mystery…. Just the plot all together… Does Eve know she’s building us our own little world we all wanna live in. Ticket please!!!

I love the growth we see with Ivy. And more importantly I love the growth with her men. That shadow daddy I mean mmmm ma’am yes please. Anywho… if you love books that keep you on your toes, never disappoint and bring you back each time then yes this is 100% for you.

Ps…. I’m not okay and I need the rest like now!!! That cliff had me feeling like Ugly Coyote after the road runner… Meemep

Eve has done it once again! She crafted a captivating tale. Book 2 of the series doesn’t disappoint, diving deeper into the paranormal world she’s created (and I love the connection to other series!!). Ivy and her men navigate a new power, a sinister plot and the reality of who the true villain is behind it all. The action is non-stop, and the passion between the characters is 🔥🔥🔥 Witnessing Tate, Torin, and Bram's unwavering loyalty and protective instincts towards Ivy is both steamy and thrilling!

Wow! That was a rose and a half! Revelations galore in this book, some of which are absolute doozies. Eve has even thrown in a bit of time travel! Amazing second book and it wouldn’t but complete without a cliffhanger. Oh, of course there’s a huge cliffhanger. Wouldn’t expect anything less. Can’t wait to see how this all works out.

I read this so fast and now I'm sitting here upset with my self with how I couldn't put it down.

This starts off with a BANG, we get to see some shady stuff going down that is circling Ivy and her men.

Ivy/Poison- she starts off being a little childish but honestly she deserves to be. I love how she grows more and more throughout the whole book. Her power ups and her power downs show how strong she really is. Love her character.

Tate- my heart shattered during a certain part in this book (HAVE TO READ IT) and I am still struggling to get my emotions back on track. The way he truly loves her and is willing to give everything up for her is seriously wild. Love him!! He can be my anchor any day...IYKYK

Torin- oh, oh, oh how the man has fallen for his obsession in the best of ways! I love how his mind works. It was crazy seeing him shatter for Ivy the way he did.

Bram- hello shady daddy! This dark prince gets hotter and hotter the more we learn about him. YOU have to see how powerful this man is to understand just what he will do for his loved ones. The snake part had me cracking up so hard!!! He is my favorite for sure!!

Vex- we only got a little time with our favorite psycho, which is fine cause I just KNOW Eve won't let him suffer for too long without us admirers.

Josh- KNEW IT!!!

Ramsey- need more of him in our lives! Love a good loyal bestie!

Cathy- she is a good aunt, even though she is different than what we first thought.

Death- I feel for him, everyone always thinks Death is the bad guy but he is just doing his job and trying to entertain himself. Sadness...

Life- screw her, not a fan!

My emotions are high with this one, if you enjoy lots of spice, dark themes, mystery, power plays and wonderful characters this is for you!!

I found this book difficult to get through. Even though it was shorter than the first one, it took longer for me to read. I think that too many of the characters talk in riddles and it is hard to follow along with that. There was also a lot happening with Ivy scattering herself across dimensions, and the guys doing the ritual to bring her back and then Tate dying and having a conversation with Death and then them having to reverse the ritual and then also reverse time. It was just a lot. I do think that it is an interesting concept and there is a lot more action and fighting in this one than in the first. I am curious to see where it goes but unfortunately, I am less curious than I was after the first one.

Wow. Just wow. I’ve called books a roller coaster ride before, but honestly this one takes the prize for the most loop de loops. It truly felt like I was on a wild ride. One I didn’t hate but didn’t love. This whole series has so much potential and I loved the first book but this one was way too fast. It’s like a cake that’s so good you just want to eat it all but then you eat it really fast and get sick instead of having one piece and savoring it. So much was packed in that you felt no control the characters. The first book was deliciously spicy and this one the poor characters are just in one crisis after another so no time much spice. That said, I’ll still be reading the third because I need to know how this crazy series ends.

a million times yes!

What a wild ride!! Ivy and her guys will not disappoint and there’s even a little Death mixed in there! Love this story and this second installment in this trilogy will leave you on the edge of your seat! Ivy learns and grows so much and so many twists and turns along the way and let’s not forget all the spicy and her guys are so yummy and delicious!! The ending to this second book will shock you and leaving you hanging and wanting more, can’t wait to see how this series ends!! A must read, and can’t wait for the next series to follow Vex!

Who would have thought I'd cry a tear for Death himself

But here I am crying because of the way this writer manages to get emotions out of me. This book had me gripped from the start and hasn't let go. I am typing my review while sniveling and through tears because I do feel for Death.
But that ending was totally surprising and I am dying to know what happens next with Ivy and her guys.
Ivy's story is surprising, deep and emotional. And I am here for every step she takes.

This is the second book in the series and each time I'm convinced it cannot get any better than the previous book but this author really has a way with words and stories. I absolutely love Ivy and the world this is set in. Now this takes twists and turns I didn't see coming at all. My favorite guy is Torin I think. His obsession is crazy I know but I gotta love that. I for sure don't wanna spoil anything other than you must read this series if you haven't already!

Be prepared to have your heart wrenched out, healed and shattered again as this book progressed.

Ivy (FMC) and the guys certainly get dragged through the wringer in this book. More so with the push and pull of Life and Death it was the relationship between Ivy and the guys that through on all the feels as well as all of the stream too. With that cliff-hanger ending I'll be counting down the days until the next book is released. I'm loving this series so much!

Torn Ivy starts exactly where book 1 ended. Eve delves deeper into this world, while making connections to other books, so be mindful of the Easter eggs!! Ivy grows so much in this book, while also struggling with parts of herself she doesn't know how to face. Bram, Tate and Torin....swoon!!! There's death, spice, and a whole lot of WTF going on in this book, with a villian you'll never see coming. I'm eagerly anticipating the next book!

Omg this series is so good!!!! This is the second book in the Thornfield Super Natural Academy. What a ride it is so far. First off I love these characters. Ivy is phenomenal. Absolutely love her as the FMC. Cannot forget the guys. Still have no favorite. ( leaning towards Torin but Bram might win for me) I just love them.
Definitely a page turner kind of book. Action packed with steam. Plus with that ending I so need the next book. Definitely my kind of story. Highly recommend reading.

Eve has this way about her writing that draws you in and makes you feel like you're right there with the characters. There was a twist I didn't see coming about who the villain really is. To save her guys, Ivy runs... but true to her life, she gets an even bigger shock when she does run and learns that running will not be the option. You think you know where she is going, but no, once again, Eve throws a curveball and tears you apart with shock. I can't wait for the next book to see what happens next!

Loved It!

What's a girl to do when she's up against Death? Embrace chaos and rely on her guys.

It was great to read about Ivy and her guys again! Torin, Tate, and Bram are possessive and dark as always. As they journey alongside Ivy on this unknown path, they find out just how entwined their fates are. For better or worse.

I'm loving this series and can't wait to read more!

Potential

I think this author has potential, but there were some definite plot holes and rushed parts to this story. We never really got to fully enjoy the different emotions each character could have pulled out of the readers
