Man this story started out with such promise but went downhill fast. The issues got steadily worse. Overall for all 5 comics I’d give it a 2. The art was starting to wear on me. It looked like the old She-Ra comics that came with the toys, except not as colorful. The cover art and its variants were more attractive than the illustrations inside by a long way.
The story was really nothing. It was stretched out throughout the whole series not saying much or getting deep into Cheetara’s character. Cheetara has visions, she wants to protect Lion-O, her and Tygra have a thing. BORING Even the action scenes were nothing. What is the Sword of Plundar and why did it destroy Thundera? They introduced this but didn’t go into it at all. Then the last part of the issue Lion-O started narrating. It came out of nowhere. Don’t waste your money on this, I’m glad I could get it from the library. As a Cheetara fan, it added nothing and was a big disappointment.
