Fighting for a Future . . .

Shelly arrives in the mountains on Sabbatical to write a book. When she goes on a hike, she injures her ankle in a fall and is rescued by Joe who makes her feel safe. The two of them are quickly attracted to each other. Shelly is a good influence on Eric and they all settle into a comfortable acceptance of each other. But when Amy brings up a custody battle to claim Eric after all these years, Joe is frantic at the thought of losing his son. But Shelly is beside him all the way and supports his legal battle. Will he keep sole custody? Will he win his case? But even then, there may be no rest for him when Alex Moretti, a very bad man from Joe’s past, has found out where Joe is. Will he put them all in danger when they literally have to run for their lives? Or is Joe ready to stop running and make a stand for the two people he loves the most? Will they finally find a peaceful future to settle down, safe, and become the family they were meant to be?

Shelley came to the mountains on a sabbatical so she could write a book. However, when she ends up hurting her ankle she meets Joe, and things start to change for her. Joe is a single father and lives in the mountain town to raise his son while he works as a trail guide. Joe is drawn to Shelley and wants to know more about her but tries to not get too close since she is supposed to leave. yet its not long before they both give into their attraction. Shelley has to decide if staying with Joe and his son is more important than her career. Will she leave when her time to go comes? Can Joe convince her to stay with them?

This is a great story that will hook you in the first chapter on. This is a well written and very entertaining story. Its a book that any book lover would enjoy.

This story takes place in the rugged mountains along snow covered paths in the midst forests that opens into peaceful surroundings where Shelly takes a sabbatical from teaching. She had no idea it would lead her to a rugged mountain man and his son and while out on a trail she stumbles and twists her ankle. Joe finds her and carries her home, and the sparks ignites drawing them into one daring adventure where trust and honesty are at the forefront especially when Joe's past comes calling and danger is around the bend. Will he be able to battle his ex and whatever is lurking out to get him while keeping Shelly and his son safe.

This is quite the office romance story, Feel the rollercoaster of emotions, the betrayal, the conniving character, the mentor, the boss, the love, the friendship. Lots of Sweet moments, sad moments, It has it all for the perfect office romance boss vs employee, the end is absolutely wonderful, I shed a few tears.A beautiful complicated relationship between those two that keep you on the edge of your seat.

This book starts out a bit slow and it kind of seems like it repeats itself in the beginning. Shelly is in the mountains trying to write a book and clear her head. Joe is a single dad to Eric his 5-year-old son who is his entire world after losing his wife. The storyline and characters pull at your heart at times. I think this is an enjoyable read and I can actually picture the mountain setting and cool temperatures.

WOW this was a great book. It was a page turner and the suspense was intense. I was on the edge of my seat and I couldn't even put it down. Joe was a father of an son name Eric. Joe ex wife left him alone to be a single father . When meet this beautiful lady in the mountain. He was intrigue with her beauty and will she get along with his son Eric. Was love in the air between them and romance.
