Olivia M. Geib (GUH-EYE-BUH) was born and raised in Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada. Though she faced adversity, it never deterred her from chasing her dreams. If anything, it taught her to dream bigger and dive deeper into each and every project she pursued. To place a little piece of her bleeding heart into every word she wrote. ​

Olivia is a neurodivergent, bisexual author whose unique ability to describe emotion, create unexpected turns, and explore uncomfortable feelings brings her novels to life. This was a book I couldn't put down. Olivia does such a great job with a unique storyline and language that I would equate to a paintbrush on canvas. I cannot wait for book 3!

I don't even know where to begin.
So, I guess I'll start with the creativeness of Olivia's brain. The way she picks up The Princess of Secrets and Shadows after leaving us with a cliffhanger in the first book (The Daughter of Fire and Fury. The imaginative details building space in my head. The twists in character dynamics that I didn't expect to happen.
As someone who is not typically a fantasy reader, I LOVED The Daughter of Fire and Fury, but The Princess of Shadows and Secrets 😳😳 it stole me.
The writing pulled me in, I was hanging on every word, and I am now left in an emotional puddle of 'how could she leave it on that cliffhanger?'
Olivia, you have created a master piece, you show it through these pages how much you are growing, and you have made me love and hate some characters.

I put off the second book in this series for sometime and I think the reason is I was afraid it would not live up to the first. I am here to tell you that it is even better than the first book a master class of writing and intrigue. I was worried when I first started the book. It seemed like some of the fire that was in book one had faded but as I continue to read and the story progressed the fire returned even better than in book one. It was an inferno of passion and hate and betrayal. The scenes between characters were brilliantly written, and truly brought to life this beautiful fantasy world. It expands on everything you could want. the relationships between the characters, the world, the lore and more. I will say now this book is not for the squeamish of heart the main character goes through hell on their journey. I could continue page after page pouring praises upon the book but I do not believe I need to. The work speaks for its self. read it and you will be shocked, wondered and horrified by this incredible story. I am so excited for book three!!!!

If I could rate more than 5 stars I would! I LOVED book 1 (The Daughter of Fire and Fury) but this book? THIS BOOK IS EVERYTHING!!! It's like if Empire of Storms and Kingdom of Ash by Sarah J Maas had a baby. And throw some cruel prince and acotar vibes in there too. The character development? AMAZING! The tension and political side of the fae world? The magiks?  EVEN MORE AMAZING!

Another thing to note is it's clear this author loves what she does and is always working to improve her writing and her craft and man did that hard work every pay off! Book 1 had great writing but this book was even better and when I say there was quote after quote of BANGERS making me feel all the emotions I'm not kidding. This book will have you eager to see what the next book will bring!

Wow what an amazing follow up to The Daughter of Fire and Fury! It literally picked up right where the first one ended. It was such an emotional roller coaster and I absolutely love the dynamics of the Inner Circle. It’s so cool to see how much Olivia has grown as a writer in this one. I am dying to know what happens in the next book after this cliffhanger. Obsessed is an understatement. Thank you so much for this opportunity and I will definitely be recommending this book all the time!

This was so amazing! The first 100 pages were a little slow but I wanted to push through because I loved the first book. I was so upset with how Raven turned out, I actually liked him a lot. Viktoryn is just a lost cause now, no way will I ever like him again. Willa is turning an even more awesome FMC, I absolutely love her. Raven did redeem himself at the end but I am still bitter. I was so shocked about May, I didn't see that coming at all. I can't wait for the next book.

Another great book by Ms. Geib. I enjoyed this book as much or more than the first. Great characters who are believable, endearing and some that make you mad. I love the storyline with its many twists and turns. Willa is such a strong character that grows and matures as she experiences joy and heartbreak. I can't wait for book three to see how everything evolves.

What an emotional rollercoaster! The Princess of Secrets and Shadows is an oh-so satisfying follow up to The Daughter of Fire and Fury. Olivia M. Geib dives deep to show how peculiar, terrifying, and splendid the Fae world can be. But Willa seems to be getting the hang of it, which I adore because there's more “folk” who deserve her vengeance. Book #3 can’t come soon enough!
