Charm had dedicated her life to being the perfect housewife to her husband Neal. As Neal continued to climb the corporate ladder, he started to neglect Charm, leaving her feeling unwanted.
Charm's friend Myra suggested a girls' trip and much-needed getaway to take Charm's mind off her current situation. While on the trip, Charm discovered that it wasn't only work that had been keeping her husband occupied. While upset about her findings, Charm unexpectedly met and fell for a handsome but thuggish stranger.
Leaving everything that happened on her trip behind, Charm went home to continue planning her anniversary and vow renewal with her husband that was set for Christmas Day.
As fate would have it, Charm ran into the man she thought she left behind and couldn't let him get away again. As secrets and betrayal unfold, Charm will have to choose between the love she's always known or taking a chance with her new love interest, and she has until Christmas Day to decide.
This book was so funny & Tony was so toxic I loved every minute of it!!
Tony was insane like dude was bat sht crazy, disrespectful & outta pocket at all times but I loved him dowwnnnn 😩😭 I loved how he didn’t play bout “butterscotch” in his gf. He swooped in & protected Camarih from her lame bf, trifling family, & anybody who thought they could come at her. He loved her down but refused to admit it.
Tony was messy with a whole herd of females he had in rotation. They were all in their feelings & he literally paid them dust!
The other characters were equally as messy but not as crazy as Tony! This book kept me laughing & ready to see what would happen next!
Oooh! This was so good I ate this book up. It was definitely a page turner that I didn’t put down until the end. Charm and Royal was magic from beginning to end the chemistry, the laughs, the romance , the spice it was there… I loved Myra and Chyna too but that damn husband to hell with him and his shenanigans…This was my first read from this author and not my last I really enjoyed this read and now to the back catalog I go
Never ever disappointed!! You out did yourself with this one. I was ready to fight Neal. Here was so wrong and disrespectful as all our doors. He honestly deserved that KARMA that was serviced to him. Darrin and Chyna, I was feeling someway because Chyna should have said something to Charm. She didn’t need her permission but it of respect she should’ve said something. Plus normally friends know that brothers are off limits and vice versa…
As for a Charm and Royal, they were meant to be off top… That chemistry of no joke and very real. I love that they show up and show out for each other. Charm to me made the best decision for her. Neal just wasn’t it and I was about to my MAD if she choice him.
I can go on and one but I’ll stop here. Thank you Queen!! Definitely can’t wait to see what’s need
I’m wondering why when I go away on trips, I come back just like I left. No Royal! Charm deserved an attentive real man like Royal. He’s no cuddly, lovey dovey type dude but Charm brings all those qualities out of him. Effortlessly too! Monte was right when he told Royal if it’s meant it’ll happen. Even Charm said if it was meant, they’d see one another again…and did! Neal fumbled a good one, but he’s not deserving of her. He actually lost more than just Charm. Royal gave Charm a choice to make. Either renew your vows and I let you go or you choose me and I’ll see you at my Birthday party…same day. She chose right. Bonnie had me in my detective mode, making all the wrong guesses. Loved this.
Bonnie gave us everything she always gives. Drama. Love. Character Development. Story line. It was all there. Charm’s husband wasn’t sh*t but she couldn’t prove it. She goes on a girls trip to Miami with her best friends and prepares to clear her mind from all the drama. Royal is in Miami on a business trip and the last thing he’s looking for is a woman. Charm rolls into his life and he soon rolls all into hers. But Charm’s husband isn’t just gonna let her go like that. This was such a good quick read and gave me all the feels.
Loved this book. Charm had me so frustrated with her because she knew the math wasn't mathing when it came to her husband's whereabouts. She was heavy on standing by her man even though she wasn't truly happy. That girl's trip was exactly what she needed. Royal was what she needed and found him on that trip to Miami. I wanted to jump in the book when everything was revealed, and Charm started moving funny. I was so mad she did Royal like that but kept letting that husband of hers slide. In the end, sis redeemed herself, but she took too long, lol. This is my first book by Bonnie Blanco, and it won't be my last.
A seemingly perfect weekend unravels into an unexpected journey of love and revelation. Charm, a devoted housewife harboring doubts about her marriage, makes a fateful phone call that introduces her to Royal. What begins as a moment of uncertainty transforms into a serendipitous encounter, weaving a tender Christmas romance that challenges her perceptions and redefines her understanding of love.
This book really had me in my feelings because I went through some of what Charm went through. Just like it was light at the end of the dark, unhappy tunnel for me, Charm got to experience that light as well from Royal. Neil was despicable trying to gaslight Charm into believing his lies and I’m glad that Charm chose real love and happiness.
This book was good from beginning to end. Love was destined for Charm and Royal. She definitely deserved it. She was a good wife for 10 years, and Neal certainly messed that up. I was proud of Darrin for stepping up and being the man he needed to be. Chyna was what he needed. Bonnie, your books are always great reads. Keep blessing us with these amazing stories.
I had a feeling that something was going on with Neal. He was wrong for doing what he did, and he expected her to take him back. I'm glad she found a man that showed her unconditional love.
Good read. Neal was out here in these streets creating life with someone else while Charm was doing all that she could for her husband and he s% on her. But Royal came in the picture and it was up from there. I loved it.
This book is messy and filled with the drama! Fast paced. What I thought was going in wasn’t what it was but it was still a whammy in the end. Great holiday read…good read whenever actually. Once again Ms. Bonnie Blanco didn’t disappoint.
Very fast paced read. Always trust your woman intuition. Lol if you think your man cheating 9/10 he probably is. Neal didn’t even lie good not that I encourage lying but still at least make it somewhat believable. Take that girls trip you just might find your husband in that trio. 🤪😂😂

Bonnie Blanco writes some of the best urban romances and I’m here for it! The whirlwind romance and the lies and secrets coming to fruition from Neal! I’m glad Charm got the happy ending!! Definitely a love story to remember!
Whew Chieeee My Nerves! This Book put Me through it! The FMC had Me screaming STAND TF UP GURLLLL! Ultimately I loved it! Definitely recommend! I loved the MMC 🙂↕️♥️😍 We love a STREET SMART SWEETHEART! ultimately the book had a happy ending & I lived for it! 🙂↕️👏🏼
This was a great book. Short, sweet and to the point. It was great from the beginning. I love the way it ended. This was definitely a great Christmas story. Great job as usual Bonnie!!!
This is a must read for a short story. I wish it would have been longer. Royal loved Charm like a man should. I loved the friendships. This is a great story.
