3.5⭐️

This is a well written book with a really great pack 😊❤️. The problem with the book is that is about 100 pages too long for the story told. Too much time was spent replaying the same thing and it got boring.

The events at the end were super intriguing. I will definitely read the other 2 omegas books to see what happened, and to get resolution to the story arc.

2.5 ⭐️’s Rushed and simplified ending, major letdown!

I struggled in places with this one.

For the most parts, this was beautifully and well written.
Many of the early issues I had with it, are a matter of personal preference.

While I love good detail and reading internal thoughts, I also want good pacing.
There is so much flowery and descriptive words within their internal thoughts, it sometimes takes several pages to have a simple conversation.

When spread throughout a story, and used sparingly, this is beautiful and heartfelt.
But when used for every single thought and setup, often repeating previously stated information… it drags a story out, throwing off the pace.
At least for me.

The first 2/3’s of this was really well written in regards to world building, character introduction, and the treatment of the FMC’s trauma story, reaction and responses.

But then in the last 1/3rd, it’s like the author was ready to move on, and just rushed it all through.
Where the FMC had previously been so terrified to speak, move, request, etc.
Now suddenly everything is good with her pack, so she’s suddenly no longer traumatised or scared… 🤔

While the author recognises one of the MMC’s requires counselling to overcome survivors guilt and trauma from a past incident (both previously and now), the FMC doesn’t???
In fact, she’s helping other traumatised victims, after only a couple of weeks of ‘healing’ in her packs company… WTF?

Yeeaaah, I skipped over much of the last 1/3rd, except for the culminating action scenes.

I want to read the next book, because I want to find out how the overall, interconnecting story progresses.
But suspect I will skim more than I read.

If not for those last parts, I would say this is simply a style preference that doesn’t work for me and rate it at 3⭐️’s - 3 1/2⭐️’s, but that rushed ending and major personality change in the FMC, was a serious let down after all the earlier work.

I have a self-imposed ban on reading any book that includes the words "knot" or "pucking" because it's low hanging fruit, ya know. And the books are usually predictable and full of errors. But I broke that ban with this book because I had hopes that this would be the one FMC that held strong in her beliefs as an Omega. I should have known better; I should have stuck with the ban.

There is nothing unique or noteworthy about this book. The FMC comes from a troubled place that hates Omegas, she escapes, her suppressants run out (oh no! Who saw that coming?) and bam! she finds her scent matches and she is magically healed from 5+ years of abuse over two weeks. Oh and, the world gets saved. *rolls eyes* This is the same plot that cane be found in any other Omega + schooling novel.

The author does SOOOOO much telling and not enough showing, and then decides to summarize the same conversation and observations chapter after chapter. This book could have easily been 200 pages.

Most wet paper towels are stronger in their belief system than this FMC.

The MMC's have no distinct personality. The one MMC has to stay away from the FMC because of [insert dumb reason here] and is magically fixed after one boxing session.

There are A LOT of plot holes and general inconsistencies throughout this book. The first major one, the MMC's state that they back legislation to bring rights back to Omegas. Yet, they don't do anything proactive about it. They also believe that Omegas should have the right to choose anything they wish. Yet, they go back on that "revolutionary" thinking by not giving the omega choice in what to wear, what she should eat, when she should eat, almost never calling her by her name (only by designation)having her beg for anything sexual, and the greatest crime is when they infantilize her with her dumbass nicknames. Another inconsistency that was very prominent is with the MMC's inability to form a complete sentence. The author is trying to get us to believe that these three MC's, who own a billion dollar company, are unable to complete a full sentence or thought? They also don't listen to their instincts when it comes to Elliot even when they lecture the FMC on how she should listen to her instincts. The FMC's body also showcased another plot inconsistency: she went from skin and bones, being able to count the vertebrae on her spine, collarbone sticking out; then magically, two weeks later one of the MMC's says that she "has curves in all the right places." IN TWO WEEKS? But that is later cleared up by a different MC when he says "she is still too skinny." Well, which one is it?

Maybe the rules how how to format terms of endearments are different where the author lives, but in most cases terms of endearment are not capitalized unless their placement in a sentence warrants it.
Correct: "Here, drink this sweetheart."
Not correct: "Here, drink this Sweetheart."

The author chose the latter when using the dumbass nicknames for the FMC: Sweetness, Baby Girl, Little One, and Little Mouse. *rolls eyes* Really? Little one and baby girl? Or anything "little?" They treat her like such a child that it almost makes me wonder if the MCs have a problem with the FMC being 23-25 years old. The author credits three editors for this book, but how did they allow such flagrant abuse of ellipses, commas and hypes to pass the final round of edits? There are over 270 errors, from incorrect capitalization, to egergerious (and incorrect) ellipses use, and many comma splices all of which have been reported to Amazon.

Unfortunately, this author chose to use deceptive book stuffing practices for this novel. Each chapter begins with an image and the chapter title that takes up either ALL of that page or 95% of the page leaving a lot of white and unused space. So, on Amazon the page number is listed at 397, but due to the way that the author chose to book stuff, the page count should really be around 340-345 pages.

Because of the chapter book stuffing, formatting errors and grammar issues, I reported the full book to Amazon due to low quality.

This falls in that middle ground of Omegaverse. Personally, I'm not a fan of the politicized romance novels. Even in fictional worlds, I read escapist books to get away from that crap. And in omega worlds, they're all the same: The evil men in charge are stripping the rights from the poor, defenseless omegas, and all men are evil and the misogyny is off the charts. Oh, but this description won't apply to the billionaire pack with a lot of power and influence where the omega happens to fall into their nest.

This one falls in the 'dime a dozen' category. The overworked omega who is spending every penny on blackmarket suppressants and working herself to death (literally), when her job takes her directly into the path of her scent mates.

Sometimes that works, sometimes it doesn't. This time?

Frankly, I got bored of the same old, same old. She was abused by a shadow organization with a legitimate front, but that's almost circling in the air, and just as tangible for all the weight it had. They saw her scars and want to punish those who hurt her. Sure, I'm all for that. But I felt like the majority of the book was just them tiptoeing around her, asking for consent to everything ad nauseam. Yes, consent is good, especially for someone traumatized, but at some point, maybe acknowledge that she's out of her mind with pain and you're prolonging it.

It made the love scenes SO boring. "May I touch you, Omega?" "May I kiss you?" "May I? Your words. I need to hear your words." May I touch you here? Is this okay? Tell us what you need." "May I come near you?" "May I come closer?" "May I touch your breast?" "May I come in and get it for you?"

Those aren't even all the direct quotes with that same theme, just the ones found when doing a search of the words "May I."

And for someone who has been surviving on her own for several years, she's not the brightest bulb. She was raised with parents - they died after she'd reached adulthood, so she should've gotten the memo not to go anywhere with strangers. Especially when her mates are talking to the police about the very dangerous organization with tentacles that could be after you, and a strange man enters the apartment and says come with him because her mates sent him. And she goes.

I also didn't like the plot holes. The pack is supposed to control the vast majority of this world's suppressants, yet a single senator is standing in their way on how to market their own creation? Yeah, that's not how it works. Even in fictional world, that is a thin excuse. This was not a government run company, so legislation on the amount of the product is flimsy. The product, itself, sure - that would be mildly believable. But regulating the number of pills that a privately owned company can release and what the price will be? Lame. And even then, they don't seem to do anything about it, except have a single conversation with the senator about backing their ideas.

Politics and romance - it's an oxymoron.

The biggest problem is that there is nothing unique at all about this book. I finished it two days ago and I had to go back and read the summary to refresh my memory of what it was about. I like recycling, and every plot is recycled for any and all books, but the details matter.

The details here just weren't that great.

I always love Omegaverse books and this one is definitely one of the ones I found myself enjoying. The guys are all huge major consent kings and I love it.

Our FMC has been through so much and has to learn what it truly is to be an omega and come into her own. She's never had the chance to be.... her. I love watching her start to come out of her shell and embrace her instincts and nature.

There's definitely moments in the story that made me tear up as both the pack learns about what she has been through and just her learning about her and everything. If you're looking for a story that has pain, depth, love and loss and handling grief, while also having to cope with trauma and such I highly recommend it. I'm definitely going to be reading the other books.

The story was good. I loved how patient and caring g the Alphas were to her. There was definitely some repetion that wasn't necessary. For what was written it was too long and could have definitely been trimmed down.

went in knowing this was some omegaverse smut so didn’t have a high expectations (first 80% was fine for me). However, the plot holes / illogic in the book (especially towards the end) made the reading experience dissatisfying, hence the 3 stars.

‘Powerful’ MMCs - yeah, right!!
1. The MMCs run this big company that is the only one in the world (or at the very least, America) who sells omega scent suppressants. Now, this medication is supposedly in big demand as well but, they are all powerless in the face of this ONE politician?? Surely with their money, business connections and ‘power’, they could actually influence a great deal more than was implied in the books??

Now, I’m not American and am unfamiliar with the American political system, but it seemed to me that the villain/politician wasn’t even some senior minister or particularly powerful politician - I think she was a senator or something and when I googled what a senator was, it was just someone who represents a constituency? Like an MP in the UK or Singapore?

Run in with the villain
So at the beginning of the book, whenever the MMCs had to work, they would always assign someone to stay at home to take care of Mira cause, ya know, she’s a poor traumatised Omega. Hell, even when Cole was meh/scared/guilty/cold towards her, they still left with him with her cause SOMEONE had to be with her at all times.

As always, love prevails and they had group sex -> Mira confessed all the trauma and torture she went through -> literally told MMCs “IF THE BADDIES FIND ME, THEY WILL OFF ME”. And then what do the MMCs do? All three of them go off to the police station to make a report, leaving le smol, weak omega alone. Wtf?? Just made no sense 🤷🏻‍♀️. Author probably did this to make it possible to have a run in with the villains and create the book’s climax, but it just felt like sloppy writing tbh.

Last few scenes went on and on
I liked the spice in the book. But maybe I got bored of it after a while because I skipped all 3 chapters of the bonding scene?? I didn’t read them but I dunno, felt like it could have all been written in just one chapter??

Also, nothing much really happened at the police station and I felt there was a bit too much small talk at the beginning. MMCs seemed a bit too calm and patient when they were relaying the info to the detective - if this was such big news and you left your omega at home alone, wouldn’t you be anxious to spill the beans and get back to her as soon as possible??

I think the next book features the detective and the author wanted to give readers an intro to him hence the small talk and such but I dunno, didn’t feel like it was a seamless intro.

All in all, it would have been an okay smut if there weren’t so many plot holes. It’s less than satisfactory because of them and I took away a star (4 stars is my default)

The ending dragged. I've read a Charmaine Ross reverse harem series before and kind of liked the world building/spiritual ideas and found the stories entertaining, but the three guys tended to blend in my brain. Couldn't tell them apart in their own book, and the male harem characters in the first book were pretty much the same as the ones in the second and third. Not that the women were stunningly distinct either, but that's less of a deal when there's only one of them per story. I am, after all, a big fan of Jayne Ann Krenta and Grace Livingston Hill, both of whom tend to reuse couples, just slapping on a new name and backstory.

The 3 guys in this story were slightly more distinct, so that was nice, but the pacing was not great. As the story progressed the plot seemed to slow down and included too much deep depth description on concepts already introduced and explored (a loooong passage on nesting, for instance). Some of the emotional stuff went on too long as well. And there were too many pointless sex scenes. I mean, if you want to write smut, then write smut. I may not read it, but I also won't complain about it. But if you're writing a romance with a complicated and potentially interesting plot, then the sex scenes need to accomplish something a bit more than just titillation and assuring the reader that the characters are really into each other.

Sex scenes with emotional conflict can work quite well, but IMHO the end of the book celebration sex scenes, where hero and heroine are on the same page and the conflict eliminated, need to be kept pretty short or they are deadly dull. I enjoyed the story as a whole, with some caveats, but while books with bad openings don't get read, books that fall apart toward the end leave a bad taste in the mouth.

But I'm still going to read the next book in the series. Charmaine Ross may not be particularly original and she may not be a literary (or even romance author) genius, but I have a high tolerance for her brand of angsty sap and now and then her books really hit the spot.

This is the first book in the BrokenVerse series, and while technically a standalone focused on one FMC and her potential pack, there is progression from book to book in the overall story line of the universe.

Tropes and themes include:
✨Why choose (mfmm)
✨Omegaverse
✨Scent matches
✨Fated mates
✨Traumatized omega
✨Hurt/comfort
✨Hidden designation
✨Touch her and die
✨Caring alphas
✨Emergency heat

Rating: 4.5/5 Stars 3/5 Flames
Nicknames: Little One, Baby Girl, Sweetness

The Lovely: Awwww! I love the heartbreak and healing in this story as the FMC tries to understand her new circumstances. That’s hard when you’ve only known one thing the past 10-ish years. The consent-king MMCs are sweet and patient, but also utterly obsessed with the FMC (well, maybe all but one 😉). I loved how they interacted with her in such a way to give her control and time, something she needed.

The Mundane: The pacing of this felt a bit off to me. It seemed slow to start and then the ending was rushed. There are a lot of inner monologues, not just from the FMC but from the MMCs as well, which I think contributed to the feeling of the slow pacing (versus say, if there was dialogue).

Recommendation: This is another Mood Read May read (number 9 maybe?) and I was looking for some angsty dark omegaverse. This definitely filled the order as my heart broke for the FMC multiple times at what she had experienced and how that colored her current feelings about her situation. I will definitely be reading more in this series. If you’re looking for a hurt/comfort heavy dark omegaverse with a caring and patient pack, I think you would like this book.

Trigger Warnings:
- Physical abuse (& maybe sexual abuse i forgot) (in character’s past)
- Death outside of harem
- Human trafficking
- Attempted kidnapping
- Physical assault

Characters:
- Mira: FMC, omega, traumatized
MMCs: Own Pinnacle Therapeutics, the only company to manufacture heat suppressants for omegas legally
- Adrian: prime alpha, the usual calm, controlled, assertive one
- Zane: alpha, the sweet one
- Cole: alpha, traumatic past, can cook

Pet Names:
Little One, Baby Girl, Little Mouse, Sweetness

Tropes & Other:
- Fated Mates
- Pre-established Harem
- Rich MMCs / Traumatized Poor FMC
- Human Omegaverse
- Praise kink (a lot)
- 1st Person Multi POV

Some general information about the world:
- knotting, claiming bites, and alpha bark/voice are all present but alpha bark is only used once by non-MMC
- Omegas can only get heat suppressants legally with the permission of an alpha
-

General Thoughts:
It’s a very a typical yet sweet omegaverse story with a traumatized FMC and MMCs, who are trying to help her heal. Like many omegaverse stories, this book is pretty feminist with the big issue being how the government treats omegas and topics such as birth control management, the pharmaceutical industry, and her body her choice. The MMCs didn't have complex personalities, but I didn't have any issues with distinguishing who was talking.

DNF 63%

I remembered the sunken cost fallacy mid-way through and realized this just wasn't it for me.

It's okayyyyyyy. I think the FMC was written inconsistently. I feel like she was intended to be traumatized and willing to fight to not experience that again, but it kept getting lost. Sometimes she was super sticking to her guns and willing to fight, but then she was very much an Omega's place is serving her Alphas. Which I get was supposed to be a trauma response, but it just came across as not a fully flushed out character and didn't allow the story to naturally progress.

I do think the male characters were written well though. However, Cole was the only one that seemed fully built out. The other two sort of blended together for me, kind of written as the same person in just different fonts.

My largest complaint is that it was just mild. Like you introduce a character with HUGE trauma, in a real shit place in life, and a clear villain...you would think it would progress pretty well or have some high interest points. But over halfway through it was the exact same as it was 15% in. I'm guessing that last 20% is where it picks up?

Not for me, might be for you though.

Break Me Knot by Charmaine Ross fed my addiction and then some. Do I have a problem? Yes. Do I want help? Absolutely not.

Mira is a hidden Omega, scraping by in poverty just to afford the suppressants that mask her scent. She's doing everything she can to survive under the government's radar—because if they catch her, it’s back to the Omega Institute, where they will sell her at auction to the highest bidder.

But of course, when the suppressants run out and her heat hits like a freight train, she just so happens to stumble into three (yes, THREE) insanely rich, alpha-scent-matched mates. Who saw that coming?? Oh, I did. We always see it coming in omegaverses… and yet, I still gasped like it was brand new. 😂🐺🐺🐺 Predictable? Yes. Do I love it every single time? Also yes.

Adrian, Zane, and Cole are ready to risk it all to keep her safe and melt the trauma-forged walls Mira built after her time in the horrific Omega Institute. But can love (and a little knotting 😉) really save her from the darkness chasing them?

Cue the dramatic music: DUN DUN DUN.

If you're into steamy Omegaverse with protective alpha energy, slow-burn trust-building, and the perfect balance of heartache and heat, this one's for you. 🔥

It was alright

H: Adriane, Zane, Cole- bonded pack (Alphas)
h: Miranda Jensen aka Mira (Omega)
This is a very very slow burn, like there are probably 15 chapters of them all living together and her denying their bond. It got a little repetitive. I get why she is like that. Once you get your designation (that says you are an omega) you are registered and taken to a place called "Haven" who is supposed to train omegas on how to treat Alphas but instead of helping they actually abuse you. She was able to escape with a group of her friends (Emma and Leah) they separated in an attempt to give a better chance of survival.
Chapter 32 (page 246 out of 384) 64% and she still hasn't accepted them as mates and don't even get me started on Cole. He apparently lost his scented mate when he was younger and he feels responsible for her death. He needs to get over it. I can understand a couple chapters or feeling sorry for himself BUT to pretty much abandon his true mate, putting his own feelings 1st before hers is not that heard of .
Finally chapter 40 pg 314 (81%) She finally accepted them as mates and she told them everything she went through. The rest is very predictable. Bad guys got her, good  guys safed her and won.

Overall I enjoyed this - it plays to my favorite omegaverse dynamic (sweet scent match romance with a traumatized/hesitant omega in danger, lots of self discovery) - and the pack here is super sweet. I also liked a smaller pack (only three guys) and one of them had his own issues that he works through once he's scent matched to her. The story is pretty straight forward with a bit of drama at the end, but for the most part it's just the pack earning her trust in all the sweet ways and it's pretty gentle overall. The spice is a bit meh/vanilla- and after I read a scene or two they felt all the same, but it was solidly enjoyable. The writing style is SUPER meta- there is a lot of internal POV and thinking here, and at times repetitively so. So it did make it start to drag in places where I just wanted more action/dialogue/progress so I found myself skimming near the end, even though I do prefer a more meta story in general. All in all, I liked it enough and am excited to continue the series. Rounding up to a 4 just because I did feel pretty glued to it and read it in two sittings.

2.5 Stars – DNF @ 77%

I DNF’d this book at 77%, right after the omega had sex with her fated, scent-matched alpha—the same alpha who has been rejecting her constantly throughout the entire book.

This traumatized omega gives her body to a man who’s done nothing but add to her pain, fear, and suffering. He hasn’t made a single redeeming gesture—and suddenly, everything is forgiven because he changed his mind? It felt wrong. It felt gross, honestly.

Worse still, it’s 77% into the story and the omega is still planning to run. She’s still completely traumatized and barely showing any real signs of improvement. So the fact that she suddenly accepts that alpha doesn’t fit with the rest of the story—or with her trauma progress.

She’s barely comfortable with the alphas who’ve been loving, gentle, and patient with her. But she just… accepts the cruel one? No lead-up? No redemption arc? No moment where he earns trust or even tries to prove he’s changed?

It doesn’t make sense. I hate it.

Mira, Adrian, Zane & Cole

Wow - such a good omegaverse story that was way darker than I thought it was going to be! The hurt/comfort moments were both devastating and everything I wanted from the alphas - Adrian, Zane, and Cole. Knowing from the blurb that they were scent-matched mates to our FMC, Mira, I was giddy for the moment they crossed paths.- and it did not disappoint! I felt like Mira's healing journey was represented in a really realistic way - despite being with her mates, she wasn't easily convinced that that was where she should stay. Things progressed slowly, but much more naturally. As the book progressed, I got more and more anxious because I just knew something was going to down and I was terrified! I had to keep reminding myself that it was going to be a HEA because my nerves couldn't take it, apparently! What a way to end their story with leading in perfectly to the next standalone in the series!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5/🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️

This was a really well written book that tackles a lot of dark subject matter but in a way that does feel heavy.
Our FMC escapes from a government facility that “helps” omegas (really just taking away their autonomy) but secretly is the front for an omega farm where they are bought right before their first heat and forcefully claimed.
Mira and her two friends escape but have to split up for the best chance at safety.
Mira is so complex and so closed off that when she meets her scent matches she doesn’t even known it.
Each of the three guys are so different but work so well together. Each character is written with a distinct personality that contributes to the overall healthy dynamic of the pack.
I loved reading Mira’s story, even the tough scenes were very well written. I’m looking forward to Emma’s story!

Maybe 3.5 stars for book one and 4 stars for book two? Not sure how to rate this exactly. This wasn't quite what I expected and honestly that is a good thing and I was immediately relieved and kept reading. I initially thought i was going to dnf book one.

But this is still a darker romance book and I'm not sure how to feel about that since I usually like fluffier books. So I think part of my issues with this series at the start are more me having issues with the seriousness of the topics and less about the book or how the book handles the topics.

I'm not sure i am entirely in the right mental space to fully appreciate this series.

Having binge read books one and two i can say for sure I enjoyed book two more and I am hoping the release date for book three is accurate and I can read it tomorrow because I am now invested in what happens next.

Mira is an Omega in hiding, and her time is up. After escaping from horrific abuse at an Omega institute, Mira masqueraded as a beta by taking illegal heat suppressants. When she runs out, she starts going into heat in the middle of an office full of alphas. Adrian, Zane, and Cole aren't looking for an Omega, but the second her scent hits them, they know nothing will be the same.
You will feel every emotion with this book. I love how it wasn't a love at first sight, smell maybe, but not sight. The MMCs took time to get to know her. They let Mira set the pace. They understood she has trauma, and they didn't push. The underlying tension of who she is running from didn't run the story, but it played a big part. I am excited to read the rest of the series.

These alphas are so dense. They are completely oblivious to all the most obvious answer to what their omega has gone through. Which was infuriating, and really took away from the story for me.

On top of that the story is pretty generic, nothing about it really stood out. We have billionaire alphas that are "fighting" for omega rights but at the same time accomplishing absolutely NOTHING. Shocker.

The s3x scenes were so cringe. If you have to ask if the girl is okay every other second (LITERALLY), then she isn't f*cking ready. Jfc. As someone that has their own trauma I appreciate the patience but there is such a thing as too much. No way would she stay in the mood, if she was even capable because with all their damn QUESTIONS how could s3x be on the brain?

I enjoyed this story very much. I discovered these ‘Pack’ mentality books, a year or so ago, maybe more, and I love this version of the Alpha/Omega/Pack dynamics. It is so intense! This story, once again, didn’t disappoint! The story between mates was so lifelike in their feelings, actions, everything. The only reason that I didn’t give it a 5, was because there were sections of the story, or the characters POV, that went on too long I felt. To me, it felt like there was just too much of their thoughts that were saying the same thing in different words over and over in the same chapter. Like over 2-3 pages. It was too much detail I guess I would say. Other than that, it was a great book, that I would recommend, for anyone who loves a ‘pack’ sexy read!!🔥

My new obsession is omegaverse RH. I love a good book with mystery, suspense, a little drama and romance galore. Break Me Knot had everything I enjoy in a romance book. Did their relationship and romance overpower the mystery aspect? Yes it did but guess what that’s what I love. I love love and romance with emotion and suspense weaved throughout.

Break Me Knot was filled with some dark elements, emotion and heart. The characters had depth and connections more than the intimate moments. Could the story have been shorter? Absolutely. But I was okay with the way it was written and progressed.

I’m invested in the characters and their happily ever afters and all the damn evil people to get what they deserve. I can’t wait to start the second book.

DNF: 34%

So I hadn't realised this was part of a trilogy and I read Chain Me Knot first a while ago.

Having done so, some of this is a little repetitive for me, but that's not my big issue right now.

Basically Mira was mistreated by the organisation that was supposed to protect her because they are corrupt. Therefore, since she escaped two years ago, she's been hiding in fear of being sent back, or being claimed by ill intentioned alphas.

At this point, she's just survived her heat with her scent matches who happened upon her just as it started, and despite that they were kind to her throughout, and continuously asked for consent AND didn't bite her - she doesn't trust them and...

I'm bored knowing how this is going to play out because I read the later book.

An omega hidind as a beta trying to evade the clutches of the Haven institute until her suppressants fail, exposing her to a cruel society.
Auctioned, she's swept away by three dominant alphas that claim she's their perfect scent match.
But the Haven institute won't give up so easily....
The theme is not original but Charmaine Ross knew how to keep the reader in a full engagement adding explosive chemistry between the characters, healing through love and three dominant Mmcs that do everything to protect their omega.
If you like your omegaverse full of heat, damaged characters ,hurt/confort and touch her and die vibes, this book is perfect for you!

Oh the trauma! 😕

Mira experienced some HORRIFIC things at what was supposed to be a safe place for omegas to go to after presenting. She and her 2 friends escaped and she’s been hiding and barely living for a couple years since.

Adrian, Zane and Cole find her, realize she’s their mate BUT she’s been so traumatized that she can’t see it. Plus Cole has his own past trauma that he holds onto, keeping him from what he can have now.

I thought the author did a great job NOT making this insta-love and showing that working through trauma is not an easy or quick fix! The guys were great (even Cole) and I look forward to book 2!

A really great omegaverse story!

I started reading omega verse when it was still fanfiction and have been delighted that it has gone more mainstream. But I find myself falling into the same pitfalls over and over. Not to yuck anybody’s Yum, but some omega versus books are not just graphic, they just take things too far for me.

I feel like this would be a great book for anybody wanting to start reading omega verse because it has some of the most popular tropes, follows the omega/alpha formula, and still has enough spice to scratch that itch too.

Can’t wait for the next book!
