Embark on a legendary narrative journey with "Heartlands," a new 5-part audio novella written by Adam Christopher and narrated by Chris Metzen.
Chapter 1: After the fall of Dalaran, Jaina and Thrall summon leaders of the Horde and Alliance to Boralus to muster a fighting force that can defeat Xal’atath.
Chapter 2: Thrall and Jaina are given a chilling reception at Stromgarde, and Jaina is offered an ultimatum from its regent.
Chapter 3: At Hammerfall, Thrall engages in a heated argument with Geya’rah that leads to an unexpected revelation.
Chapter 4: As Thrall and Geya’rah reconcile, Marran Trollbane marches the 7th Legion Auxiliary in an attack on the Mag’har.
Chapter 5: The Arathi Highlands fall into chaos as the 7th Legion and Kor’kron do battle. But far from the fighting, Geya’rah sees plainly the struggles of Stromgarde, and decides on a new course of action.

I’ve been loving the supplementary lore The War Within expansion has been getting. Having listened to the audiobook version, I really enjoyed Chris Metzen’s narration, specially when voicing Thrall of course. The new Arathi Highlands lore is very welcome and interesting, seeing two points of view from the Stromic Humans and Mag’har Orcs is what I’ve always loved about WoW’s ‘two factions and two sides of a story’ style of storytelling. Can’t wait to see what they do with this story in future patches.
