At twenty, I was my father’s prized possession, sheltered and obedient. But when he promised me to Viktor Sokolov—a man fifteen years my senior and as feared as he was respected—my life became a dark gamble.
Viktor was ruthless, a cold enforcer with a history drenched in blood and betrayal. His eyes burned with unspoken torment, and his touch was both a promise of pain and pleasure. I was thrust into a marriage that bound me not just to a man but to a world where trust was scarce, and survival meant playing by brutal rules.
He said I was his, that there was no escape. I fought him at every turn, but the fire between us couldn’t be denied. And when I discovered I was carrying his child, the stakes turned deadly. As secrets from Viktor’s past surfaced, so did the enemies that threatened to tear us apart. He’d claim me as his queen, but only if he could conquer the darkness that ruled him.
Would his demons destroy us both, or would I find a way to tame the beast before it was too late?
The Bratva doesn’t forgive, and it never forgets. In this world, only the strong survive—claimed, tested, and bound to men who bend the world to their will.
Great story with interesting main characters. Viktor Sokolov was so much more than he appeared at first. Ana. Ah, Ana that girl had steel in her that people just didn't see coming. Something that they WILL regret when it comes to underestimating her ! Even Viktor is stunned by how fierce she can become. Irina, was another person in the story that I liked although she brought some sudden surprises too ! Geraldo now there is one man you really have to watch out for. More dangerous than anyone had suspected. There is definite heat in this story but plenty of twists turns and surprises that kept me totally in. Ana's father had a sad surprise for her. But the story comes to a great ending and I would definitely read it again
OMG 😱it was a steamy page turner and the suspense was intense. I was on the edge of my seat and I couldn’t even put it down literally. It was addicted. She needs a way out of her father control. She wanted freedom and lived life. When she ran into him it was undeniable love connection between them sparks had ignited as hearts and souls was connected. And they couldn’t fight temptation any longer. Danger , love, romance, and passion. I was definitely recommend this book and you won’t regret reading or be disappointed. I received advance copy of this book via Bookfunnel and am voluntarily leaving my honest opinion. Trina Jones
Ana and Viktor are married as an arrangement that she is not party to, her father is the love of her life and she discovers the reason for his secrecy but it fails to ease the pain of loss.
During her time with Viktor they form a truly unlikely relationship, she loves him so deeply and yet it is only when he nearly w it all that he realises he has already found his happy ever after he simply has to be determined and hold on.
Ana is the daughter of a mafia don. She lost her mother at a very early age age. Her father informs her she is getting married and Ana is not happy about leaving her father but he insists it’s for her own good. In walks her future husband Victor. He’s late and apologizes. They are married and she is taken straight to Vitors home. He assigns a maid to help her. This was an awesome book. Great characters and storyline. Can’t wait for the next book
I was really looking forward to reading this book the cover art and the blurb were great. But I just could not get into this book it the dialogue was so childish for a Mafia book. Knock knock jokes seriously. Quotes from the book oh shut up bro he Giggles following me the use of words like jerkface made the book subpar. I didn't waste my time finishing it.
I kept waiting for Ana to come to her senses. She had a moment where she came off as fiercely strong and bad ass. But the constant pushback with victor made me want to tear my hair out.
La primera escena intima que tienen el estaba borracho y la llama por el nombre de su antiguo amor y ella como si nada. El es insoportable y simplemente un bipolar. Y ella la típica chica que no se quiere.
This was not a typical mafia story. This story lacked fight and fury of a boss. Everyone was so loving and friendly. The fight scenes were not so real. Who hears of a mafia boss crying and begging for someone else life and not just taking down the enemy. Too worldly for me even goes to court! Wow! A real first for me.
