A Goon for Christmas was EVERYTHNG! That Ginger gave Legend a run for his money. While he was falling in love at first sight, she was like aht aht! Ginger was not impressed with Legend at all. She could care less about his money and status. Everything about Legend was off-putting for Ginger. Especially his Mt. Rushmore sized ego so, he was a hard no for her from the day she curved him in the club. Luckily, fate and Grandpa Sneaux had other plans for these two. Fast forward a year later and Ginger finds herself doing community service at a community center that's run by the Sneaux family. Legend utilizes his time wisely with Ginger and immediately starts to romance her. The love journey these two embark on is romantic and heartbreaking. Legend has to prove to Ginger he can be the man she deserves. His persistence in pursuing her was adorable and she fought him every step of the way until she finally accepted her fate with this man and couldn't fight anymore. She almost let her family and her insecurities miss out on what was meant for her but, the Sneaux family rallied around Ginger and showed her the love and loyalty she never received from her own family. Oh, and I absolutely loved when Lauren beat Avery's azz in that bathroom. That was definitely the highlight of the book for me because, Avery earned that beatdown. A Goon for Christmas was an absolute joy to read. It was sweet, romantic, and sexy with just enough drama to keep you on the edge of your seat. Legend was relentless in his pursuit and got his woman. You love to see is.

Legend & Ginger if you don’t let this man love you! 🥺
A goon from Christmas , Legend was definitely a Goon and he would do anything to protect the ones he love!! To watch him fall head over heels from ginger just from one encounter then to have a full circle moment ! Chile….. GIN just needed a lot of TLC, heavy on being conditioned to think one way but you know in your heart you deserve better and more! & Legend prove that 10x over and I loved that he wasn’t letting up even though she was being so difficult 🙄 like girl! But that didn’t take away my enjoyment of this book!
Mr & Mrs Sneaux & the girls was all that and more! ❤️

Ginger x Legend
M. Monique sure knows how to write a story. Legend is an acquired taste. Though he's not my type of guy, he was still that dude. That man was head over heels in love with Ginger. Dude literally out here catching bodies for that girl. Didn't matter who it was, he was out here risking it all. When Ginger said her family was dysfunctional and broken, sis wasn't playing. It be your own people too, smh!! I loved watching her letting her walls down. She fought her feelings for Legend as long as she could. I loved her. This story was quite enjoyable. It's not very Christmassy like I expected but it was filled sappy "goon" love I guess you could say.

Awwwnn, I love Ginger & Sneaux!!!
This was toooo cute! Sneaux did not play about getting the woman he wanted! After their very first interaction he knew he had to have her! Them running into each other again was exactly what he needed to go after what he wanted & he did just that!
Gin was a tough nut to crack! She was determined not to give into Sneaux & his arrogant demeanor didn’t make it any better 😂 I loved the way he was ready to risk it all to have her! He said she would be his wife from the day they met & he stood on business about her & their future life together!
I loved the dynamic of his family! They were literally the true definition of love & loyalty!! The conversation his grandfather had with ginger took me by surprise but made me love his family even more! They were really all in for each other!
This is a must read & perfect for the holiday season!

Legend knew exactly what he wanted and that was Ginger. No matter how hard she tried to fight it, he was not giving up. Avery was dumb and she needed to just go on about her business. I would love to see Legend and Ginger for all of the holidays.

I’m going to keep it real , “A Goon For Christmas” had me in a chokehold and I begged to stay captive. This book isn’t my first read by this author but I connected with this story and it gave me everything that I wanted in a storyline, a main MC and a couple. I mean, organized crime featuring a Black family? Even though we just got sprinkles of how the family operated, I felt the loyalty and the respect and I loved it. It had me gushing to my book bae’s telling them to read this book . I enjoyed it that much. To see a man of Legend’s caliber confidently and sincerely pursue ginger without holding anything back had me smiling on the inside while reading. Ginger isn’t 100% feeling the situation due to insecurities and past hurts but Legend is a man who get’s what he wants and his persistence pays off. He doesn’t play AT ALL when it comes to Ginger. He is checking/unaliving anyone who threatens their bubble of happiness and I love that shit! This book is the perfect example of “When you know, you just know” and Legend is definitely one of my compassionate gangsta’s. I loved the characters, their chemistry and their journey to forever. If you are looking for a sweet and intriguing story with drama and complicated family dynamics, you should definitely pick this up. I’m praying the author gives us an update of this couple as Legend takes the throne in his family! I love this book so much y’all 🥺🥺🥺.

This legit was about to be 5 stars for me! BUT! Our FMC, Ginger!!! Just had to go and be the typical black FMC, acting foolish and what not. Overthinking things that were clearly made plain several times over. Ouuu she pissed me off so bad. I had to get up and walk it off. LMAO! 😂 Had me holding conversations with my ceiling fan. Like “Is she serious” or “bffr “ lol. Jokes aside M. Monique is a savage at this here writing game. I have not yet read a book from her that I disliked. 10/10 recommend the book and the author. 🖤

Ok Legend!!!!!!🔥🔥🔥🔥 I love the men in M. Monique’s books!! They put the “A” in Alpha and “B” in BDE 🤣🤭. Let’s not get it twisted though because Ginger was not for play either! Despite her trash family, she really did have a pure heart and once Legend broke down her wall it was all she wrote! I had a feeling someone from his team orchestrated their reunion! Come through Poppa!!!👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽Bravo!

I loved how the Sneaux family held down their own and between the grandpa and the Legends mom and sisters whew!! I would hate to be on their bad sides! Avery got what was coming for her and I don’t feel sorry for her. If she gets a story I may read it but definitely not pressed. Overall I loved this and would love to see more of this couple in other books!!

A Goon For Christmas did not disappoint! Ginger and Legend had the pages smoldering. The strong personalities made for some serious heat when they got close to each other. The way Legend loved his woman!!!☺🥰😊 I need one of them under my tree... I hope we get to visit them again...

My only thing was the break up scene. I hate those. She could’ve gotten space without completely leaving him. Anyway, Ginger, loved her name so cute to me. But she irritated me in the beginning with trying to fight her feelings so hard, she didn’t even have to do that. But they made a cute couple. Legend fell hard and first.
This was a cute story and I would have loved if they didn’t break up it would’ve been a 5 star read for me. And ole girl def deserved to be beat up. Honestly they should’ve beat her worse than they did. She got off easy and she knew it.

I’m convinced that everything M Monique writes is gold! She has written a story yet that I haven’t fallen in love with! Legend was a goon, yet kind, loving and gentle. Book after Book I fall deeper in love. Every single male character this author writes just has their own unforgiving personalities. Whew... Legend and Ginger had me blushing!
I enjoyed this book because the storyline was catchy and the love that was brewing between Legend & Ginger. Legend was so genuine that I forgot he was a goon. I recommend this for anyone looking for Christmas love story with to souls that heals together while passion is flowing. Great read.

now this book. too funny and another good one . legend was with the realness. he told you how he felt and the truth no lying necessary. and he would kill for you . i mean what’s better than that . and his family , his sisters against avery . hilarious like girl if a guy says no then move on . i love that all the characters are beautiful and still can hold there own.

I love that Legend didn't let Ginger attitude push him away, he wanted her and finally got her. Ginger got omn third guessing everything and believing the mess Avery wasn't putting in her head. I loved Legend family and their bond.
