The only thing harder than giving her dating lessons? Watching her date someone else.
Kara Dating? Not exactly my strong suit. I’ve spent years lost in my books, running Mustang Mountain’s coziest bookstore, and dodging romance like it’s a plague. But when a handsome stranger asks me out, I say yes before I can think it through. Now I’m in over my head.
Luckily, I have Ty—my best friend, the town’s tattooed heartbreaker, and the one guy I trust with my life. He offers to teach me how to date, how to flirt, how to feel confident. But the longer we “practice,” the more I realize I don’t want to be on a date with anyone else.
I want him.
Ty Teaching Kara how to date should be easy. I’ve had plenty of practice in the past, even if I gave up the player life a long time ago. But the second she lets me take her hand, the second I pull out her chair and make her blush—I'm screwed.
Because I don’t want to teach Kara how to date someone else. I want to teach her how to be with me.
But she doesn’t see herself that way—doesn’t think she’s the kind of woman a guy like me would ever want for more than friendship. She couldn’t be more wrong. And I’m about to prove it.
Welcome to Mustang Mountain, where rough roads lead to redemption.

March's Bad Boy - Ty: is Book 3 of the Bad Boys of Mustang Mountain series. It's a short and steamy, friends-to-lovers, dating lessons, opposites-attract, curvy girl gets her hunk romance. Ty is a hunky tattoo artist and former playboy. Kara is a shy and sweet bookstore owner and Ty's best friend. Ty is starting to realize he wants more than friendship with Kara when she is asked out by someone else. She agrees but is nervous as she feels socially akward. Her friends ask Ty to give her dating lessons, and he agrees. But the dates and feelings seem all to be real to both of them. These two were pure fire together. The chemistry and friendship were so hot, and the ending was happy after some bookstore drama. I can't wait for Levi's book next!! I loved this one so much.

Kara and Ty were best friends, and their story is a well written friends to lovers tale, which is definitely worth reading. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Ty has grown up on Mustang Mountain, and one of the only females to understand him is Kara, his best friend. She is the one who talked him into turning to tattoos as his career. She owns the local bookstore, All Booked Up. I think everything on Mustang Mountain is awesome, the locals that is. Having horrible family lives, the two of them bonded and have been close ever since. I love that Ty calls her Bookworm, that is adorable. I love how they interact, they are so cute. One day, he goes over after picking up coffees for them from Ruby’s Mercantile, and finds out that she has a date and is freaking out about it, because she hasn’t been on one in ages. Finding out about their lives during high school was a bit freaky and I fell in love with Ty right away. Book club friends talk Kara into telling him that she needs ‘dating practice,’ which had me giggling like mad because I knew what was going to happen. The pretend date was perfect- at least from my point of view. They are perfect for each other. I giggled, laughed, squeed, muttered under my breath and am waiting for another shoe to drop from the new big bad. I also believe that Hades wasn’t in it enough. (I always think that lately.) There was a bit of a scare that had Kara panicking and Ty calls upon his buddies and the MMR MC and family comes to the rescue. Seeing all of Mustang Mountain come together to save the day was heartwarming and almost made me cry in happiness to see all of the many previous characters have cameos. I can’t wait to see what happens next.

Oh boy—if this is Mustang Mountain’s version of a bad boy, where do I sign up?! Ty and Kara have been best friends for as long as they can remember—he’s the charming, reformed playboy tattoo artist, and she’s the steady force who’s always had his back. But when Kara impulsively accepts a dinner date and realizes she hasn’t been out with anyone since her senior prom, panic sets in. Enter Ty, who becomes her unexpected dating coach. What starts as a favor soon turns into something more, as Ty pulls out all the stops to show Kara how a woman should be treated. But as the sparks fly, he’s faced with a truth he can’t ignore—he doesn’t want Kara to date anyone else. He wants to be her man. I’m a sucker for the friends-to-lovers trope, and Ty and Kara’s story is exactly why. Their easy camaraderie, deep-rooted history, and undeniable chemistry make their leap from friendship to romance feel utterly magical. But love isn’t the only thing on the line. When Kara receives devastating news that threatens her beloved bookstore, Ty proves once again that he’s the man she can count on. The way the community rallies around her is heartwarming, but what truly steals the show is Kara’s realization that with Ty by her side, she’ll never be alone. This book is a warm hug wrapped in a love story—sweet, swoony, and full of heart. If you love small-town romance, ride-or-die friendships, and a hero who will do anything for the woman he loves, you’re sure to love this! Kara owns a bookstore in Mustang Mountain, Montana. It's her passion. Something she built for herself. She's very proud of it. But she's lonely sometimes. She's not very good with guys, though. She doesn't really know how to act. So when a handsome guy asks her out, she says yes before thinking about it. But what now? She doesn't really know how to date. So she asks her best friend Ty to help her. Ty is a tattoo artist. He has women hitting on him all the time, and time was he would have indulged. He had a bit of a reputation for it. But not anymore. The only woman he needed in his life right now was his best friend Kara. They had bonded in high school over their bad childhoods, and she probably understood him better than anyone. So when she asked him to give her dating lessons, he agreed, even though he knew it was a bad idea. But there was nothing he wouldn't do for her. So Ty took Kara on a couple of pretend dates, and showed her all the things a guy should do for his date. How he should treat her. It was the easiest thing ever. But when it came time for Kara's real date, it wasn't easy for him. He realized too late what his feelings were. Had he already lost her forever? This was a fun read, a friends to more romance with a little drama. Kara's bookstore was threatened, and she had no options. She was going to lose everything. Ty couldn't promise that he could fix it, but he had to try. Ty was a bad boy with a soft spot for his best friend. So cute and sweet.

If you're craving a cozy, flirty friends-to-lovers romance with just the right amount of heat, this one's perfect for you.
Ty and Kara have been best friends since they were kids. He's the tough, tattooed artist, and she's the shy bookshop owner. On paper, they couldn't be more different. He's got a sharp wit and a touch of sarcasm, while she's as gentle as a kitten and sometimes a bit socially shy. But they have this special connection that's unique to them.
Their friendship has always been a steady force in their lives, but everything changes when Kara decides to go on a date with someone new. That's when Ty starts realizing maybe what he feels isn't just friendship. And when the topic of "dating lessons" comes up—and yes, he's the one teaching them—you can imagine how quickly things get interesting.
I just loved how natural their connection felt. The friendly banter, the warm comfort, and the slow realization that there's so much more beneath the surface—it all unfolds in a way that feels genuine and heartfelt. There's a wonderful tension in the air, and it's filled with so much tenderness. And when Kara faces a threat to her beloved bookstore, Ty doesn't hesitate to step up—not just as a friend, but as someone who's all in.
This is a fast, satisfying read—nothing overly dramatic, just the perfect mix of sweet and steamy with a solid emotional core. If you're someone who's been drawn to the intrigue of opposites-attract, and you've had a long-standing crush that's now blossoming into something more, this story is sure to resonate with you.
March's Bad Boy - Ty is the third book in the Bad Boys of Mustang Mountain series. I adored this story about Kara and Ty. They are both so sweet and caring for each other that it is palpable. They bonded in high school over their bad home situations and for Ty it was Kara that really saw him. She was also the person who encouraged him to become a tattoo artist because she believed in him and his talent. They both stayed on Mustang Mountain, with her finally opening her own bookstore on the main street and him becoming a tattoo artist and working one shop in town. They have stayed best friends all these years but have never crossed that line in any way. But when Kara is asked out on a date and needs some dating lessons it is Ty that her friends ask to help, after all he has a lot of practice with his past playboy ways. Ty reluctantly agrees and this sets off a whole chain reaction of events which will have them finally voicing what has always been hidden deep down. But when Kara's bookstore is threatened with being closed after she receives an eviction notice it is Ty who will rally the town around her and keep her dream alive....and make it even better in the end. I loved this book and the story. It wraps you up in the small town world of Mustang Mountain. It also brings in a number of previous characters into the story which was a delight.
Ty's a tattoo artist at a shop owned by his friend and fellow biker, Priest, in Mustang Mountain, Montana. Both are members of the Mustang Riders MC.
Kara owns the All Booked Up bookstore in town. She and Ty have been best friends since they were in high school. He helped her build and open her store. It's where he spends most of his free time; it has become his second home.
Both of them came from families where they were neglected and unwanted. He became the playboy to cover his hurt. While she called him on his behavior and encouraged him to concentrate on becoming a tattoo artist. Something the guidance counselor thought was a very bad idea: thankfully she was right and he was wrong. Now she needs his help once more. She has an upcoming date, and she's dreading it. Her last date was her HS senior prom, the date that sent Ty to juvie and resulted in him being suspended from school. Her date had drugged her drink; he also ended the evening with a broken nose and two black eyes. Her friends suggested that she ask him to practice date her. He can't say no to her, but it'll kill him to see her dating another man.
These practice dates will either be the best thing that has ever happened to them or end their friendship forever...

A unique story line that is filled with so much heartfelt emotion. Kara owns the “All Booked Up” bookstore in Mustang Mountain. Her good friend is Ty who works at Priest’s tattoo shop. Women approach him all of the time, but he has a soft spot in his heart for Kara or as he fondly calls her Bookworm. When she is asked out on a date, she asks Ty, her best friend, for advice. He offers to show her how a man should treat his date. Flowers, dinner, opening the car door for her which makes him begin to realize that he wants to be her date. When her expected date is a total disappointment, will they finally realize that they should be the ones dating? When she learns that her bookstore building has been purchased and she must move, what will she do? She doesn’t want to leave Mustang Mountain, but she knows that she won’t be able to afford an increased lease on another store. The people of Mustang Mountain take care of their own and they’re not going to lose their favorite bookstore…or Kara! Loved it! I received an advance review copy at no cost and without obligation for an honest review. (paytonpuppy)
Ty (H) has spent years building a life he’s proud of—owning his tattoo shop, leaving behind his reckless past, and keeping things simple. But the one thing that’s never changed? His best friend, Kara (h). But when Kara asks for dating lessons before going out with someone else, he can’t say no. What starts as harmless practice quickly turns into something real, and suddenly, Ty can’t imagine Kara with anyone but him. Just as they take the leap from friendship to something more, Kara’s world is turned upside down. Her bookstore, her dream, is being taken away, and losing it means losing everything. Ty refuses to let that happen, and as they fight for her future, their feelings become impossible to ignore. They’ve always been each other’s safe place. But stepping from friendship into something deeper comes with risks, and Ty has to convince Kara that he’s in this for the long haul. She’s always been his. Now, he just has to make sure she knows it. Steamy friends to lovers, mountain man, small town romance, exploring love, second chances, and finding the courage to embrace the future, even when it doesn’t go as planned.
If you're a sucker for friends-to-lovers, steamy chemistry, and small-town vibes, this one’s for you. Ty and Kara have been besties forever, but when Kara needs some dating tips, Ty steps up to the plate. What starts as a “how-to-date” lesson soon turns into the kind of sparks you can’t ignore.
Kara's always been about her bookstore and dodging romance like it's a plague, but Ty, the tattooed heartbreaker, is about to change everything. As they practice flirting, dating, and suddenly making each other blush, they both realize... they might just want to be more than friends.
It’s a fast-paced, swoon-worthy journey where the line between friendship and love gets blurred in the best way. I loved how they supported each other through tough moments, and the town's support was so heartwarming.
A perfect insta-love read if you’re all about the will-they-won’t-they tension and ultimate happily-ever-after.

March’s Bad Boy is a captivating, entertaining and an enjoyable bad boy romance. I thought the story to be beautifully written, amazingly balanced and perfectly executed by Kaci Rose. Kaci Rose continues to showcase what a phenomenal author she is with each book I’ve read by her. March’s Bad Boy follows the journey of Kara and Ty, whom I found to be quite interesting and intriguing at the same time. The characters are phenomenally written and beautifully executed throughout the story. I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know both Kara and Ty as well as seeing their story come to life through the pages of the book. The chemistry between Kara and Ty is off the charts hot and undeniably irresistible. I love that they have a happy ending to their story with them being happy together as a couple. I would most definitely give this book as a recommendation for anyone to checkout and give it a read. I’m looking forward to reading more amazing romances by Kaci Rose in the future.

The third installment of *Bad Boy of Mustang Mountain* is titled *March’s Bad Boy - Ty*. In this book, Ty and Kara, who have been friends for a long time, finally cross a line they've never crossed before. When Kara needs dating advice for an upcoming date, she turns to Ty for help. This request stirs up feelings they both have been ignoring for fear of jeopardizing their friendship. However, they cannot ignore the passionate kiss they shared, which prompts them to finally act on their feelings for one another.
The story is fast-paced and very well written—you won’t want to put it down, and you’ll be left wanting more. I love how each book stands alone, yet all are connected as a series, with past couples making appearances that enhance the storyline. I can’t wait for the next book!

Kara is the owner of Mustang Mountain’s bookstore. She has spent much of her life reading her beloved books, and avoiding romance, but when a handsome stranger asks her out on a date she, says yes. Then the panic sets in because she knows nothing about dating, flirting or carrying on a conversation that isn’t about books. Next thing she knows, Ty, her best friend since high school and a hot ladies man, has been roped into agrees to giving her some lessons on dating, flirting and the like. As it turns out, neither is keen for her to go on a date with anyone else but him. Can he teach her how to flirt and kiss and not claim her for himself? Nope! Their sneaky friends knew that when they suggested the lessons. Let’s just say that the heat has been turned way up, their interactions are becoming much more intense and intimate, and both lay claim to other’s heart and are all in, even when trouble comes her way.
This novella is hot, spicy and has my recommendation.
I love a good best friends to lovers book, and this one really nailed it! Went through how close they are, how they didn’t realize how much they cared for each other and how it slowly crept up on them and then everything made sense. Ty was more of a reformed bad boy than a true bad boy I think. He was so sweet with Kara, willing to do absolutely anything for her. I loved the moment he realized that he had loved her for longer than even he know. He was protective and possessive of her even before he knew what those feelings were. Kara was the sweetest, the whole town loved her and her bookstore. She saw through Ty’s bad boy ways and to the heart of him, caring for him more than anyone. There was a big of push and pull, but very quickly cleared up. No cheating or OM/OW drama, best friends to lovers, dual POV, HEA and an epilogue with a peek into Levi’s story. Looking forward to more from the people of Mustang Mountain! Also, anyone else really wanting a shifter story for Hades?!
"A gentleman always opens the car door for his date," he says in a slightly teasing voice. "Ahh, but I didn't think you were a gentleman," I say. He shrugs. "Maybe for the right girl." He can’t possibly mean me and I know that, so why does my heart start racing at the thought? I swear I see a hint of pink on his cheeks, but that can't be right.
I loved this book. It was such a fun sweet read. I loved both Ty and Kara. They'd been best friends since high school and I loved how close they were. She may have been flustered over going on a date with a stranger, but I think it really said something that she trusted Ty enough to ask him to teach her how to flirt and to go on pretend dates with her so she could practice. They were adorable together. And Ty really was a gentleman. *swoon* That other guy didn't stand a chance! As with the rest of Kaci's books, I loved the found family and how everyone steps up for each other. 5 stars
Ty and Kara, the lead characters, have been friends since childhood. Kara has always been reticent about dating where Ty was a playboy but has been less active lately.
When Kara has a date with someone else, she’s so nervous that her friends suggest Ty give her lessons. Both are surprised to find they feel more than friendship.
Then Kara receives an eviction notice for her bookshop…
This novella is dual POV, well written and edited, and a sweet and steamy, small town, friends to lovers romance. I enjoyed the characters’ surprise at their feelings for each other. I enjoyed the support Ty provided for Kara. I enjoyed Kara’s willingness to try something. I enjoyed their intimacy. I enjoyed the way their friends came together to help when Kara needed it.

There were somewhat two stories about the same couple, Ty and Kara. It started with them being bestfriends, and Ty giving Kara dating lessons, since he had lots of experience next to her zero experience. Everything went fine. Until, one of her friend's told her to ask him "What if I'm a terrible kisser?". You can imagine what happened then. The second part of the story was Kara ran a bookstore, and her building was sold giving her two weeks to get out. Of course Ty came to the rescue finding a new building, and he managed to round up most of Mustang Mountain to help with the renovations and move. A wonderful story of a community pulling together to save a beloved store, and friends helping friends. A great lead in to the next book.

Best Friends Make the Best Lovers - Ty and Kara had been best friends since high school, but something had shifted in their relationship recently, that neither one of them was prepared to acknowledge. However, Ty finally had to admit his feelings for Kara after he discovered she would be going on a date, so he took the opportunity to not only stake his claim, but also do everything possible to ensure she knew he would always be there when she needed him.
Wow. This was a fantastic best friend to lovers romance story, with enough scorching-hot tension between the main characters to melt your screen and explode when they finally got their act together. I really enjoyed reading this beautifully written, page turner and I know you will love reading this book.

They have been best friends since high school. Always there for each other. She has focused all her time on opening her book store and her friends have been telling her it is time to step into the dating pool. It has been so long she asks her good friend to teach her some tricks so she doesn’t make a fool of herself. He jumps at the chance to help her, but soon realizes he doesn’t want her to use these skills on anyone else. This is their chance to realize what has been right in front of them the whole time. Once they take the blinders off they realize their friendship only makes the romance stronger. When he shows up for her in every way, it is like he has written the happily ever after himself. This is such a sweet story about realizing what has been right in front of your face the whole time.

Kara, a shy bookstore owner, turns to her best friend, Ty—the town’s reformed bad boy—for dating lessons. But as their practice dates heat up, it becomes clear that Ty doesn’t want to teach her how to date someone else—he wants her for himself.
Ty is protective and charming, while Kara’s journey to confidence is both relatable and satisfying. Their chemistry is electric, filled with playful banter and emotional depth. More than just romance, this story is about trust, self-discovery, and realizing love has been right in front of you all along.
With swoon-worthy moments and a satisfying slow burn, March’s Bad Boy - Ty is a must-read for small-town romance fans!.

You are in for a REAL treat in March's story of Ty & Kara. It feels extra awesome that it's about these two best friend. Best friends that have been CRAZY for each other for years, and how you can build a precious future from a solid past.
Kara is a bookworm, her nickname, and a book shop owner who is besties with the hottest tattoo artist, Ty. I love the deep, sincere, and palpable heat between these two. You really get the full on novel feel as you read of their friendship and how its been over the years. You can't help but totally cheer on the two to finally admit how they were feeling, and wish you could live through them.
Its sweet, slow burn, full on steam, and the hotness you can't help but burn through this book SO quick!!!
I’m biased because I absolutely love the collaborative series by Kaci Rose and Eve London, so I always dive into each new Bad Boys of Mustang Mountain release with excitement. March’s Bad Boy: Ty is no exception—it delivers everything I adore about this series! This book is a friends-to-lovers and grumpy-sunshine romance that had me smiling from start to finish. It’s a heartwarming story about discovering love in the most unexpected place—right beside you. Ty and Kara (a.k.a. Bookworm) have been best friends forever, but when Ty helps her "refresh" her dating skills, long-buried feelings suddenly surface. And in true swoon-worthy fashion, he decides to fight for her, even if it means interrupting her date with another guy! This is the perfect low-angst, feel-good romance—no suspense, no cliffhangers, just pure, cozy, heart-melting moments. If you're looking for a light, uplifting read with an effortless HEA, March’s Bad Boy: Ty won’t disappoint!
March’s Bad Boy Ty by Kaci Rose is a such a great read. I loved it from start to finish. This MC, friends to lovers romance is well written with wonderful characters. Kara and Ty are best friends that have shared many moments together. Their friendship then develops into a charming relationship that is full of romance, steam, heart, support, emotion, & community. I loved the comradery of the town and how they showed support to Kara and Ty, adding even more dimension to their story. March’s Bad Boy Ty is Book 3 of the Bad Boys of Mustang Mountain series but can be read as a standalone. I recommend this book.

The perfect friends to lovers story for Ty and Kara.
Bad boy Ty (who is the sweetest man to Kara) is a tattoo artist at Priests shop, and best friends with Kara a.k.a bookworm the bookstore owner. Where Ty is gruff, Kara is soft and their friendship is brilliantly written. When Kara gets asked out on a date, Ty is there to offer practical help, dating lessons which teach Ty and Kara that they actually want to be more than friends. Then the mysterious property buyer strikes putting Karas bookstore in turmoil, but Ty doesn't sit idly by when his girl needs help and along with the rest of Mustang Mountain pitches in to get her sorted and thriving.
5/5 stars, a nice easy read with very mild drama, a little bit of steam and short perfect for a quick hit of instaromance.

Ty and Kara have been best friends since high school. She has not dated since then. A man asks her on a date, and Ky has agreed to give her lessons. When they start the lessons, it is obvious the feelings of friends go deeper. When out on her date, things do not go very well but she is saved by Ty.
Now, they will take things for a test run to see how they work. Only, she is now being evicted from her store. The building sold to a new developer and he wants her gone in two weeks. She does not know what she will do. Ty will try and come up with a plan to save her store and hopefully make their relationship take the next step. He does not know if it will work, but he is willing to try. Will they work as a couple? Will he be able to come up with a plan to save her store?
Ty and Kara have been each other's rock since high school. Ty has been around the block a few times but that hasn't stop Kara from just being his friend. Kara is a Bookworm (her nickname from Ty) and owner of a very beloved bookstore. When she need "lessons" in dating because she has been asked out, Ty is right there but she doesn't need lessons, what she needs is encouragement and Ty has her covered...literally.
Through the lesson Ty realizes Kara is not only his and is prepared to do what it takes to keep her, and he gets to show her how much he wants her when she gets an eviction notice fir her bookstore. Ty rallies, begs, borrows and sells his soul (his words) to not only keep her dream of her bookstore but to make it grander than ever.
Ty and Kara have been best friends since they were in high school. Kara had her bookstore which had been her dream. She had told that he should try to be a tattoo artist;it worked for him. Ty had been the player never taking any one-night stand to his home because he didn't want to tell a woman to leave;he left when he wanted to. Kara's girlfriends convince her that she needs to start dating so she asks Ty to give her dating lessons. He agrees to show how a guy should treat her when he takes her on a date. What happens when they each start thinking differently about each other? What happens with Kara's bookstore? How does Ty and the community step up?.

Ty is a tattoo artist. He is a reformed playboy. He decided he wanted more from life than one night stands. His best friend is his complete opposite. Kenda owns a bookstore . She is shy, and innocent. When she is asked on a date she asks her best friend for lessons. What happens when those lessons become more than either bargains for. I absolutely love a best friend’s turned lovers troupe. Kaci does not disappoint. I love how sweet and protective Ty is of Kendra. When her bookstore faces trouble Ty will pull out all stops to try and save it. Such an enjoyable read.
