What's Left of Me, explore a powerful collection of poems that delve into the darkest corners of the human experience– self-harm, suicide, loss, death, heartbreak, and self-hate.
These poems are a reflection of my fragmented emotions, written in a state of vulnerability and chaos, without the confines of structure or order. Each piece resonates with the raw intensity of feeling, capturing moments of despair and fleeting glimmers of hope.
They are not categorized or divided, mirroring the disarray of the heart and mind during times of struggle. This collection invites you to confront the complexities of pain, to find understanding in the chaos, and to discover that even in the depths of sorrow, there is a shared humanity. Join me on this emotional journey and let the words speak to the unspoken battles we all face.
While this poetry collection is heavy and heartbreaking to read and may be too much for some, I for one, appreciate the author’s bravery and willingness to go where won’t. To be honest about the dark realities of living with mental illness, the struggle to live another day, and the fight to stop hurting ourselves. I relate with this collection and if you also relate, then this book will remind you you are not alone. And isn’t that what we all long for — to know we are not alone in our pain.
I'm rating this book because I've read all his three books and all I can say is he knows everything in my head as if he lives in there... A little warning his poetry is really dark so if you feel uncomfortable don't go for this book. I love love you TICUS❤
