Dani Rose is a dark taboo pen name for the dark romance author, Emily Klepp. She is creating stories that make you question your morals and wonder why you chose to read taboo at all. Keeping separate from her usual trauma healing stories, this is the place where her intrusive thoughts run wild.
This was so good and so sad. Cassia, Graham and Trent deserved to be happy. I honestly hoped for a final destination/ happy death day moment where it was just a bad dream. I’m glad they got to be happy as a 3 even if just for a very short time.
This is a taboo story and as much as I loved it doesn’t mean it’s for everyone Cassia and Graham are 🩸 siblings. Trent is Graham’s best friend.
Before you even think about reading this book, check the triggers. This is a taboo relationship between🩸siblings.
I am no stranger to taboo romances, but I am new to Dani Rose. A friend of mine suggested Too Far Gone to me and it did not disappoint.
If I was to have a complaint it would be that it was too short. That doesn't mean the story wasn't good, it just means that I wanted more. The build-up and the anticipation of what was to come.
The ending is what got me, this story is not for the faint of heart so take that into consideration too.
A hot, dark, taboo erotica I think is exactly what I needed. I have been in such a reading slump with everything happening in my personal life, and this short taboo novella was amazing. Emily, I'm loving your taboo side already! I cannot wait for more. Please check the triggers, if you can't read 🩸 siblings, this is not for you.
Truly rubbish. Underdeveloped, things like anal sex with no prep (like the author didn't research rather than in a non con kinda way). The dramatic bits were just funny and it overall felt so lazy and like a tick box exercise for tropes and kinks. This is really one of those times where I'm baffled by all the other reviews and can only assume they're friends of the author!
Oh my god, this was definitely a hot ride! The spice levels were off the charts! Usually, I enjoy novellas because they're short and sweet, especially when that’s what I’m in the mood for. But honestly, I’d love to see this story expanded into a full-fledged Taboo Book someday with more backstory. That ending completely took me by surprise, I was mentally shouting, “NOOOO!” It left me wanting more!
If your looking for A faced Paced Taboo Novella that will suck you in and keep your attention and leave you wanting more this is the one for you.

This one was a little out there. It ended up really messed up. That ending came too fast and too quick with all that happened. Still decent for being only 35 pages 🙈
Wow, this was a short but powerful read. I felt so many emotions in reading this. Definite taboo with brother and sister. The dad in this story blew me away, I won't spoil it but my God it was intense!!
I don't know how to rate it! On the Taboo scale 5/5, on the "Holy shit, that was a bit fucked up" Scale also a solid 5/5.. on a "I kinda wanna throw my phone because of that ending" scale 3.5/5... on a "oh no, I am feeling emotions" scale 4/5... so I guess we will go with a Overall 4/5! ( I was really hoping they all got their HEA)
Wow! I was totally not expecting what I just read. It was super short and A LOT happened in the few short chapters. I wasn’t expecting what happened in the book to happen. Cassia experienced so much in such a few short moments.
Holy hell I'm at a loss for words to describe what I just read. This book is taboo, intense, loving, sad, and such a mix of emotions. You just gotta read it if you're into taboo that is.
Absolutely fantastic short read!! Didn’t end how I thought it would which was absolutely heartbreaking but still an unexpected HEA and the spice was ✨chefs kiss✨
Cassia finds herself stranded in a blizzard at her family's cabin with her brother and his best friend. And they start exploring very taboo feelings for each other. Only what they don't realize is that their parents have security cameras at the cabin.
So going into this one I liked it at the start. I liked the whole taboo sister/brother relationship with his best friend thrown in there too -- so hot!
But then things started to get weird. First there's the extreme pain kink going on. Some pain? Okay, but this was a little much for me.
But hey, I can look past that. I still liked the dynamic and idea of the throuple. Even though I didn't feel like Trent was really apart of things emotionally.
Then...well, shit hit the fan. I went into this one expecting pure taboo smut. What I got was a tragic and depressing ending. Here I am thinking -- "oh a new taboo author I can check out her other stuff", and then BAM! Her brother is killed off and the whole thing ends on a sour note.
So no matter how hot the smut was, it was all ruined by that ending. And her and Trent don't even seem happy together in the end, like it's just a consolation prize to stay together or something.
So yeah, I liked his at first, but I hated the ending. And I don't plan to read more from this author. No thanks.

There are no words just no perfect words to express the wild ride Dani Rose just took me on !!! Too Far Gone is easily one of the best books I’ve read in the past few months !!! Taboo , heartbreaking, dark , raw , gritty , tragic , steamy , forbidden, MMF , intriguing, suspenseful, and just simply captivates and complex . I honestly was not prepared for Cassia , Graham and Trent’s story , the way it just hooked me from page one , the way it played on all my emotions and tugged on all my heartstrings in ways I never saw coming . I mean I went through everything from being utterly speechless, to yelling outta frustration, to smiling and sometimes laughing to sobbing like a baby and cheering so so hard from start to ending. Emily never fails to exceed all my expectations and just completely blow me away in all the best ways possible. Do you love non con , do you love Dub con , do you love Blood siblings and knife play ? Well if you answered yes look no further because this book is absolutely what you are looking for !!!!
This is one of those books that truly tests the waters of society's morals in regards to sibling relationships. It certainly left me grasping for "why's and how's" but certainly kept me riveted to each new page of this incredibly taboo spiced read with an ending that totally 'blew me away'. At times though I felt the plot felt a little rushed but as a short novella it was succinct to the needs of telling the story. I guess too as a debut dark taboo inspired story the Author was simply testing the waters of interest and believe me it truly captured mine and definitely left me in an emotionally charged mood, so much that I had to read something in a totally different genre afterwards to mentally stop myself from revisiting a particular scene... or two. One piece of advice do check the Author trigger listing before proceeding.
Ohmygawd if Dani Rose 🌹 isn't a saint of writing. i don't know who is. I loved/hated this book. I wasn't expecting the ending. It happened, so it caught me off guard, and I started panicking 🫠 . To say I'm not devastated is an understatement. I honestly love how she writes. There's a lot going on, but I feel like I'm not reading the same paragraph over and over.
It's kind of hard to explain this book without spoiling it.
Drunk parents, teens who are closer than they should be, and a tragic event leave them heartbroken in the end. Was the event meant to bring to of these people together, or was it just the way it was supposed to be..
Too Far Gone by Dani Rose is a taboo dark romance. I have never read a book quite like this one. And while I loved the story I was very torn on the what’s right and what’s wrong. The ending shook me and everything happened all at once. The death of Graham, the SA from her Dad. Maybe it’s how it was supposed to end. The love that she felt for her brother was taboo and in the end Graham was killed off and she ended up with his best friend Trent who survived being shot.
I recommend this book to those who love dark taboo romance but I highly stress that you read the trigger warnings before starting this book.

Short? Yes, it’s a novella after all. Do I want more? Of course I do, because it was that good. The spice was spicing and the taboo was awesome. I was engaged from the start and didn't stop until the finish, which took my breath away. I was like WOW WTF. If triggers in taboo are not your thing, then don't even attempt to pick this up, however; if you are anything like me and triggers don't even phase you then pick it up ASAP and dive the fuk right in! The characters rocked and as short as this was, the storyline was great. Ms. “Dani Rose” YES, write more. I have no doubt that the interest will be great here. So please please write. I will read them all!
This novella is genuinely heart-wrenching. It revolves around three individuals who share a deep love for one another: siblings Cassia and Trent, along with their best friend, Graham. Unfortunately, they find themselves in peril due to the actions of their father. Each character experiences pain in their own way. Tragically, Graham loses his life, while Trent and Cassia come together to mourn his passing. In a shocking turn of events, their father takes his own life. This book evokes a whirlwind of emotions, leaving you yearning for more. I found myself wishing it were longer, as I craved additional depth from the story. Be sure to check for trigger warnings.
Wow!!! This is the debut novella for Dani Rose. It is DARK and taboo, so if this is not up your alley then DONT READ IT!! 2 of my favorite things put together, there was no way I could say no. Cassia, Graham and Trent take you on one wild ride. I don't know what I was expecting but definitely not that ending. These 3 are hot and messed up. But not like that ending. Fear is Cassia's kink and Graham and Trent know just what to do with it. Blood doesn't matter, if you know what I mean. A must read for the dark and twisted like myself. I cant wait for more!!
Oh my God, this story is mind blowing, frustrating, heartbreaking, and fun to read. Definitely before you read this story. Make sure you read the triggers for it because it definitely could bother you. When the story first started out I was in shock at what I was reading and then I said to myself, it’s a story and if it’s real life to each their own. Dani has a creative and different taboo of thinking when she makes her stories full of twist and turns. What her father does it’s just uncalled for but in the end, he didn’t win.
🖤TOO FAR GONE🖤 By Dani Rose ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ For this being Dani’s debut novel I think it was pretty good! My one complaint with novellas is I always wish they were longer and not so rushed. But that’s kind of to be expected with them. I’m just one that needs the back story and character development.
This is a brother/sister dark taboo novella. I wouldn’t say romance as there is no HEA. It’s a FMM as brother bestie is also involved. They take you on a wild ride while stuck in a blizzard! The ending was definitely surprising to say the least. Just wish it could’ve been longer!
I never thought I'd sob the tears I sobbed at this book. It's deffo not a HEA and it grips your heart in a way no other book does.
That being said the smut is smutting and the tabboo part of the story just makes it soo much more forbiddenly exciting. You know when you have butterflies in your stomach cuz there is something you shouldnt do kinda exciting.
This being Dani Rose's first smutty novella, I cannot wait to see more of similar worlds and how the writing style progresses. Such a good taboo story this was and set the bar high for anything I'd ever read in the future.
