One of the most beautiful childen's poetry books that I've seen! The illustrations are stunning!!

I love how these poems cover a range of emotions and really capture the feeling of each as well as helping children to feel the emotion, process it and move forward. There is also a lot of positive affirmation and confidence building to help children be proud of who they are.

The whole book just has a great feeling and is definitely one that will sit in pride of place on my child's bookshelf for a long time to come.

A lively and packed book of poems regarding emotions, for the older primary school audience. They're not always diligently about the mood – the second one is about the power of 'hello' which is adjacent at best to the topic of shyness, especially the way it's presented here. The feeling of guilt could well have been loose inspiration for its verse, but little more. That's not to say that's an issue – it's not, and all the rest are on point either way.

Structurally, the first couple are all ABCB four-liners, but we certainly get beyond that – at one point we have an AAAA, BBBB, CCCC poem – which is also an acrostic poem as well. Feeling overwhelmed is a set of Limerick-style five-liners. Sometimes the verse pattern changes mid-poem, but not to the work's detriment, and the variety only makes this more useful and welcome in the classroom.

Generosity, persistence, and a superlative look at grieving – all the topics are amenable and intelligently handled. The book is also helped by some really bright and dynamic art for every verse – some full-page, to keep the pattern of pretty much every poem getting a full spread, some much smaller. I thought this was better than I really had any right to expect – it read like a Greatest Hits as opposed to a standard collection – and is as close to five stars as makes no difference. It will be a very welcome volume.

Easy five stars.
I loved this collection of children’s poems and will definitely be buying it on release day to have and keep in our home collection.
As a mum to neurodiverse little ones I am always on the look out for anything to help us with big emotions and this really fits for that so well. The illustrations for each poem are so colourful and eye catching fitting the words so perfectly.
There are so many wonderful poems I’m sure this will be loved by all adults and children who pick it up!

Thank you for the arc digital copy of this book. This is perfect to read to children who are struggling to understand their emotions. Each poem is accompanied by illustrations which are vibrant. The poems themselves are beautifully written. I particularly loved the poem about losing someone you love. I will be purchasing this book for myself.

All Of Me is a beautiful children's book full of poems. Each one teaches the reader how to feel their feelings and hopefully also help deal with the difficult ones. It's not always easy to deal with emotions but this book is the perfect guide. It's not only a great book for children, this book has a poem for everyone and I'm sure would help anyone in a difficult situation. Whether it be anxious thoughts or dealing with grief, there's a poem inside to help. Sometimes simple words can make you feel a little less worried and a little more hopeful.

Reading this collection aloud to my daughter in one sitting turned out to be a lovely shared experience. We felt some feelings were given more space than others, however the overall structure worked well and kept us both engaged. My daughter especially liked that the first and last poems gave the book a full-circle feel. She said it felt like there was something in it for everyone, even neurodivergent children like her.

The poems themselves are almost entirely rhyming and very accessible. They are not trying to be complex or deep, but they are perfect for the intended audience. My nine-year-old enjoyed them so much that she did not want to stop. Adults should not go in expecting more than simple rhymes, but for younger readers they hit the mark. Julia Murray’s illustrations were sweet, funny and bright. They really matched the tone of each poem and helped bring the words to life.

We each found poems we related to, and I think this could be a great book for families like ours, especially those navigating neurodiversity or mental health challenges. It is something you could easily dip into when a child is struggling with a particular emotion, and I do think it could help them feel seen and less alone. It is definitely written with children in mind and I would happily recommend it as a shared bedtime read. It is both soothing and validating, and that makes it a worthwhile addition to any young reader’s bookshelf.

Thanks to @netgalley and @collinskids for the ARC.
