(Spoilers below...)

I don't know, it was fine, but to be honest, I really think 5 years is a huge waste of time. If Sutton (23) hadn't reached out to Jordan (33), this whole story wouldn't have happened at all. He accepted the blame for something he didn't do just to protect Sutton, letting her and everyone else to believe the lies that were spread about him.

I get that there's a need for him to protect her, but she's her own person. Sutton can think for herself and can make her own choices about how to live her life, regardless of what she's going to learn along the way. Unfortunately, this choice was taken from her by the people surrounding her.

So, when they finally got together, they didn't even bring up the elephant in the room. They just let that issue hang around for about the 85% mark, I think. Instead, they chose to live blissfully and enjoy each other's company. I'm not sure; it could just be me wanting to tackle problems as they come up first. But I really didn't like that they chose to just ignore it for almost the entirety of this book.

Anyway, they're still the end game, so… at least we have that. 🤷‍♀️

This review will contain SPOILERS so I can remember the story and why I will not read it again. The hero is a pussy, the heroine deserved better and I am just left saddened instead of basking in romance. This was a fail for me. Nichole Rose is losing her mojo.

Safe
No cheating
Virgin heroine
No history on hero, he could be a virgin but he never said anything outright (I don't feel like reading between the lines to figure it out)
Separation of 5 years/ second chance
Age gap 10 years
No gross condom use
No stupid third act break up
HEA (the baby talk was cute, but I just don't quite believe in the HEA....the hero was a pussy!)

Quote (hero's status is vague),
But most of these guys are assholes. They make a game of fucking
around, taking bets on who can bag the most bunnies.
That shit isn’t me. It’s never been me. I’m not opposed to sex. Do
whatever the fuck you want to do so long as it’s consensual, but I
was raised by a single mom. Doesn’t matter how old I am now, she’d
still kick my ass if she ever found out I treated women like half of
these guys do.
I don’t lead on women who don’t interest me…and none of them
interest me. Save one. Sweet little Sutton Peters is an unattainable
dream, too damn young for me, but still the only one I can’t get out of
my head."
end quote

This story about Sutton and Jordan depressed me and left me feeling sad for her. A romance shouldn't leave you feeling like you are glad you didn't end up with a guy like Jordan, and feeling sorry for Sutton. Jordan met her when she was 3 months shy of 18 and he felt dirty falling for her so he ignored her but always stayed near her. She turned 18, but he is 10 years older so he didn't do anything to pursue her because of the age gap and did not want the wrath of her brother who was his teammate then. If you are looking for your classic alpha man NR style, going after the love of his life busting through hell to claim her, look elsewhere, because Jordan is NOT it. He has excuse upon excuse to avoid the 'love of his life'. So he does nothing about Sutton except sulk.
He walks in the locker room seeing Jamison (Sutton's brother who raised her) watch a secret sex video with his other teammates, he discretely filmed of him fucking his girlfriend Vanessa, who happens to be Sutton's best friend. Jordan finds that to be reprehensible and knocks Jamison on his ass badly enough to send him to the hospital. Sutton smacks him in the face, not because he hit her brother, but because her brother told her that the reason why Jordan is hanging out with them is because he likes Vanessa. She did not tell Jamison or Jordan that she fell in love with Jordan (she did tell Vanessa though), but she was still heartbroken. This whole incident had Jordan hide like a pussy, with the excuse that he didn't want to tell her what her brother did to her best friend because it will damage her view of him, seeing he is the only family she has left and the man she idolized. *huff in frustration* A man worth a woman's heart would have claimed her, looked after her, kept her close, showered her with love and told her the truth knowing that if she falls, he will catch her. But that is not Jordan, no no, Jordan is a dickless pussy who thought it would be best to keep Sutton in the dark, abandon her and not bother to keep up with her life for 5 years. When she moves to where he lives to be near him, his reaction is this:

Quote,
“What do you want?” I ask, my tone borderline hostile. I don’t want
to hurt her. I just want her gone so I can go back to pretending I
didn’t set my entire fucking world on fire for her. But that is what I did.
Just so she didn’t lose her brother.
She flinches at my tone, seeming to draw in on herself. “How have
you been?”
It’s a loaded question I have no interest in answering. “What do
you want, Sutton?”
“I…” She glances around her, spotting the camera in the corner
and huffs out a breath. “Is there somewhere we can talk privately?”
“Nope.”
end quote

Wow, so that is what a man in love says to the woman of his dreams. What a fucking looser who does not deserve love! Why did he react that way? She did not deserve that reaction to her coming back! THIS is what fucked up the rest of the book for me, aside form NR not giving us a DV, I think it would have been wasted because Jordan is not into Sutton as much as his inner monologue would suggest. SHE came to him, SHE approached him, SHE pursued him! Would he have pursued her on his own? I don't think he ever would. That cemented my view on Jordan. Dickless coward!
She runs after him and later tells him that she liked him since they met. He didn't know which I guess that would be normal for a man who doesn't really seem to pay enough attention to the "only woman he loves and is obsessed with". Obsessed and in love with how? He doesn't know how she feels, or what she is going through!! He doesn't bother to think that she may have feelings, or that he would shoot his shot because he wants her that badly. Turns out, he wanted her enough to keep his dick in his pants, but not enough to want her in his life. Them getting together was not healing, it was depressing, because I thought to myself, Sutton deserves a man who will fight to be near her, who will be there stuck like glue, who will be her constant, who will not let even her last family member hurt her, but he gave up on her and left. The excuse is for her to not have her view of her brother tarnished, but did he have to leave her? He might have been hired to play for the league with the heroes in the series, and played against his former team which he does later in the book but why leave Sutton? If that is a man in love, please spare me.
There is a scene that was supposed to be funny, with Sutton texting him, and him answering with "Who is this?" It was supposed to be funny but it just sent a pain of hurt to my own heart. That was before he shoved his hand down her pants, kissed her and made her cum once she told him she liked him since they met. It broke her heart and she responded saying that Jordan was a coward like her brother, which is true! Once his eyes are open and they kissed and he made her cum, she was walking on eggshells thinking that if she brought up her brother, he would shut her out. She felt that way for the better part of the story, and I don't blame her. NO ONE IS TELLING HER ANYTHING! Everyone around her broke her heart it made me feel so bad for her! Her brother is a fucking monster, who even though he tries to beg for forgiveness did not deserve it!
Vanessa sucks, since she knew that Sutton knew nothing of what happened but she ditches her, blocks her on social media and threw her out of her life like trash. She did NOTHING to deserve that and even though Vanessa suffered the humiliation of being filmed secretly by Jamison whom she loved, that does not mean she shouldn't be called out for being a shit friend to Sutton! Sutton was there for her and she ditched her even though she told her nothing, making her feel responsible in some way. She has Jordan reach out to Vanessa and she responds back. They have a quick talk mending their relationship, but a quick 'I am sorry' does not cut it. I am sorry for what happened to Vanessa, but the bitch is not a loyal friend. Why did she block and shut out her best friend?
Jordan is all lovey dovey but refuses to tell Sutton the truth about her brother, which is STUPID because she knows it is something bad. Also, I cannot ever forgive him for letting her believe the lie her brother told her, that he liked Vanessa. She suffered for 5 years thinking that the man she fell in love with was in love with someone else, and the worst is that he let her believe it. He should have told her years ago that he is not in love with Vanessa, never was, and it is no excuse that he did not know Sutton was in love with him. Even if he didn't know, a real take charge hero, a man in love would never let the woman he is in love with believe he is in love with someone else. Jordan did just that for 5 years, and even though he thought about her, he did not care enough to know or learn how she felt about him. When he told Vanessa what Jamison did, and told the higher ups, Vanessa believed him but the higher ups in hockey didn't, so he got ousted from the team as a result. Everyone thought he messed Jamison up for no reason. He came up with reason number 3 or 4 for why he didn't pursue Sutton for 5 yearss, and it's that he has nothing to offer her once he was kicked out the league. *huff* You aren't dirt poor Jorrdan, what the fuck kind of excuse is that?
He tells her the truth in he third act, she confronts her brother, the brother goes to rehab, the brother makes a grand statement confessing everything he did, but she doesn't entirely forgive him and it is supposed to be healing for everyone. Jamison can rot in hell, and as for Jordan, he doesn't deserve Sutton. She is the pursuer in the relationship, and she is the one who fought, she is the one who suffered and I don't want to hear that Jordan suffered because he did the righteous thing of trying to protect Sutton from ruining her relationship with her monster of a brother! He was in love enough to keep it in his pants, but that is it. I don't believe he would have gone after her, I don't believe his love for her is deep. He is the type that at the first sign of trouble, he would pack up and leave convincing himself it is for the best. That is the type of coward he is! Even with all the love he showers her with once they get together, even though he is supportive, sweet and regretful (somewhat) of letting years pass, it is too little too late.

Quote,
“He’s not the only reason I’m here. Maybe I miss you.” She bites
her lip, glancing down at her feet as if that admission cost her dearly.
“I…I know he lied to me back then. You weren’t trying to hook up
with Vanessa, were you?”
I don’t say anything for a long moment, not sure how to respond.
Back then, Jamison convinced her that the fight was all because I
wanted to fuck Vanessa. It was laughable, but Sutton believed him.
And I fucking let her believe it. I didn’t tell her who her brother
really was or correct her when she confronted me. I just…didn’t say
anything at all.
end quote

When they reconciled at least they stuck together and NR put so many 'I love yous' between the two, might as well bash us over our heads making us believe he is a man who all of a sudden found his balls! He should have found them 5 years ago if she mattered as much as his inner monologue says! Sutton is also the one to plan a proposal at the end, but when she says, "Will you..." he interrupts by finishing her question wanting to be the one to ask her first....and then takes out a ring he carried around with him for a week. He says he thought of proposing to her for years *cough cough* BULLSHIT *cough*. When was he planning on proposing after leaving her and never planning on ever going after her? Huh? WHEN? I will tell you when. NEVER!
There was a scene where he had showed her a tattoo of a ferris wheel, the two of them were on, and she hoped they kissed, but he pussied out because her brother was in the car near them. Nichole Rose tried really hard (and failed miserably) to make me believe that Jordan is a worthy hero. He over compensates with sweet acts when they get together, and he is supportive and loving, but I just cannot see past him leaving with no intention of ever going after Sutton. Their story was broken irreparably from the start for me.
As for the sex scenes, they just made me roll my eyes in annoyance, because in the bedroom he is all dominant, growly and bossy, which is the opposite of who he really is. He makes sure he tells her she is not in charge in the bedroom, making her edge and cum when he decides. It would have been sexy if I believed he is capable of that kind of 'MINE!' attitude, but he is not. He is a coward, and I am supposed to believe he is all in with her because of his dominance in the bedroom? Where was his dominance when he had a chance with her? I will call out Sutton for a couple things, and it's that she never called Jordan in the 5 years, and he kept his number in hopes of her calling. She should have called him. Also, she smacked him angrily, and that did hurt his feelings deeply. I will be fair and point an accusing finger to Sutton as she had some share of the blame in this rift. There is no if ands or buts about it. Fair is fair. I still feel like this first interaction when they see each other again, at Sutton's request made me really angry at Jordan. If he reacted differently, like a man in love and did something romantic like fall to his knees and reach out to her or something like that, instead of speaking harshly to her, then I wouldn't be as harsh on Jordan.
I still would not care for Jordan. I felt bad for Sutton. Vanessa is a shit friend. Jamison is a selfish monster and I just felt miserable throughout the entire read. I did not feel the romance and I did not see any healing. The sex scenes seem to come out of nowhere and just made me roll my eyes at how badly Jordan wants to show Sutton he always loved her and will never let go this time. The attempt of humor missed the mark, and there was no happiness in this read for me. The only good thing is no history on the hero and the baby talk in epilogue was cute. I am glad there was no "the last time I fucked was a decade ago' or 'I haven't touched a woman since whenever", at least the ambiguity is better for those of us who don't want a definite experienced hero. Sparing me that made the read easier. There is too much sadness, the hero is a pussy who gives up too easily, the heroine has been disappointed and hurt by her brother, best friend, and worst, the man who says he loves her.
I will not read this again. I hated it.

I know I have found a good author when I am saddened by the end of a series they have written. A huge betrayal and hidden secrets broke what Jordan and Sutton had growing between in the past. Five years later, Sutton has come for answers-difficult ones. Their love story was so full of emotion and vulnerability as they faced the agonies caused by another-together this time. Loved Jordan’s growly possession and Sutton’s strong personality. A perfect blend of heart, sizzle and a healing love.

Jordan Silvestri and Jamison Peters played hockey together on the Bucks and were supposedly best friends. Jamison started to change once he was named captain of the team. The other hockey players try to sleep with as many girls as they can. Jordan doesn’t believe in leading women on. Plus, there is only one woman that he is interested in and she is off-limits.

Sutton Peters just turned eighteen a couple of months ago. She is Jamison’s younger sister. He raised her after their parents died. She just started college and didn’t want Jamison to date her new roommate Vanessa. Jamison and Vanessa started dating anyway.

Jordan catches Jamison and a couple of the other guys watching a video in the locker room between periods. It sounds like a porn video. It turns out to be a video of Vanessa and according to one of the guys, Vanessa didn’t know that Jamison was video recording them. Jordan knows that both Sutton and Vanessa will be devastated if they find out about the video. Jamison tells Jordan that he did it because he thinks Vanessa wants to leave him for Jordan. Jordan tells Jamison that he never has had feelings for Vanessa. Jordan can’t believe that Jamison has become suck a jerk.

Five years later, Jordan is on the Carvers. He lost his chance at love with Sutton when he punched Jamison on the ice that night. Only one other Bucks player stood up for Jordan. Everyone else protected the captain and the video in question disappeared. Sutton slapped Jordan in the face and told him off. Jordan never told Sutton the truth about why he fought with her brother because he didn’t want to hurt her. The next away game for the Carvers is with the Bucks and the video of the fight between Jordan and Jamison will resurface again.

Sutton comes to see Jordan because she is now working in DC. She was in love with Jordan five years ago until her brother told her the fight was because Jordan wanted Vanessa. Sutton was heartbroken. Then, Vanessa dropped out of school and never talked to Sutton again. Her brother Jamison started drinking heavily. Jamison finally told Sutton that It was a lie and that Jordan never wanted Vanessa. Her brother still won’t tell her the real reason Jordan picked a fight with him that night.

These two obviously still had feelings for each other. I wondered if they would finally get to be together.

Wow what a way to finish the series with this Angsty instalove following Sutton and Jordan.
Jordan was in love with Sutton, little did he know Sutton wanted him too. The fact there was an age difference made Jordan keep his distance, but he was happy to be around her. However that closeness was mistaken by his best friend and Sutton older brother for something different. And the secret, disgusting behaviour shown by Jamison puts Jordan and Sutton on opposite sides of the fall out. And while Jordan wants nothing more than Sutton, her happiness is all that matters so when confronted he keeps the cause of the rift under wraps and looses his girl before he got her.
Years later Sutton is back in Jordan's life, and she wants answers. Answers Jordan isn't prepared to give yet, but keeping the secret could cost him his second chance at his first love.

Jordan is a demon of a hockey player, with an air of mystery and intimidation about him. However the love he shows for Sutton is pure and full on. He's soft for her, and only her and the support he provides her throughout the book is the absolute best. He's there emotionally, physically and mentally as the toll of Jamison's deciet takes hold and comes to light.
Sutton is a determined to not let her second chance go to waste as she dives head first in with Jordan. She's put through the ringer with this roller coaster of emotions, but remains head strong to uncover the truth.

5 star read, filled with love, steam and a storyline that you'll want to know the ending too. I read it in one sitting, and while I didn't want it to end I wanted to know what had happened /what was going to happen.

What to expect
🏒 Second chance at a first love
🏒 Hockey Romance
🏒 Enemies Little Sister
🏒 Grumpy x Sunshine
🏒 "Enemies" to Lovers
🏒 Steamy Scenes
🏒 Spice
🏒 Alpha MMC
🏒 Soft for his woman only

The Pucked Up Love series is a 5 star read, every single book gives you something different. It's great to see the characters develop over the books as they each have snippets in one another's stories. Also seeing characters from the playing for keeps series and the Silverspoon Falcons is wonderful.
Nichole take a bow, because you've smashed it again.

So Good!

I just finished "Pucking Forbidden," the fourth and final book in the Pucked Up Love series, and wow, it definitely lived up to my expectations! Jordan and Sutton missed out on five years together and they really deserve their happily ever after.

The story dives into Jordan and Jamison's friendship, which takes a major hit when Jamison does something awful to his own girlfriend. When Jordan stands up for her, the fallout is huge—he loses his hockey team and the chance to be with the girl he loves, Sutton, before anything even had a chance to start. All of this happened because of Jamison’s lies, and unfortunately, the truth was buried for years.

Fast forward five years, and now Sutton is back in front of Jordan, wanting answers he can't give her. But neither of them wants to waste this second chance! Their attraction and chemistry are undeniable, and this time, they're determined to make it work. When the truth about Jamison finally comes to light, you can bet Jordan will be there to support Sutton.

I’ve really enjoyed this whole series! It's been such a fun journey getting to know each couple as they find their own happy endings in their standalone stories that connect with each other. This last love story was a wonderful way to wrap things up. As always, there was plenty of witty banter that had me laughing, but this one also delved into deeper emotional territory with family drama and the struggles of facing the past. Plus, there were some super spicy moments that kept me hooked and wanting more! I finished it way too quickly! Now, I can’t wait for the next exciting series to come along!

Pucking Forbidden is the fourth and final book in the Pucked Up Love series. And as always, Nichole Rose finishes the series with such an amazing story. Jordan and Sutton’s story offers a roller coaster ride of emotions. This story starts with a prologue that reveals the reason behind the fight between Jordan and his former team’s Captain, Jamison of the Bucks. Throughout the other three books in this series, we’ve heard about an incident that happened, and this brings it into grave detail. Please note the author’s trigger warnings for this book!

After the prologue, the story picks up five years later, after Jordan has recovered from the fallout of the incident. Jordan and Sutton’s story is just heartfelt. There is such a range of emotions and feelings within this story. I was cheering for these two from the start. Watching the struggles they face, and learning to let Jamison’s problems be his, and not theirs, really evolved the story.

Nichole Rose weaves an amazing story, and as always when touching on sensitive topics, she has an awareness of all the different sides of exposure and fallout to these matters. It allows for a complete story that is realistic, emotional, genuine and complex. Watching Jordan and Sutton develop their relationship and HEA, and knowing those who were responsible ultimately accepted responsibility, was just phenomenal. True storytelling at its finest!

4.5⭐️
I’ve been waiting for Jordan’s story since the first book in the series to figure out what happened between him and his former team. I’ve got to say, I wasn’t expecting it to be what it was. This is a 5 year separation, kind of second chance (although nothing happened before, just feelings), angsty romance with some trigger warnings to it. I struggled through some of it, not sure if I truly understood the reasoning for why Jordan kept it a secret. But I also understood it too and can appreciate why he did. Sutton’s then struggle with whether or not to forgive her brother was hard as well, but realistic. I wasn’t a fan of him getting a somewhat redemption arc, but again it was realistic, and I appreciated that Jordan still wanted nothing to do with him other than for Sutton’s sake. Lots of steam and we get to see all the guys again throughout. Love how they all stand up for each other no matter what, a true found family. Made me cringe a bit when he said his skates hit the pavement though at the end, as a hockey mom I just screamed stop ruining your skates! I liked how just because he became happier and calmer, it didn’t stop him from fighting or being a beast on the ice. No cheating or OM drama, slight OW drama maybe but not caused by the OW, virgin FMC, unknown history for MMC but no one during separation at least, dual POV, HEA and an epilogue 2 years in the future. I’ve loved this series, and I’m so sad to see it come to an end, but can’t wait for what’s next!

So hot!

Jordan and Sutton’s story in Pucking Forbidden is the perfect mix of second-chance romance, emotional depth, and off-the-charts heat. These two have been in love with each other for years, but misunderstandings and secrets—especially a major one involving Sutton’s brother—kept them apart.

Now, five years later, Sutton is done waiting. She takes control of her own story and demands answers from Jordan about what really happened all those years ago. Jordan, ever the protector, holds back at first. He’s terrified of hurting Sutton again, but his love for her never faded—not even when he thought she hated him.

Their chemistry? Absolutely explosive. From the moment they’re back in each other’s orbit, the heat between them is undeniable. I love that they can’t keep their hands off each other, and even more than that, I love how deeply they care. These two are meant to be, no question about it.

Nichole Rose delivers a beautiful, steamy, and emotional ride that proves true love is worth fighting for. After everything they’ve endured, Jordan and Sutton deserve every moment of happiness. This book is a must-read for anyone who loves protective heroes, determined heroines, and a romance that sizzles with every page.

This is book four in the author’s Pucked up Love series and features Jordan, one of the Bucks’ star players until he knocked out his team’s captain—his former best friend—during a game and ended up being sent back down to the minor leagues before joining the Washington Carvers. His only regret was that, in an instant, he lost any hope of a future with the only woman he would ever love—Sutton, his captain’s little sister, who never wanted to see him again.

Jordan is almost every woman’s dream; tender, loving and affectionate but, in the bedroom: dominant and demanding with a dirty mouth that was more than capable of making me jealous of a fictional FMC! I liked Sutton as well, she was no shrinking violet, standing up against Jordan’s initial arguments about a potential relationship between the two of them but she’s not the reason I loved it so much. That was all Jordan. Sweet, secksy AND obsessed? Sign me up!!

Recommending this one is a no brainer for anyone who likes their book boyfriends obsessed and a little unbalanced when it comes to their woman. Awesome book, 5 stars!

This is the 4th book in the Pucked Up Love series featuring an epic story to conclude this wonderful series. Jordan and Sutton's romance takes us on an emotional rollercoaster ride as they navigate the aftermath of the fight between Jordan and Sutton's brother Jamison who was his team captain. We watch as Jordan tries to pick up the pieces of his life after one incident altered his future and cost him everything including the love of his life Sutton. Sutton was completely in love with Jordan and then one incident changed everything now it's 5yrs later and Sutton wants to know what really happened so she goes to see Jordan hoping that he'll finally tell her the truth. Will the truth change anything between them? Can they find their way back to each other? You really need to read this emotional best-friend's sister, hockey romance to see what happens. I would definitely recommend reading this book as well as the previous books in this wonderful series.

We are back! and if you are anything like me, you've been chomping at the bit to find out what the deal is between Jordan and that dbag Jamison Peters. The amount of RAGE that I experienced 🤬... I can't even begin to verbalize (without spoilers) how much I support Jordan's actions on the ice that day 5 years ago. AND THIS IS JUST THE PROLOGUE!!!

Fast forwarded 5 years, and we catch up to our present day team and the same grumpy Jordan, and we have come to (sorta know 🤣) and very much love. Of course, she's coming back into his life 😍. Of course, things are going to get a little complicated. Of course, we want a repeat of 5 years ago because we all still hate her brother 🤷‍♀️.

Jordan and Sutton are absolutely 🔥🔥. What else can you expect when you lived someone from afar and then never got over them? Fireworks! I am not ready to leave this hockey team. I want more. This does mean I will reread the crap out of this series because every book has been fantastic.

"I made a grave mistake thinking I could survive sex with this man"

So steamin' hot!
My heart breaks for Sutton and Jordan, but he is definitely the bigger man and I have to agree that he did the right thing for Sutton at the time...she would still have lost everyone but would also have been in the middle of a media storm when she was too young to handle it.
Five years later and absence has not dimmed the love, if anything it is stronger and more potent, like a wild beast that has been caged...and what a beast it is when it is unleashed! Sizzling hot and bordering on feral, it almost becomes an addiction that kills them both....death by orgasm - what a way to go!
I love seeing them admit their feelings and embrace their love, it's FINALLY their time and they are all in, no secrets, no lies and no outside influences, just them, their love and lots of dirty, dirty sex.
I read this on Kindle Unlimited.

Holy heck this story was intense and kind of satisfying as well. We get Jordans story and how he became the grumpy closed off team member. Jordan lost the love of his life five years ago when he sacrificed his future for the well being of his woman and her relationship with her older brother(his then best friend). Now five years later Sutton is back in his life and now he won't hesitate to get his woman back no matter what. But what happens when she finds out the ugly truth about her brother?? An intense, kind of heartbreaking, sad story (about her brother) ,but with such a beautiful end for Sutton and her man. A bit different than the rest of the series, but my favorite 😍 Instalove(then), second chance, sweet, steamy, romantic, intense, romantic and totally safe (both of them were virgins- my favorite 😍) with an awesome HEA😍😍😍😍😍 and a whole bunch of past drama with her brother and his actions.

POV: Dual, First Person
MMC/FMC: Jordan and Sutton
OW(M)/Cheating: No
3rd act breakup: No
Instalove: Yes, but we don’t see it.
Series: Pucked Up Love, book 4.
Spice: Lots of fin spicy stuff.
Writing: This felt a little different from anything else by Nichole. There was the usual OTT, alpha demanding the love of his curvy, sassy queen, but I felt an overwhelming sense of healing too. It’s a beautifully written story of dealing with the consequences of other people’s actions.
Editing: There are a handful of editing errors. Not enough to take you out of the story or make you give up on the book.
Read this author before: Yes.
Available on KU: Yes.
Trigger Warnings: Victimization and Exploitation of a woman (not by MMC)
Should you read it: Yes, it was a great end to the series.

This is an ARC review.

Yes, please! This was freaking perfect! I've been wanting Jordan's story from the start and Nichole beyond delivered it. I was hooked from the beginning and could not put it down. I adored both characters so much. They were it for each other the second they met. Years apart and a fight with her brother didn't matter. It was true love! You don't get over your soul mate. I loved how grumpy Jordan was. I loved how far he would go to protect Sutton. Sutton was amazing too. She was strong. She wouldn't give up once she had Jordan back in her life. She was sweet but she also took up for herself. She wouldn't let Jordan push her away. It was just phenomenal. I loved that once they were together they were not going to let anything interfere, both of them were determined.

This is book number 4 of the Pucked Up Love series and focuses on Jordan and Sutton. Jordan risked his career in a big way 5 years prior when he stood up against his best friend for doing awful things. His whole life imploded and it took a while to build his reputation back up and get back to where he was. The worst part of the incident that took place was losing the one person he loved, Sutton. Sutton is his ex-best friend's younger sister and has no clue what actually went down 5 years prior. When Sutton re-appears in Jordan’s life, his world gets shaken up all over again. It takes time but eventually Jordan and Sutton are able to build a future together full of happiness. This was a great story and a great addition to the series.

I wanted to fight for this couple more than any others I've read recently. Jordan and Sutton's story has such a range of emotions. These two have been put thru the ringer over 5 years. The magnetic pull between them is undeniable which makes it so easy to finally take what they want. By the time their story is over you get more than you expect along with some forewarned trigger mentions. The guilty will pay, never quite what they should, but Nichole did give some closure. Overall it's a deep love story about a protective man and how he gets to have his princess where she's always belonged. Jordan portrays such a determination throughout to put Sutton first, no matter what it cost himself. Great job Nichole, I loved their story

Great little second chance romance with a solid plot.

I thoroughly enjoyed this one, along with the myriad of feels it had me cycling through from the very first, to very last page.

I couldn’t help but be enthralled by Sutton’s grit and determination as the story unfolded, along with her seeming to be mature beyond her years in the way she handled herself and navigated some cold, hard truths that not everyone is always as they seem.

Jordan’s broodiness and mistrust was warranted and believable given his past pain and experiences— also loved he wasn’t the serial ‘bunny banger’ as hockey players are often portrayed as.

Overall, I really enjoyed this, and appreciated the life lessons found within.

This was everything that I had wanted for Jordan's story. I've been waiting to hear more about our broody MMC since he was introduced in book one and I love him even more now.

Jordan fell for his best friend's little sister Sutton several years ago, but after a falling out of epic proportions, they lose touch. When she comes back, asking for the truth, what will he do?

This book made feel all the things. I laughed and I definitely cried. Sutton's relationship with her brother is so beautifully done and such an emotional journey. But Jordan and Sutton's relationship is the shining star. They are made for each other, and have loved each other through every little thing. They're stronger together and willing to fight for their love. Definitely a must read!

Jordan and Sutton

please be aware of the TW in the front of the book!!!
Jordan really knows the way to a girls heart...be a gentleman, stand up for people, be a sweetheart and make sure she knows you will always have her back..
Sutton knows something happened between her brother and Jordan. Jordan just knocked him on his butt...but she doesnt know why.
Fast forward 5 years and Sutton tracks Jordan down. She wants the truth in what happened back then. Jordan doesn't wanna tell her because he knows it will hurt her. He will do whatever it takes to make sure she isn't upset or hurt.
Sutton is strong and determined to find out what her brother did..but can she handle knowing what he did? Will she be upset with Jordan for not telling her years ago?

Pucking Amazing! 🤩

This story between Sutton and Jordon will melt your Kindle. Mine was smoking! I just loved everything about this book. This book is about Jordon, who finds his best friend (and the love of his life’s brother) doing something really awful and unforgivable in the locker room. That instance gets a little heated and Jordon makes a mistake that costs him his future in hockey. Fast forward five years and Sutton (the love of his life still) comes and confronts Jordon about the past incident. That begins a love re-blooming and it is beautiful and I am totally here for it! I hope you will enjoy Pucking Forbidden as well!

I received this as an arc from the author and I’m voluntarily leaving my honest review.

This book has me at a loss for words, how do I describe all the emotions that it made me feel? I don’t know if I can. It was so well written and emotional. I’m still trying to to wipe the tears from my eyes because I had all the emotions. But it wasn’t just an emotional story it also had all the steam that I could ever want and it managed to balance it out perfectly. Jordan and Sutton had so much chemistry and I loved how their bond grew. It was in my opinion the best book this author has ever written and I wish it didn’t have to end.

Jordan and Sutton’s story is a magnificent

Jordan and Sutton’s story is a magnificent tale that will readers riveted until you read The End.

Jordan and Sutton knew each other via her brother. Sutton is way younger than Jordan, so they both end up loving the other quietly and from a distance.

When Sutton's brother, Jamison, does the unthinkable, it causes a dominoe effect in several people's lives. Now, five years later, Sutton seeks out Jordan to get some answers. They both realize that their feelings are still there. Will Jordan and Sutton’s feelings finally matter enough where they seek their HEA?

I truly enjoyed this read 📚! I LOVED Jordan and Sutton.

Jordan & Sutton

I love this series. Like I anxiously wait for the next book to come out. I have seriously been waiting for Jordan’s story. And it did not disappoint. I could not possibly guess what was in his past with the Bucks and their captain. Jordan and Sutton deserve every bit of happiness they can get. Their story tore me up! It didn’t take long for them to fall into each other’s arms while they sorted everything out. So good!

Terrific story from start to finish. The secret that Jordan carried all of those years to protect Sutton was so difficult. He lost everything and still loved her so much. It was great watching him forgive and watching them grow together. I loved how strong and stubborn Sutton was to come after him and make him hear her. I also liked how he handled telling her the truth about what happened and giving her time and process that. He didn't push, just stayed steady and that was terrific.

Jordan’s Side

Not going to lie; I have been dying for this story. Since the start of the series I always wanted to know the details. Wanted to know the circumstances and what all went down and I love that I finally got Jordan’s story. I really enjoyed this book and watching the story unfold. I am sad to see this series end as I have loved getting to know this team and these amazing characters. But what a high note to land on. AND I got the story I really have been begging for. I love that this will be a book I can read again later!

Omg Jordan! He has been the mysterious sexy tattoo hockey player throughout the series and this is finally he's story. Loved it. The emotional support he gave Sutton as the truth of her brother slowly surfaces is heartwarming. Jordan maybe intimidating and cold to others but with Sutton he is a marshmallow. The dirty talking is hot and I want more. The banter with Jordan's teammates is hilarious. Great read. 5 stars !!

**This is an ARC review for my honest opinion**

Jordan and Sutton were just in each other's orbit and not really knowing each other's true feelings. It's horrible what lead to them not speaking to each other for so long. Trying to keep things a secret because you feel like you are protecting someone's feelings it's always for the best. But all in all they got to reconnect and things turned out great but they suffered a whole lot of headache before they arrived back to that point.
