Rate this book
Seth “Pumpkin” Andrich is a member of the Via Daemonia Motorcycle Club. He has fought hard to come back from rehab early, driven by the fierce desire to be home with his ten-month-old son, SJ. But the biggest shock awaits him when he crosses paths with Theodosia “Dosia” Woods, the enigmatic pagan woman who “pumpkined” him years ago. Unbeknownst to him, she has been raising their five-year-old daughter, JJ.
Thrown back into a world of roaring engines, club loyalties, and dangerous enemies, Pumpkin and Dosia must navigate a fragile co-parenting truce that quickly ignites into a burning second chance at love. Meanwhile, the return of Ollie’s mother stirs old wounds and fresh chaos for Jenna, Steel, and the VDMC brotherhood.
With threats closing in from all sides, Pumpkin and Dosia will have to fight not just for their family, but for the survival of their club and everything they hold dear.

Loved It

This is another addition to the Via Daemonia MC series and we finally out how Pumpkin got his name. At his patch in party Pumpkin and Dosia have one wild night together but neither can remember much of it. (That’s how you tell it was a really good night) When Dosia leaves right after that, Pumpkin has no idea how to find her. Six years later and she’s back.

I really loved this book especially with the laugh out loud moments that made this book even better. With all the twists and turns in this book it made it a big page turner for me. You can’t go wrong with any book from this series and I highly recommend Pumpkin.

Best cover ever

Besides the awesome cover... the story in the book was great too.
I think this may be one of my favorites from the series.
It has spice and drama and cute kids and babies and some quirky side characters (like the fmcs neice 😉 ).

The story of Pumpkin. The thing with reading is the way our imagination takes the characters authors create and pictures them.a certain way. Learning that Pumpkins officially was name vodka before what happened the pumpkin was hilarious. It explains the sTory of pumpkin being in the hospital after the accident. You know what accident if you have read ll the other Elise MC books. I love how precise Elise is and has written a story for every member of the MC and never confuses storyline and always mentions something we heard about in another book. I love the jokes the constantly on pumpkin from pumpkin everything to the pics and videos. Pumpkin story is unique and it's hard to write qithout giving away spoilers but if you have enjoyed any of the other stories by elise you will live Learning about pumpkin and dosia.I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Oh, I loved this book so much more than I thought I would! It went beyond any expectation I could have ever imagined!

Pumpkin and Dosia had a amazing night together and when Pumpkin woke up alone, hugging a pumpkin, he got his road name and years of teasing from his MC brothers along with trying to figure out who his mystery woman was and where she disappeared to.

Years later when Dosia is called back to town by her cousin and given the family bookstore to take over it’s a big surprise when she and Pumpkin come face to face again and the attraction is still there, but she thinks he’s with someone else and they have a child together. Then when he comes into her bookstore one day and finds out he has a daughter he never knew about, it doesn’t get handled the best by him and I was afraid that I was really going to start disliking him, but his head was put on straight and he works to make things right and clear up the confusion on his relationship status. Realizing he is a single dad to an infant and the woman that’s always around is his nanny, Dosia lets Pumpkin in to not only her life, but fully into their daughter’s life.

During this time, Dosia has a big falling out with her aunt who is more like a sister, Calliope. Calliope is somewhat of a “witch” and gets feelings and glimpses of things to come that usually end up coming true. My heart truly broke for her when she revealed that she knows who her future husband will be, but the time isn’t right and she has to stand by and watch from afar as her lives his life and is with other women until he is ready for her to be in his life (which may end up happening sooner than it was supposed to be).

Not only did the two main characters have me in all the feels, but so many of the supporting characters had my heart breaking and my breath catching. Steel & Jenna, Calliope and Keys were just a few that I can’t wait to get their heart wrenching stories and I know it will rip me apart and put me back together in the best way.

Pumpkin’s struggle through his recovery and how the MC coddles to him frustrated him (and me), but the way he handles it is perfect and hilarious!

As much as this book is emotionally a roller coaster, there is still plenty of hilarious antics and steamy scenes to balance it all out and it comes together in a truly wonderful and entertaining story that leaves just enough breadcrumbs for you to anticipate what will happen next!

I dread the day this series may end, but I love each book more and more and they are all on my must re-read list for sure!

3.5⭐ 2🌶️ 4❤️

I received and e-ARC of this book for free and here is my honest review.

✨Review Highlights✨
- Single parents
- Motorcycle club romance
- Interesting characters
- Good story
- Good writing
- Not a lot of the other characters from the series are heavily involved
- Would still recommend, but is not my favorite book in the series.

I liked this book, I love this series as a whole, but this book was probably my least favorite so far. It is still really enjoyable and I loved the main characters of the story, however there were some things that I just didn't really like that happened.

I felt like with how fast the relationship happened that Pumpkin hid a lot of what was going on in his MC life from Dosia. Not just the normal club business that they keep from the ol'ladies but a lot of other things that I think could have been shared. Especially when she accepted being his. He should have shared more about what's been going on that the others know, so she is prepared if she is out with their kids. I don't know why but it just felt off to me like he was hiding it.

I also wasn't a fan of him keeping her from the club. I understand that he just wanted to keep their privacy for a bit, but I feel like while they were building their relationship privately at her house, the others could have been getting to know Dosia more and she could have felt more included. I feel like him keeping her from the club strained relationships between both Dosia/Pumpkin and the club.

I did enjoy the story and their romance. I loved how devoted Pumpkin was to her from the moment he met her again. I feel like their romance was both sweet and spicy. I also liked the suspense of the second plot that was happening surrounding the club itself, and maybe that is why I don't like that there is not a lot of the the club in this book I wanted more of that plot line and to figure out what is going on there.

Overall it is a good story and I really enjoyed the characters. It is pretty fast paced, but there are some moments I think slow the story down too much. I would recommend this if you have enjoyed the previous books in the series, I think there are things in this book that you need to know in order to continue the series. And if you are a fan of Pumpkin and want to know exactly what happened for him to get his road name, this is going to be a funny good time for you.

Six years after a drunken hookup, Pumpkin is finally reunited with the woman he has never been able to forget, but had feared was a figment of his imagination. Be it Faith or a little Wiccan magic, Seth (Pumpkin) and Dosia are give a second chance at love) Both have been through so much in those six years, including becoming parents under less than ideal circumstances. Pumpkin is lucky to be alive after a horrific accident and is still very much in the recovery phase. Now that he has seen Dosia again, Seth is determined to claim her, but she comes with an unexpected and absolutely adorable surprise….JJ, a daughter he never knew about.

Dosia and Seth (Pumpkin) have superheated chemistry, an indefinable connection and just a bit of magic on their side. Protective and possessive Seth has his work cut out for him with Dosia. He wants everything wrapped up quickly with Dosia becoming his wife and her and their kids living together in his home. But Dosia wants to go slow. She is feisty, determined to stand her ground, independent and just a bit intimidated by the MC world. She also has a possessive streak, and does not like it when other women show Seth attention. Like Seth, Dosia has a big heart and is more than willing to accept another child into her life. She is also fiercely protective of both Seth and the children. Dosia desperately wants a future with Seth too, but she has some concerns, won’t be rushed and doesn’t want her Wiccan aunt to interfere. The road forward has a few bumps, a few surprises, lots of spicy action and a happily ever after.

This book really illustrates the family aspect of the Via Daemonia MC. They love to tease and rile each other up, but when one of them is in trouble they rally and offer unconditional support, protection and encouragement. They certainly do so for Pumpkin after his horrific accident and during his long recovery, though the moment he makes it clear he is tired of being coddled, they let loose with the teasing and pranks. They also unconditionally welcome Dosia and little JJ into their fold, as well as rally around Steel and Jenna when trouble shows up at the gates to the compound. I can’t wait to read the next books in this series.

I wholeheartedly recommend this riveting book.

If you’re looking for a MC romance with a found-Cinderella and slight witchy vibe that will get you in the mood for fall then look no further. I received an advanced reader copy of this book from BookSirens and the author for my honest opinion. All thoughts are my own.
This continuation of the VDMC series finally explains the story about Seth/Pumpkin and how he got his road name. I’ll admit at first Pumpkin wasn’t really someone on my radar but his love for his son and the strength it took to overcome his trauma had me wanting to learn more and this book did not disappoint.
Dosia has had a unique upbringing but she thought her Prince Charming was a deceiver at first due to some assumptions of her own, causing her to flee. Their second meet up is hilarious with a feeling of mistaken identity due to a name change on Pumpkin’s part (which really is because of Dosia if you think about it). Their connection never went away but the spice level with these two is not as intense as some of the other couples (3/5).
I like the blended family aspect between Pumpkin and Dosia. It further emphasizes that the VDMC members while all tough, and former military really created this “brotherhood “ to continue the family dynamic they were missing when they all got out. And the fact that while you love your family sometimes they drive you crazy (Dosia’s sister and the pumpkin jokes).
Those of you familiar with the series, which I highly recommend will be happy to see many a familiar faces (yes I’m talking about you Scar), where it almost feels like catching up with old friends. Though this book is a bit softer than others in the series there is still big drama between the FMC and MMC and most especially at the very end (pretty please let the author release the next story soon). Overall a great soft MC romance. 4 stars

So this is the 3 one in the series that I have read and man! I still love this series so much and need to finish them all. They are standalone and the author does put notes in the beginning to help with knowing who the people in the book are cause there is alot but still, I really want to hear there stories cause their are parts that I got a little confused on but thank god the author explains it.

This one is about pumpkin! 🎃 he gets his name from waking up after a night of fun and holding a pumpkin. That isn’t what happened and he couldn’t really remember so now he needs to think about and try to find out.

Then you might Dosia , she comes home after leaving 5 years before and start to live with her aunt. She knows that she needs to tell her daughter father that they had a baby 5 years ago but not sure how to go about it…

So much stuff happens in this book! You have motorcycle accidents, finding the father of Dosia daughter that is 5 years old, people finding love. So much laughter and fun to get to know more of the character . There is alot to take in but it run so beautifully together that you can’t help to want more.

And I love that Scotty as in this one! I read his Halloween story last year and absolutely adored it. This author has a great way of adding all the characters back into her books but you u don’t get so confused or mixed up!

Can’t wait for the next one to come out in December 25.

The reason Pumpkin is called Pumpkin is revealed and it’s hilarious.
Dosia returns to mount Grove to run the family bookshop so her aunt can open a new age shop a few doors down. She left to go to college but had to drop out because she fell pregnant which also the reason she didn’t return home seeing as it was a one night stand with a biker called Vodka. She did plan on telling him but didn’t like what she saw through the window of the bar, that’s not the sort of person she wanted her baby around. I don’t agree with her decision but understand it.
Vodka, now called Pumpkin , is recovering from his accident and being bad single father to SJ, witnessing his baby mama be executed by the club for her betrayal of the club ( not sure how I felt about that either) but he never forgot the woman from ‘that’ night, the one his brothers never believed existed.
She did, she’s back, and she has a little girl that has his mother’s eyes.
Else where 2 old faces turn up neither particularly welcome and the club seems to have a new enemy intent on framing a member

This is one of the best books in the series. I mean don't get me wrong I love all the other ones but this one just really hits different for me. I really like how this book was set up. It clearly lays out a foundation to build upon and shows growth especially with the characters. I also like knowing how Pumpkin got his road name. And Dosia she is something special. The way the main characters met was perfection but the aftermath really intrigued me because it was a one-night deal but for the MMC it was a little bit of a fuzzy memory that he got teased by his brothers for and then years later things come full circle with everything coming together. Plus there's some other things going on in the background aside from the main story which adds to everything. I don't want to say too much but that's just the gist of things. Overall this book was well written. It's a fantastic story and an incredible read.

Thank you to the publisher for an advanced review copy. My opinions are my own and freely expressed.

I have been waiting for Pumpkins book since we first heard why he is called pumpkin. Though I feel like most of his and S.J.'s story has been being to!d in the previous Via Daemonia MC books and this one just kind of tied it in a neat bow. Not as much action due to his injuries and mostly focused on Dosia's family. Pumpkin kept her away from the club until late in the book, which disappointed me.

Overall I still loved this book and Pumpkin and Dosia are perfect for each other and are finally together raising their family.

Of course Elise likes to set us up with little Easter eggs for future books. I am nervous about all the things stone and Jenna are going through and of course finding out what is up with Caliope.

One of my favorite parts was Scar trying to hide from Tally being playful with her. We get to see how far Scar has come since meeting Tally.

Pumpkin is book nine of the Via Daemonia Motorcycle Club Series.

We finally get to see a bit of the history of how Pumpkin got his road name. I loved how even dealing with a hangover and trying to get his club brothers to stop harassing him, he still had thoughts of being with Dosia, even with the limited amount of time they were together. However, she is gone in the morning and doesn't even remember her name to find her. Now years later, Dosia is called back to town by her family, and Pumpkin will discover the secret she has been keeping from him this whole time.

The story between Dosia and Pumpkin is them reuniting and trying to get past the hidden secrets. However, there is a story going on with the club, most specifically Steel. We will have to read the next book to see where everything is going to go for him and the club.

Overall it was a good story, but I do have to say, this Is the first book where I wasn't a fan of one of the main characters. I've never been a big fan of the secret baby trope because most of the time, the reason for keeping the baby secret isn't a good one. Quite frankly, I felt pumpkin had every right to be mad, and his thinking wasn't wrong or out of line to me. I felt the mfc got off way too easy and still didn't completely take responsibility for her selfishness and lets be honest, her jealousy which she used to punish him. I actually liked her cousin because even though she didn't put it as bluntly as I felt was needed, she was honest to an extent with her cousin letting her know she was in the wrong. Overall, it wasn't a bad read, but I do look forward to the next book.

Pumpkin is a well written funny book about family and you will laugh, be in awe and not be able to put it down. The books in this series can be read as stand alones and the author does include a chart of names and who they are and how they all relate but you might read the books in order to enjoy them more. This is Pumpkin and Dosia story and we see how Pumpkin got his road name, and how the Club reacts to the accidents that took and injured their members. When Pumpkin meets Dosia again 5 years later and the chemistry is still there and finds out about her story and his daughter this story does a very good job with all the emotions, and stresses of co-parenting and nothing is held back. This author can tell a realistic story but still give you the fairytale. So well done

Pumpkin

Once again, another amazing read out of this series about the Via Daemonia MC! This book was about pumpkin and his struggle to come back after a car crash left him in the hospital for months. It is also about him finding a lost love. And of course we get to keep up with everything that’s going on with the rest of the MC Brothers. The introduction of Dosia and Caliope bring much added humor into the storyline. I’m hoping Caliope has a storyline coming up because I enjoy her which she ways! I didn’t know if I would like this series when I first was introduced to it, but I do, and even though my reading commitments take me away from it, I come back to it to finish getting to know what happens with the rest of the members. Highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Finally, we learn how “Pumpkin” got his name!

Pumpkin and Dosia first met at his “Patch-In” party, but after a wild night of drinks and fun, neither of them could remember exactly what happened between them. Fast forward to Dosia returning to town and unexpectedly running into Pumpkin—and that’s when the sparks start flying again.

As their memories slowly come back, so does their undeniable chemistry. It’s a super fun story with a great mix of humor, romance, and a couple you can’t help but root for. Loved seeing their connection reignite!

I enjoyed this book, especially of how Pumpkin got his road name. Although the story can be read as a standalone, it may be better to have read previous books in the series for background information. Pumpkin is recovering from extensive injuries from crashing his motorcycle and he is also trying to be a single dad to his young son. Dosia has also returned to town and another bombshell is dropped on him. This second chance romance deals with Dosia's insecurities, her unique family and drastic changes to the Via Daemonia MC. Good story with a lead in to the next book, which I can't wait to read.

Good book

4.5 star
Loved the book. There's something about this author's found family aspect of the MC that is top notch. And this book has all the makings of a good romance. I love the storyline. I'm sad to see that steel is stepping down.... But I had it in my head that Pumpkin was going to be the new president. I do think that Ghost will be good though. But I think pumpkin needs a purpose and to feel he's doing more for the club. So I think I'm that way, it has a shortcoming, but adding some kind of epilogue would fix what it's missing..... But that's why it lost .5 star.

Swoony Read!

I’ve been waiting for this book since his accident. We’ve heard bits and pieces about him since then but the anticipation has been hard. Dosia is the perfect person for Pumpkin, although I was a bit mad at her for keeping her secret from him, but the two together compliment one another perfectly.

I love seeing Pumpkin as the father he has become. He makes my heart swoon. This is one of the more fun full length reads in this series and I can’t wait to see and hear more about this couple in the books to come!

I love the VDMC and gobble them down. They are all standalones so grab this one and start this amazing journey!

Another great book. This one had a lot of funny moments in it. Pumpkin was celebrating when he met a woman. They hooked up but when he woke in the morning he was alone cradling a pumpkin and that is how he got his nickname. 6 years later the mystery woman came back into town. He didn’t see her right away. One night he was coming back from somewhere with his infant son and the nanny. They stopped at the steak house where Dosia was on a date. Her date was being forceful with her when she got up to leave after he insulted her. Pumpkin saw this happen and was shocked when he got to her. Everything changed for both of them after that.

I’ve been waiting for this one since the very first hint of Pumpkin’s story—and it was everything. Full of charm, heart, and the kind of emotional punch that sneaks up on you, this book delivers in all the best ways.

Pumpkin finally gets his moment in the spotlight, and it’s as satisfying as you'd hope. We get deeper layers, unexpected twists, and a romance that feels earned in every sense.

This story isn’t just about love—it’s about change. As Pumpkin steps into his new chapter, you can feel the rumble of something bigger on the horizon.

Pumpkin is a fun character, I like his portrayal in this story. Dosia had to grow on me. Wasn't a fan of her actions and assumptions, but she grew on me. However, I'm glad the two got their act together and found their HEA. I enjoyed Dosia and Pumpkin's interactions. They're good together. Pumpkin is determined to get his woman, and I'm here for it. Dosia may as well just hand him her heart, because he's not giving her a choice.

There is a good storyline, characters, humor, fun, and loving. Another good book in the series.

Just like every other brother in Via Daemonia Pumpkins route to his one and only is as rocky and bumpy as trying to ride through the Las Vegas desert. None of his brothers believed him six years ago but now they do. Dosia (Theodosia) has come back to the home and family she moved away from six years ago only this time not alone she’s bringing her daughter as well she just hopes she’ll have time to settle in before she bumps into her daughters dad, of course she doesn’t.

Wow!
These stories just get better and better. Pumpkin finally gets his woman.

Pumpkin and Dosia first met at his Patch-In party, and after a wild night of drinks and fun, neither of them could remember exactly what happened between them. She leaves and he is left holding the pumpkin (literally).
Fast forward to 6 years later Dosia returns to town with a little bit of baggage and unexpectedly running into Pumpkin—and that’s when the sparks start flying again.

Loved it, can't wait for more.

Pumpkin

After his "accident", Pumpkin is feeling less than a man. He's finally released from the hospital but he's still not 100% and he feels like everyone is looking down on him and not treating him like a full brother. By chance, he runs into his mystery Pumpkin girl at a restaurant and his feelings from before are as strong as ever. What he doesn't realize is he left behind a seed that grew into a pumpkin. Now he's trying to win over his love and be a father to his pumpkins while possibly dealing with super seeds again...

Another spectacular book in this series, Pumpkin's story is one that readers have been excited for. His and Dosia's journey will resonate with those that have struggled with co-parenting and getting their second chance. I always enjoy stopping in at the VDMC and visiting all our favorite bikers and their ol'ladies. Fast-paced action, tumultuous experiences and more abound within the pages of this book.

I love Pumpkin!!! I caught myself laughing at all the shenanigans the other members do to him with all the pumpkins. It irritates him but I think he secretly loves it too. The story behind the name change is hilarious. All these years later….

I loved Pumpkin and Dosia’s story! There were a lots of twists and turns also included.

Can’t wait to see what happens next! I love this series! Great book and series!! Check this out!!

What a great book. Brilliant characters that show their strength and their vulnerability, I loved all the pumpkin references and this band of brothers will support each other and their extended family to the death. Pumpkin and Dosia will try to make their unusual combination of a family work though tensions will run hot and heated. They need a fighting chance and the fight is on inside and outside the club.
