🏠 JPD is an active member of International Thriller Writers (ITW) and an Associate Fellow of the Royal Historical Society. He holds a BSc from Loughborough University and resides in Warwickshire, where he enjoys sports, history, reading, contemplating the meaning of life, planning book-related travels and pondering plot twists.
This is another excellent book by John Paul Davis, number 6 in his White Hart series, which this time is about the search for previously unknown Chaucer manuscripts. As with all his books, the background and history are thoroughly researched and explained in great detail, and this includes much information about Chaucer and his works (including the Canterbury Tales), and various locations around the UK that are involved in the search.
The characters are mostly well known from previous books in the series. The plot is exciting and compelling, and I strongly recommended this book.
