What’s a cupid to do when she’s not in the Christmas spirit?

Make the men who broke her heart fall to their knees begging for forgiveness, of course.

Candy has spent the last six months pouting around Cupidale, wondering why the two men she finally had a connection with haven’t reached out. What good is a cupid if she isn’t lovable?

But Krampus and Mortem have realized their mistake in not pursuing the cupid of their dreams and are ready to grovel. It might take a Christmas Miracle, but the gossip mills in Cupidale say we might have another match made in heaven.

That is, as long as Candy feels they’ve earned her heart.

5 stars obviously!

Sarah Blue has done it again but this time with some Christmas cheer. I hope with A LOT OF GROVELING and being a good girl she gives us another Love in the Veil novella featuring Morticia and a new cupid.

Candy, Mortem and Krampus the three most unlikely beings you would ever thought be in a throuple, but I am here to tell the tall tale that it works and it is so deliciously sweet.

A true second chance romance, with lots of groveling to make up to Candy the sweetest cupid in all of Cupidale there was, she's a bit insecure, definitely all in her head and overthinks too much, but when she sets her eyes on Krampus and Mortem head Reaper of Purgatory she wants nothing more than a true love relationship between them all.

After a night of fun and dancing the three beings are hot and ready for a night to remember but unfortunately Mortem and Krampus get overwhelmed and leave Candy high and dry (pun intended).

For the next 6 months Krampus and Mortem go on like the poor, pathetic beings they deserve to be while Candy wraps herself up in work and loathing after them two.

Krampus and Mortem get another shot at Candy's heart at this years Christmas Party held in Cupidale and lets just say the do not disappoint miss Candy, Christmas tree butt plug anyone?

I love how Candy, Krampus and Mortem all find love with each other and acceptance of each of themselves to truly be themselves.

If you are looking for a fun, non serious good smutty read checkout Love in the Veil Series it will not disappoint.

“You’re a badass cupid. You’re full of feminine rage and inspiration. Those two gigantic men outside want to worship you. They want this as bad as you do, don’t live in fear, Candy.”

Something about this 4th installment in the Love in the Veil series just didn't quite hit home like the first three did. I think its something to do with the worldbuilding, it didn't carry the same feel as the previous books did. I liked each of the characters but didn't love them, you know?

I did enjoy the cameos of the other characters, and we do meet a few new ones in this read! I'm predicting the next book will be about Doom and his mystery man... ;)

Another super sweet romance from Sarah Blue❤️❤️❤️
Krampus, Candy and Mortem all met at the Love in the Veil party approximately six-months ago. We’re not sure what happened then (some kissing?) but it left all 3 of them wanting more, but unsure how to proceed. In the meantime, Candy was broken-hearted from not hearing a peep from either one after the momentous event💔

Luckily (and thanks to the Cupid Love), they see each other at the Christmas party and realize they all need to just go for it and jump in with both feet❤️❤️❤️

I really enjoyed this spicy short holiday series. It was sweet to see such very different people come together and I’m sure there will be plenty more love matches for those among the veil (even if we don’t get anymore of their stories😉). The series also spends a lot of time focusing and celebrating those differences and about people learning to accept those differences in themselves.

It was a really great series and I definitely recommend it- plus it’s not SUPER SEASONAL and can definitely be enjoyed any time of the year.

If you’re in the mood for something fun, funny, and full of spice, Jolly Cupid by Sarah Blue is a perfect holiday pick! 🎄✨ One of my favorite things about Sarah Blue is that you always know what you’re going to get: a wildly entertaining story that spoils the FMC, a sprinkle of whimsy, and just the right amount of indulgence. Her books are my go-to whenever I’m in a slump or craving something lighthearted and over-the-top in the best way. This one was no different!

This is book four in the series (yes, I’m late to the party 🙈), but it totally works as a standalone. That said, I’ll definitely be circling back to read about the other couples! In this book, we’ve got quite the cast of characters: Candy, a Cupid who’s been left heartbroken; Krampus, who is somehow part terrifying beast and part golden retriever energy 🐾; and Mortem, a Reaper who resides in Purgatory. You might think this lineup screams dark, heavy monster romance, but it’s actually the sweetest, cutest MMF dynamic.

The story revolves around Krampus and Mortem groveling (and spoiling 👏) Candy after they ghosted her six months ago following a brief but magical encounter. If you’re a fan of groveling, this book absolutely delivers—it’s 123 pages of pure holiday chaos, cuteness, and spice. 💕 You can easily devour it in an hour or two.

So, if you’re looking for a short, fun, spicy holiday read with a healthy dose of groveling, Jolly Cupid is here to deliver all the festive feels. 🎄💘

This was definitely a quick read and nailed the Christmas vibes I was looking for. Lots of spicy scenes, which were fun, but the story itself was just… okay. I’m a sucker for a good “why choose,” so that was a win, and I really liked how different the MMCs were—plus the whole “cross swords” thing was a nice touch! They worked great as a team and still managed to put the FMC first, which I appreciated.

That said, I didn’t love it overall. I feel like maybe if I’d read the earlier books in the series, I’d have been more into it? It felt like some of the characters or backstory might have been set up before, and I just missed out because I jumped in here.

In the end, it was a fun, steamy holiday read, but it didn’t totally hook me. If you’re a fan of the series or just want something spicy and Christmassy, it’s worth checking out!

Candy, Krampus, and Mortem were everything I wanted and more! I fell in love with Candy through the previous book Daddy Cupid and I wanted her story so bad!!!

Candy is the cutest, chaotic ball of energy you can't help but to fall in love with her. After a stolen moment with Krampus and Mortem...they ghost her!! they all struggle through 6 months of thinking the others moved on with the guys thinking Candy moved on with the other.

Candy, Krampus, and Mortem have the cutest love story where those men GROVEL and prove that Candy is the only Cupid for them. And Mortems decoloration of love?!? Talk about fucking swoon worthy!

Christmas Monster MMF

Candy, Krampus, and Mortem are cute and all, but the real star is Calanis! I adored this sweet little elf. Every time she was on the page, it's was better.

Candy is very sweet, and both men are devoted to making up for their mistakes and taking care of her 100%. Krampus and Mortem do not have an immediate emotional connection, both viewing Candy as their main partner. But they do decide to explore that side of their relationship.

Jolly Cupid

This fourth book in the Love in the Veil series is so good. We get to see cupid, Candy, try to come to grips with how she feels about Krampus and the head reaper, Mortem. I enjoyed this book. It had old couples from other books pop in on the story. But the main focus of this book is all Candy/Krampus/Mortem.

Beta read.

All I want for Christmas is a Krampus this year. But the kind that likes to be punished and wants to grovel.

Thankfully, Sarah knows what I want. Jolly Cupid is a lighthearted (and dirty 👀) holiday novella featuring a cupid, a reaper, and Krampus. It was weirdly cute, weirdly hot, and nothing turns me on more than good communication between consenting adults.

It was a cute story I couldn’t help but binge read and was the perfect read for the season; a little bit of a paranormal monster romance that y’all know I can never resist.

♥ [Candy + Krampus + Mortem] ♥

In two sentences: Candy’s not feeling the holiday love, but Krampus and Mortem are ready to grovel. Will these two win back her heart, or are they on Cupid’s naughty list for good?

Tropes:
📌xmas novella
📌so spicy
📌reverse harem
📌MMF
📌paranormal universe

My Review:

🇺🇸 I wanted spice, and Sarah Blue delivered perfectly as usual! Her universe is so fun and creative, and her characters always feel fresh and exciting. The chemistry between Candy, Krampus, and Mortem is absolutely sizzling—Sarah balances the spice and the emotional connection so well. This novella was everything I hoped for: festive, steamy, and just the right amount of naughty!

------------------------------

This throuple dynamic was defiantly different to the throuple in "Daddy Cupid". In "Daddy Cupid', You knew that everyone had feelings for each other and it felt natural. In this book it took a bit longer for me to see who liked who. I knew that Krampus and Mortem had feelings for Candy but when it came to their feelings for each other, it felt like they only liked each other sexually not romantically. They admit to having feelings for each other near the end but I felt like I needed to see more action taken for me to believe it.

My favourite character in this book was Krampus. To me, he put in more effort in wooing Candy and Mortem. He gave off similar vibes as Gloom with his confident personality, openly being submissive in the bedroom and not being afraid to go after what he wants.

This story ends with a HEA for this throuple 🎄😚

Would I read this series again? Yes. They're all really quick reads and if I wanted to, I could easily read all these books together in one day.

My favourite is still "Daddy Cupid" with "Petty Cupid" coming in at a close 2nd. "Lucky Cupid" & "Jolly Cupid" share 3rd place in my opinion. I enjoyed both stories but they're both missing the connection that our couples had in Book 1 & 3.

3.5 ⭐️ (but gladly rounding up because of Mortem) 😈

If Cupid, the Grim Reaper, and Krampus walking into a bar sounds like the setup for a wicked joke to you, then Jolly Cupid is the punchline you didn’t know you needed. Sarah Blue spins a weirdly charming and wickedly funny tale about unlikely love, wrapped in pastel pinks and bone-chilling black. A unique take on love and the holidays, blending the macabre with the adorable in a way that’ll leave you smiling—and definitely a little hungry for more.

Cupid Candy is exactly what her name promises: a whirlwind of giggles, glitter, and pure love-matching optimism. She’s the heart of this story, dragging two grumpy-but-lovable supernatural beings out of their comfort zones. Mortem (Head Grim Reaper himself) is the ultimate brooding workaholic, crushed under the weight of death’s responsibilities and in desperate need of a hug—or, apparently, a Cupid to shake things up. And then there’s Krampus, the retired bad boy with a heart of gold, who’s here for the laughs, the snacks, and the occasional wisecrack that keeps everyone grounded.

The interactions between these three are where Jolly Cupid shines. Grim’s stoicism plays beautifully against Krampus’s devil-may-care attitude, while Cupid flutters around like a chaotic ball of sunshine determined to make these two idiots grovel for something they did six months ago. Watching their dynamic evolve is both hilarious and heart-warming. Mortem trying (and failing) to loosen up while Krampus pokes fun at his gloom and Candy schemes to make them beg for her forgiveness? Delightful.

That said, as always, the novella format doesn’t give this story enough room to breathe. Just when you start sinking into the delicious tension between Mortem's brooding stares, Krampus’s cheeky grins, and Cupid’s relentless cheer, it’s over. The concept begs for a full-length novel to really dive into the relationships and the characters’ backstories.

If you’re in the mood for something festive, funny, and delightfully offbeat, this book is absolutely worth your time—just be prepared to finish it wishing there was more on the plate.

These Cupid books are entertaining, slim on a lot of plot, and full of spice. This Cupid book is all about Candy's story with Mortem, who is the head Reaper, and Krampus - who is in the world of Santa Claus. The trio have been intimate before, but Mortem and Krampus both freaked out and ghosted Candy and she was left wondering what she did wrong for 6 months. Only, both guys wanted each other AND Candy and panicked when they felt feelings and ran away instead of nutting up and admitting what they were feeling. Now they're finally ready to commit to Candy, but they definitely have some making up to do, and they need to show her that they're committed to seeing this through. The guys make some grand gestures and show up, but mostly they prove to her that they're committed to her NOW with their dicks. And things get pretty spicy, I would say 2.5/5. The only reason that I wouldn't rate it higher is that the author alludes to a lot of different things and then doesn't really follow through on many of them. Krampus being submissive in nature is only really touched on, and the relationship between Mortem and Krampus would have made for such GREAT scenes! But we only get the tip of the iceberg in this book and that's really a bummer. The book is still definitely worth the read for some low drama, high spice, and multiple partner scenes. Get your smut on!

I do have one physical note. Candy gets it on with Krampus in his beast form. And in that form, he's massive, like 7' tall and everything gets larger proportionally as well, so he's got a massive dick. And the Cupid's have purported flexible bodies that can really take a pounding since sex is kinda their jam. But ... when his beast form's dick is so large that Candy's hands "barely touched when her hands were wrapped around it" .... there's just NO FREAKING WAY that thing would go inside her ... at all. That's like the size of a protein bottle. Freaking massive. I'm just thinking that no amount of Cupid magic would stretch her to get pounded like a hydraulic press.

“Has all the Christmas spirit fucked with your head? There’s no world where we’re good enough and can give her everything she needs.”
Krampus shrugs. “That’s why there’s two of us. Maybe together we can be enough. I bring the fun, my large dick, and gentleness. You bring…well I’m not sure what you bring to the table, but we can workshop it with the elves.”

6 months ago (in Daddy Cupid) Candy, Mortem, and Krampus all hooked up, then the boys fled Cupidale and Candy has been nursing a broken heart ever since (Mortem and Krampus have been broken hearted too). Krampus can't leave the North Pole - so he gets a pass but Mortem is the head Reaper, he coulda done something but he's wrestling with his self-esteem issues. Now Krampus is retired and Mortem's assistant has blackmailed him into attending another Cupidale event, can these two finally get their shit together and win back their girl?

Jolly Cupid | Love in the Veil Book 4 | Sarah Blue
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This series is just so fun. Each book is enjoyable and I like how they're all tied into whatever holiday is coming up. Is there plot in this book, no, no there really isn't and you gotta be okay with that. These are just silly little romance stories that don't take themselves too seriously and neither should you!

We do get some solid groveling from both men (butt plug apologies anyone). All three characters are able to speak up and work through their issues and show through their actions that they're willing to make the changes needed to be with one another.

I would rank this one third overall in the series so far. While I did really enjoy it, I just wanted more from it. More what, I'm not sure. I think more of the three of them together outside the bedroom. Like I wish Mortem had been there when Krampus was showing Candy around the North Pole. I think getting to see them more as a unit like that would have been really sweet.

I'd like Morticia's story NOW please:
"I like men who shut the fuck up and do as they're told. Very hard to come by."
