Christmas with the CEO: A sapphic holiday novella

Rate this book
Holiday work party hook-up meets cinnamon roll melts the ice queen in this sapphic holiday novella.

All Ashe wants is to keep a job for longer than it takes to get through the line at the DMV. Having secured a gig as a receptionist at a growing tech start-up, she hopes that this time she can keep her destructive honesty from getting her fired again. But she may not succeed, because she can't hide her attraction to the CEO.

They call Lenore an ice queen behind her back, but she really wants to be seen in a different light by her employees. She's hoping that by throwing the holiday party at her place, she can soften her image. And the new receptionist seems like just the person to help her do it. Only Ashe is softening more than her reputation as she pushes her way through the cracks in Lenore's heart.

Will the CEO fall for the receptionist? Or will this Christmas wish go up in flames?

Ashe is a new receptionist at a company, and her boss Lenore is outwardly an ice queen…
This is a fun, angst free, stress free, festive novella. A bit crazy at times, but fantastic for a warm romance and some laughs.

This was a nice short story. I can't really say it was exciting as much wasn't happening.

I nearly rated it less , however, it was nicely written. It was just unfortunately the tone of the book it stayed quite flat. It had so much potential to be exciting in places like the club but each scene felt more monotone.

I will keep an eye out for the other to see what's next.

I appreciate the time they author has but into their craft.

Just okay

I was hoping for a little more from this book. The editing needed to be better as there were a lot of spelling and grammatical errors. There was tension but no spice, which I was hoping for. The writing style wasn't bad, so I would read another book by this author in the future.

2 stars. The writing wasn't my favorite but it wasn't bad. I just found this to be boring and I didn't like the characters. Unfortunate but I would check out something else by this author.

Lovely 😊

Very nice but there was no 🔥, steamy moments for our FMC's. Slowburn even for a short story but a no indept action from our FMC's heated moments. A 5 🌟 all the way.
