My Brother’s Best Friend

Rate this book
A new story in the same universe as "If I Can Find You" and “If I Can Keep You”

Even though Quinn Bradley has to spend the summer with her dad and stepmother while her mom and stepfather go on vacation, she thought it would be a typical summer. Reuniting with her big brother, Chandler, and her old friends sounded like fun after a long school year. Among those friends is her brother's best friend, Travis Thompson.
Quinn is reminded of Travis's comedic personality, but it's no joke when he starts flirting with her— despite her brother’s clear warning against his friends dating his sister.
For her brother's sake, Quinn tries to ignore Travis's charm, but it's hard when he keeps her laughing all the time.
Quinn is also cautious about getting too attached to Travis, knowing he'll head off to college in the fall while she still has another year of high school left. Her last relationship didn’t go so well, so she's on the fence.
As the weeks pass, she finds herself stuck between her feelings for Travis and the desire to avoid drama with her brother.

Will their unexpected romance survive beyond the summer? Or will her brother's protective nature squash their chances before it's even begun?

OMG

Quinnie had me stressing and wanting to shake her. Like girl you going push him away. I was rooting for them but Q needs to heal and communicate better. I hope college helps her to mature more because whew Travis was patient and as understanding as she allowed. Can’t wait to read book two.

This is the cutest mist rewarding young adult story. When Quinn goes to her dad’s for the summer to spend time with him and her brother and stepmom and an old friend. Who would have thought that your brothers best friend would greet you and both of your banter and crushes come out as if your just seeing each other for the 1st time!!! Both of your know that it’s been Sid it’s a no go and all of your brothers friends know your off limits. However Travis is not trying to hear all of that he applies pressure and wants your attention and only your attention. I loved their chemistry and how they navigated for a while but Quinn being a teenager was dealing and leading by emotions. Travis is a little old but he followed her lead. It was the cutest to watch it all play out but my goodness it has you looking like dang are we all this annoying at these ages? Travis and Quinn’s brother even come to an understanding and he is forever playing the middle man when he said he didn’t want to but he was their for them an allowed them their space while giving great advice. I would have loved to have a big brother like him growing up and depended on him more.

When other people and what you see happen to others has Quinn about to mess up the best thing that has ever happened to her in the way of having a partner love you and see you and has tunnel vision of you and their future. Super cute and I loved it all!!!

This was one of those feel good romance stories, that doesn't rely on extreme drama to make or break the story. Following the summer romance of Travis and Quinn. They were cute in a way that it had me hoping that despite the trials and tribulations in their relationship, I wanted to see them make it through together. You can bet your best dollar, that I'll continue to read anything from this author's catalog!

The CUTEST!!

Quinn and Travis are one of the sweetest couples I’ve read in a while. I loved their relationship and their banter. Did they have teenage problems? Yes. But they’re also well teenagers. I loved getting to see them fall in love and grow individually and together. Definitely buying this one for my shelf!

I love love this story! I felt like I was falling in love with Travis myself 😂 I love the dynamic between the main characters and the way the shift takes place towards the middle of the book. Definitely worth the read.

This was a sweet contemporary romance novel. I loved how Travis really showed how much he loved Quinn even when she was confused on how she truly felt. Beautiful love story.
