This was a pretty good, if short, book.

The MC is now starting to actually form a harem, having 3 women that all know about each other, though there are some jealousy issues to work out.

The book involves the MC being framed, and trying to exonerate themselves. Some of the scenes are a little cheesy in the way he gets out of things, but other than that, pretty good.

Now to wait for book 4.

Made me angry

For a book to actually evoke my emotions is rare. So I have to give credit when due. I was irritated that the story world doesn't have detectives or police. How hard is it to prove an alibi when you are fighting a dragon. There were witnesses. Then, to have the main character suffer an amputation just took me over the edge. I'm looking forward to the next book.

Love this series!

I binge read all 3 novels, and I'm going though withdrawals because I need more. This quickly became one of my favorites! The story flows so well, and you can tell that Jin really put some thought into the outline because it's not a 'write by the seat of your pants' type of story. It's well thought out, and easy to follow.

Ok, well. Book 1 was very clunky and trope-ish, and it got a 3 for that, as the story had potential. Book 2 was more polished, and the plot moved along well, so 3.5, rounded up to 4 stars for that. All of this brings us to book 3.

This gets a 4, as the product is more polished and the characters are starting to get rounded out. Not enough overall to push it to 5 stars, but the story is sufficiently interesting/diverting to me to continue reading when book 4 makes an appearance.

Very good book

This is a fine fantasy harem adventure novel. It is well written and edited. I especially like Lila. I anxiously await the sequel.

Fun junk, which is exactly what I wanted from it. Can’t find the second book to rate that, but it was a bit dull so I’m glad the pace picked up again in this one.
