Escape Island: A Nightmare Awaits
Trapped on a mysterious island, Abra and her group must fight not only for survival but against the twisted games designed to break them—before they break each other.
Abra embarks on an adventure with a group of strangers, heading to a remote island for what promises to be a thrilling and lucrative job.
The group soon realizes that they are not there for a typical reality show or luxury retreat, but something far more dangerous and sinister.
As they face one bizarre challenge after another, it becomes clear that survival isn’t just about completing tasks—it's about outwitting unseen forces that seem to control every move they make. The group must navigate physical and psychological tests, all while grappling with growing paranoia and distrust.
Abra’s anxiety and panic attacks threaten her stability, but her strength and resilience may be the key to surviving this deadly game. As alliances form and break, Abra learns that not everyone can be trusted, and some may have darker motives for being on the island.

Wow! Escape Island had me hooked from page one. The story is packed with suspense, mystery, and just the right amount of danger. Abra is a fantastic protagonist—you feel every bit of her fear, determination, and resilience as things start to go horribly wrong. The setting is stunning, but there’s an eerie undercurrent that keeps you turning the pages. The characters are all unique, and the tension between them makes for some brilliant interactions. Just when you think you know where it’s going—boom, another twist! If you love fast-paced thrillers with a survival element, this book is a must-read!

An entertaining and twisty quick read
Escape Island has plenty of action and a few nicely done 'set pieces' (I particularly liked the octopus scene). There are several great plot twists, particularly as the story reaches its breathless climax.
However, I did feel that some of the writing lacked sufficient intensity to match the scene action, but that's pretty easy to ignore if you let the story suck you along. The opening scene was a bit confusing, but don't let it put you off: the need for it does become clear later on in the book.
