I love Evie Rose's novellas. She's such a talented author! This one was great. It's a mafia romance with forbidden vibes, seeing as how the heroine is the hero's nanny. They've danced around each other for a while, but when Bella decides to take control of her sexuality she streams herself on a cam show. The only thing is... the hero made it private & just between them. ;) I loved it!

4.25 stars. Bella, the female nanny lead, has been infatuated with her charge’s uncle from the moment he hired her. Lucas, the male mafia boss lead, knows he’s far too old and jaded for someone as young and beautiful as Bella. But he has jealously hoarded her time, not allowing her time off, though he agreed to Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

When Lucas find Bella’s online cam profile, he hastily buys all her available time, with every intention of not showing up. But temptation prevails. Once Bella realises that Lucas has bought her time, she knows her attraction is reciprocated. Now she just needs to convince him she’s seriously willing to be all his forever…

This short story is dual POV, well written and edited, and a sweet and steamy, contemporary Christmas, romantic comedy. I enjoyed Bella’s sweet, persevering adoration combined with her adventurous personal care. I was amused by Lucas’ tempered obsession and enjoyed seeing him unravelled by Bella’s reciprocated interest. I enjoyed Lucas’ niece and the care they both gave her. I enjoyed their erotic intimate engagements. I was hysterically amused by their interactions with other characters in the author’s organised crime world.

Book 146 of 2024

This has been my favorite in the Cam Show Crush series so far. All of the books are age gap, and I think that the insta-love element here is helped by mutual pining, which I always love. He was into her, but he is the mafia boss who is now a guardian to his young niece. She is into him, but she is the young, inexperienced live-in nanny. As time goes on, the flames are burning bright and a touch of jealously is what pushes these two together. Once they are finally admitting their feelings there is scorching heat between them with a touch of a breeding kink. I think that the forced proximity aspect and how their “professional” boundaries are in place bring a good element to the story, especially with a hint of his mafia boss persona. Overall I enjoyed this one and it’s bonus story, and I can’t wait to keep going in this crazy Christmas age gap series – where yes, at least one person goes on the Only Santas website for you know what.

Commentary: Eh, there was a loose plot. It was mostly erotica. So if you're looking for all spice, little sense, this was it. It was fun for what it was.

Thoughts and review. This is a 100pg cute, sexy, steamy, lunchtime read. You will laugh at the antics Bella does and the mention of the other London Mafia Syndicate aka London Math Club. Does it have a plot? Well no, but it is still a good read and a cute holiday story. Please it is Evie ...

Lucas had been celibate for over ten years and hadn't felt any desire for sex until Bella walked in. He knew had keep her and don't let her out of his sight so he gave her the job on the spot without her resume or talking to agency and checking her references.
Bella is a beautiful twenty-two year old who loves children and always wanted a home and be loved because she didn't have that when she growing up. From day the she started working for him she has been flirting with him because she was attracted to him but Lucas shut it down each time. The thing is
Lucas is obsessed with Bella but deny himself from her. He knows that he's twenty years older than her and the shit that he's into she doesn't need to be apart of his world. But he's in love with her, she's his girl. But he have to stay away from her. Bella as been obsess with Lucas from day one but it doesn't matter how many times that she flirts with him he's short with her or doesn't even acknowledge her. But after her countless attempts at flirting with Lucas have been as effective as flinging tinsel against a granite wall, she wanted to be seen, and wanted to feel desirable. She has two days off this year and she was going to make those days count and be properly festive. As part of her pre-employment agreement Bella asks for Christmas Eve and Christmas day off.
Bella have been working for six months without a break now, which she's pretty sure wasn't legal. But mafia bosses make their own rules. She knew that it was a stupid impulse to sign-up for OnlySantas. She has her phone silent except for Lucas number just in case he calls, but he never does. This allows her to keep her attention on Ivy. But she do have a new app called OnlySantas. OnlySantas is an app for people who loves to watch festive, sexy fun. Cam girls and guys dress up and while some just talk, many do way more than talk. She was shocked when she received a notification that someone had bought the exclusive rights to watch her whole performance on Christmas Eve. It was thousands of dollars and it was paid for in advance, and what was more surprising was it was bought by her boss; with their screen name YourBoss. She's hoping that it's Lucas and can't wait for the performance.
Lucas was buying Ivy a tablet for Christmas on a hell hole site and setting up all the parental settings, when he came across a site call OnlySantas. The site seems harmless enough but as he clicked around he came across NannyBella he realized that it was his girl. She's mine. She cannot do this. His. His heart was in his throat when he saw her picture and the amount of people who signed up for her show. He saw red and it wasn't the cheerful seasonal colour of the website it was absolute rage. This is was he decided to buy an exclusive viewing because he can't allow any to look at what's his. Bella was disappointed when her anonymous client didn't show up at seven o'clock. But thinking and hoping that it was Lucas she decided to go ahead and put on a performance for he love.
Lucas was watching without revealing himself and as she play with herself and profess her love to the love of her life Lucas became upset vowing to that he was going to track down the man and murder him unbeknowing to him that she was talking about him. Bella realized that it was in fact Lucas and asked him why he didn't find her desirable. He tells that he did and that she should come up to him right now. She did and he profess his love for her and tell her why he stayed away from her. He gave her a spanking then took her virginity. He tells her that he was never going to let her out of his sight and they was going to be a family. Ivy told Bella that she wanted a mom and dad for Christmas and she wanted to her uncle daddy. These three broken souls became a family and Lucas and Bella get married and welcomed eight children together ten years later while he continued to run the King's Cross mafia.

This was an engaging and intriguing story overall. I really appreciated the fresh perspective of the protagonist taking control of her own desires and exploring her sex life, especially after facing rejection from her love interest for so long. The spice was absolutely on point, and the pacing felt smooth and natural—up until the ending. Unfortunately, that’s where things started to feel rushed and slightly unrealistic. I get that this is a novella, but as much as I love a happy ending, I don’t need every loose end tied up neatly just for the sake of wrapping up the story. A bit more breathing room in the conclusion would have made it feel more authentic and satisfying.

I loved this book. It was such a fun grumpy/sunshine holiday romance. Bella is the nanny taking care of Lucas's six-year-old niece, Ivy. She has a powerful attraction to her boss, but he's completely immune to her attempts at flirting. Working everyday for six months, she secures days off for Christmas Eve and Day and signed up at OnlySantas, wanting to put on a show online and finally be seen and desired by someone. Lucas was a grump and annoyed that the nanny he desires so strongly will have the holiday off. I cackled at his reaction to seeing the OnlySantas site and discovering what it really is. His personality is so much fun! He became one of my favorites from Evie Rose's mafia hotties. Bella is sunshine and smiles, but she's an orphan like Ivy and just wants to be loved.

Talk about grumpy, obsessive and smitten, London Kingpin Lucas Knight fits the bill. Lucas hired Bella to be the nanny to his beloved 6-year-old niece Ivy. Bella and Ivy get along wonderfully. Lucas becomes obsessed with Bella, and she with him. Lucas is a complex and interesting character, and Bella seems to balance him. Lucas thinks he is too old for her, and she disagrees. Trying to get over her love for him, Bella opens an OnlySantas account and plans to be a camgirl and do a sexy show to boost her virginly confidence. Lucas finds out and books all of her shows exclusively because he doesn’t want anyone else to see her like that.

The story immediately immerses you into the story and was written so well that you do not want the story to end. The author did a fantastic job with character development, and you find yourself hoping for love to conquer all. Ivy was adorable! Kingpin’s Nanny is a terrific book for readers that like steamy yet sweet, instalove, age gap holiday romance stories that can be read in one sitting.

Kingpin’s Nanny is a spicy, sweet London Mafia romance that takes place over the holiday season with MFC Bella who was hired by Mafia boss MMC Lucas Knight a year earlier as nanny for his adopted niece Ivy. It is insta-love for Lucas and while he attempts to maintain an employer and employee distance between them he still burns to make Bella his, permanently.
Bella for her part adores her older boss but resolves to herself to move on when her flirting fails to garner his attention, she thinks.
The holiday’s have arrived with Bella deciding to sign up with OnlySantas an anonymous adult service where she can feel desirable again after Lucas’ continued lack of interest in her, and of course Lucas accidentally discovers what Bella is up to!
This is a fun, nicely written story with great characters, passion, humor, and a little drama where rules will soon be broken.

Bella has been working as the nanny to Lucas’ orphaned niece Ivy for six months. She’s also been in love with her grumpy employer for most of the time so she decides to sign up for a OnlySantas cam show. She’s surprised when someone pays a huge amount for a private show. Lucas fell hard & fast for Bella on first sight but he’s twenty years her senior, when he accidently finds out about her cam show he pays so no one else can see her.
A quick delicious novella, which I read straight through. I loved the grumpy Lucas & the ray of sunshine which was Bella & thoroughly enjoyed their story. Would Ivy get her Christmas wish for a new Daddy & Mummy? Well you’ll have to read it to find out! I love these insta love short stories, the men are mature & dangerous & the women young & innocent but sparks always fly

An amazing novella that is a steamy spicy romance with a happily ever after ending with wonderful characters which is easy to read and a great page turner.
A novella about a mafia kingpin coming to terms with the past and finding a young woman who will become his future. The kingpin and the young woman who becomes the nanny for his niece fall in love with each at first sight but he pulls away from her only to find out at the end that he has been also pulling away from his niece as well.
The two come together the night of Christmas Eve and the morning of Christmas changes the mafia kingpin after he finds out what his niece wants for Christmas.
The two have been married for ten years and after having many children as well as adopting his niece the two are still happy to be with one another and are still in love.

Oh my goodness. I didn't even see that coming. This was hysterical! The writing is great and this plot just melts your heart. And yes, there are some very, very naughty times for Christmas! This was so fun and yet so sweet all at the same time. Just in time for the holidays, this was needed.

She was a nanny and wanted her boss for Christmas. His niece also wanted a dad.

The two of them are so good together. And that site! I was scandalized. Santa sure has changed since I was a kid! I have tears. Girl, I give you so much credit. Our h has more guts than she knows. That is a bold move to do what she did and I am so happy that he found her before someone else! The plot was a fun one and had a lot of everything going for it. And the little one. Oh how I wish he had realized what that little girl truly wanted before! A lovely and steamy story for the holidays.

I liked this instalove story a lot. It was cute but still steamy and entertaining. Ivy was an absolute sweetheart and her story made me want to cry and then hug both her and Lucas. I would have loved to find out what Lucas did to Bella’s previous employers as they deserved some kind of consequences for how they treated her, but I will just have to dream. Bella and Lucas met when she arrived to interview for the nanny position that Lucas was trying to fill. They were both floored upon meeting the other but neither of them let the other one know how they felt. Bella decided to try out something new and outside of her comfort zone. Lucas stumbled upon her something new and took steps to make sure that she stayed only his. I loved how she figured it out. Their happily ever after made me smile. I recommend reading this book.

What I liked- Even though it’s a unique love story, it is an endearing one that shows that they really care and love for one another. I love the ending the best no spoilers though!
What I didn’t like- I found it a little sad that they had to go on cam chat to be able to share their true feelings and not be able to have an honest conversation with each other from the beginning.

I would rate this book a 3.5 but have rounded it up to a 4. A fun, cheeky and sexy, the idea of OnlySantas was very good.
The characters were quite endearing, especially Ivy. In many ways it played out like romantic comedy. The dual POV gave us important insight into the obsessive nature and reluctance our hero has to act on his feelings, which was very much needed. I'm personally not a fan of instalove narratives but still greatly enjoyed it overall. Perfect for those that love grump boss/nanny romances, romances featuring voyeuristic intimate scenes, as well as a fun, comic touch to their romance. There was also a great chemistry between the characters.
