My car broke down in the middle of a snowstorm... And now I’m snowed in with four sizzling hot firefighters.
What started as a light snowfall turned into a brutal blizzard. One wrong turn, and bam—I’m wrapped around a tree.
No signal. No way out. No better time for a miracle.
But just when I’m at the end of my rope… Not one, but four devastatingly gorgeous firemen come to my rescue.
Axel’s strong arms wrap around me, making the crash feel like a distant memory. Jace’s protectiveness has my heart racing, even if he won’t admit he still cares. Tanner’s swoony charm and chiseled body could melt any woman’s resolve—mine included. And Ben’s quiet intensity has my skin smoldering.
These four dreamy heroes offer me more than just shelter. They spark a fire inside me that only they can put out. But the closer we get, the more my past creeps in, threatening to destroy it all.
Will they still stand by me when the storm clears? Or will everything we’ve built go up in flames?

The story follows Emily, who had just recently broken up with her boyfriend Whit after he cheated on her. She has to go up to the mountains to her best friend's wedding, that she is maid-of-honor, but sudden snow storm makes her car slide of the road, where she ends up falling unconscious after hitting her head. Four firemen, Axel, Jace, Ben and Tanner end up finding her in the frozen car and saving her life. Lucky for her, the firemen are actually on the way to the lodge where the wedding is going to be held. This is the start of the intense fight against feelings that all of them start to grow towards Emily and Emily's feelings to them.
The whole book was written really professionally and it was easy to imagine everything from the places where everything was happening, to each of the characters and their personalities. The main characters and all the side characters were really well and interesting way written.
This story is perfect for all those who love reverse harem stories, that are more than just fast paced falling to each other.
DNF at 38% OMG, so many inconsistencies. Trucks with trunks, typos, being in one place and then magically another. It was too distracting. I’m not invested in any of the characters enough to try to get through this “book.”
Such a good read and loved the bonus scene. Emily is going to her best friend's wedding and is also in the wedding. Whit will also be there and she is not excited to see him. He cheated on her and then blamed her for it. She is hoping that everything goes off without a hitch. First thing that happens is a snowstorm in the mountains. She runs off the road in her car. Four firemen find her and brings her safely to the lodge. She has no clothes, phone or anything. The wedding is still on just no one can come up or down the mountain. The groom is not even there. So many things that go wrong and something that goes so right. Read this book, such a slow burn.

I loved this story. It was fun to read. Take four firemen, one maid of honor and an ex-boyfriend and you have a recipe for disaster. I liked imagining these alpha best friends all with feelings for Emily and all wanting to her to pick them. I was so happy for the happily ever after at the end. If you like reverse harems then this is the book for you.

Good book. I just felt like it was all dragged out too much. Like they finally all got together officially at the very end. So I feel like the book was dragged out too much and then wrapped up really fast since the epilogue (1 year later) was literally right after they officially made it a harem.

I had high hopes but this troupe is so played out. Lots of holes and absolutely no steam. Kind of boring really. Had high hopes but nothing panned out. Also felt rushed.
Wow took me so long to finish this book because it was boring. Seen this troupe so many times I just DNF most books. It had potential with Chloe and Whitt but that went nowhere. Steam is a -9 and the bonus epilogue was just as plain. If you want a book to put you to sleep read this one.

This was kind of a weird book, as far as reverse harems go. In most of the RH books I've read, the only real characters involved are the heroine and her men because the focus of the story is on the development of their sexual relationship. Sure one or two other characters might stop by from time to time, but 90% of the page time is focused on our "couple" because that's generally what people who read these types of books want to see. But this book spends a TON of time on a whole host of secondary characters, and devotes a significant amount of page time to things I didn't really care about, like preparing for the wedding of one of those side characters. It made the whole thing feel weird and unbalanced. Heck, we don't even get our first multi-person sex scene until the very end of the book!
There were also weird inconsistencies in the story. Like how about halfway through the author suddenly decided to turn this into a BBW story, when nothing in the narrative up to that point supported such a thing. Seriously, the story opens with the heroine, Emily, driving to a mountain top lodge and thinking about how her ex-boyfriend, Whit, was going to be there. She thinks about how he cheated on her and then tried to blame her for it by saying she was a "frigid bitch." But then later in the story when the ex shows up he says he cheated because she was too fat and he wasn't attracted to her.
Likewise, in this opening scene Emily runs into a snow storm and her car slides off the road. Our four heroes happen along and have to pull her unconscious body from the car before it topples off the edge of a cliff. We're in the perspective of one of the men for this and he makes it a point to comment on how tiny Emily looks. He also has no difficulty picking her up and carrying her back to their car. Both things which would be hard to believe if she was a BBW.
Then, since all her clothes and belongings went off the cliff with her rental car (something she seems WAY too chill about), she goes to her friend, the bride, and asks to borrow some clothes. Now, we don't get a physical description of this friend, Hailey, but the author did make it a point to say that the sweatpants and sweatshirt she'd lent our heroine were "baggy" on her. Again, if our heroine is a bigger girl, then Hailey must be fucking ENORMOUS for her clothes to be baggy on Emily.
It really just didn't add up. It honestly felt like the author wrote the first half of the book like Emily was just a regular thin and pretty heroine, but then decided to make her a BBW midway through for some reason and couldn’t be bothered to go back and change things to match.
But it doesn't stop there. Emily also underwent a personality transplant too. In the opening scene when she's remembering how her ex called her a frigid bitch, she tells us that she's "independent" and “self-reliant”. This gives us the impression that she's a strong, confident woman. So confident, in fact, that weak men like her ex feel threatened by it. And we see a bit of that in her when her car is lost over the cliff. Even though she's just been through a traumatic experience, she brushes it off like it's no big deal and insists on walking into the lodge under her own steam rather than leaning on one of the men. She even refuses to be checked out by the resident medic, even though she'd previously commented in her inner monologue that "everything hurt" after her car slammed into the tree.
Then, the men start showing interest in her and she easily accepts an invitation for a date with one of them, Tanner. She has no hesitation about this, like she gets asked out frequently and is confident that this mega-hot man would, indeed, be interested in her. But then about halfway through the book she does a complete heel-face-turn and she's suddenly this weak, unsure wallflower who doesn't believe the men would be into her when there were other "skinny girls" around to tempt them. WTH?
I also didn’t like how nobody would just freaking have a conversation throughout the book. So many times two characters would be talking and would just say “it’s complicated” instead of explaining what was up. Sometimes this made sense, like when Emily was talking to Hailey and struggling to explain that she was actually sleeping with four men while also not really knowing how to classify these “relationships.” This was a conversation that happened in the public areas of the lodge and with a bitchy OW present. I can understand not wanting to get into the nitty gritty details there. But the rest of the time it just didn’t make sense to refuse to explain.
For example, one of the men, Jace, has history with Emily. Jace is Hailey’s brother and he and Emily dated in high school. They broke up on bad terms more than a decade ago and haven’t spoken since. But none of the rest of the men know about this previous relationship and for some reason neither Jace nor Emily is willing to tell them. It was ridiculous. Jace is in full-on jealousy mode right from the moment they rescue Emily. Now, you’d THINK he’d want to tell his buddies that they had history because in most “guy code” situations, that would make her off limits to the rest of them. But no, he deliberately avoids telling them that he’d dated Emily and we’re never given a reason why. Likewise, when Emily starts getting closer to some of the other guys, they question her history with Jace (because he’s being so over-the-top jealous) and you’d THINK she’d be more than happy to tell them that he cheated on her so she was totally over him now. But instead she refuses to give details and just issues the dreaded “it’s complicated.”
Furthermore, we’re told that Jace didn’t actually cheat on Emily. The story goes that they went to prom together, but then the bitchy OW, Chloe, crooked her little finger and Jace abandoned Emily to go off, and eventually LEAVE with Chloe instead. This was the end of their relationship. And apparently Jace never, EVER, tried to clear his name.
His version of this event is that he just took Chloe to the ER because she’d hurt her ankle. Which is ridiculous, as far as explanations go. For one thing, why did it HAVE to be him who took her to the ER? She was presumably there with a date, right? Why wouldn’t her date take her?? For another, why would Jace do this without telling Emily what was going on? Why wouldn’t he take Emily with him? After all, they presumably arrived together, so was he leaving her to find her own way home? What a dick!
If this was all so innocent, why wouldn’t he have just explained himself?? In the course of the book, he even comments on how the “look of devastation” on Emily’s face that night had haunted him for years. So, you’re telling me that, even on the night of prom he knew he was breaking her heart but he couldn’t just stop to explain things? Because of a SPRAINED ANKLE??? That’s not a life-threatening emergency where every second counted. Hell, it’s not even something that really requires a trip to the ER! Chloe could have just sat down and propped her ankle up on a chair with a bag of ice for the rest of the night and been fine.
And we’re also supposed to believe he never explained after the fact either? Emily is his sister’s best friend, for crying out loud! They would have had to see and hear about each other CONSTANTLY in the ensuing years. Why would he have just sat there, knowing she hated him and why, but just never explain what happened? And what about that sister? Surely she would have been furious with Jace for breaking her best friend’s heart, right? Are you telling me he never even explained to HER what really happened? And even now, when the book is taking place, he thinks several times about how he really should just tell Emily the truth…BUT STILL NEVER DOES! Seriously, the book ends without him ever telling her what really happened. And this is even after Chloe shows up at the lodge and does her best to stir shit up and to try to nab Jace for herself. COME ON!
Now, you might think that the author was deliberately keeping the truth a secret because she had a Big Misunderstanding planned for later in the story, but no. Nothing ever comes of this. There was literally no reason, narratively speaking, for Jace to not just clear his name. So we wasted tons of page time angsting, talking, and thinking about this situation and it was all for nothing. It’s just bad writing.
We also didn’t get to know the four men very well. So much time was spent on the wedding and the secondary characters that it didn’t leave much for our main characters. We learn that Tanner is the most easy-going of the bunch and he spent time working in a bakery. Axel is the leader of their fireman group, has blue eyes and a dog, is divorced, and is apparently older than the rest of them but no idea by how much. Jace we learn nothing about, other than the high school stuff described above. I have no idea what he’s been doing since high school, other than apparently becoming a fireman. I couldn’t tell you anything about his hobbies or if he’s been in any serious relationships since then. And then there’s Ben, who we learn absolutely nothing about whatsoever.
Even Emily is pretty light on characterization. We know she’s best friends with Hailey and works in marketing. She apparently has poor taste in men since she dated Whit The Douchebag for “a long time,” but we don’t really know who she is. Like, does she have family? Parents? I have no idea. She mentions several times that Hailey and Jace’s family are “crazy rich” so does that mean Emily’s family is rich too, since she apparently grew up in the same area as them? Or is she the stereotypical “poor kid who gets pseudo-adopted by her rich friend’s family”? Your guess is as good as mine. She could be an orphan for all we know. She certainly never worries about what her family will think of her being in a polyamorous relationship so…
It just all felt very superficial. We never get to know the characters because they never get to know each other. Emily’s personality changes halfway through the book and she becomes a weak, self-doubting person that I had trouble rooting for. There was also this really weird part where the four men have made a pact not to sleep with Emily again because they want to give her space to decide which one of them she chooses without being pressured or “swayed” with their attentions. When Emily finds out about this pact she goes on this tirade about how the pact is really insulting to her and makes her feel like “a prize to be won.” It didn’t make any sense.
Like, that’s literally the OPPOSITE of what it means. The pact shows that the men are choosing NOT to compete over her and instead are going to step back and wait for her to decide for herself. She keeps harping on about how they decided to make this pact without bothering to ask how she felt about it but, like, I’m in her head the whole book and I know for a fact that she has no idea how she feels about all this. She’s horny for all of them but doesn’t have a clue which one she’ll choose. So, like, if they HAD asked her, what would she have said? Nothing. That’s what. I HATE heroines who pull crap like this. “How DARE you do this without asking me?” “Okay fine, what’s your decision then?” “Um, well, I don’t know. I just know you’re awful for not asking me!!!”
All in all, it was an easy enough read but not particularly good. It reads more like a YA novel with all the angsting about prom night and such than an erotica. There were also some typos and wrong words sprinkled throughout. The funniest one was when the author used “bucked” instead of “buckled.” It was right after Emily had gotten an orgasm from one of the men and when she stood up her legs “almost bucked” and I just had this hilarious picture in my mind of her legs both freaking out like a couple of bucking broncos. Probably would have killed the post-orgasm glow a bit.
Emily is on her way to a ski resort to help her best friend she's her best friends maid of honor but what she doesn't like that her ex is going to be there. She's on her way up the mountain in a small car when she hears that a bad storm is moving in then out of nowhere a truck almost runs her off the road. Her phone rings an its her friend asking if she's close she says yes almost there but what about the storm her friend says I don't think its gonna be a problem but when Emily hangs up she sees the snow getting worse and she can hardly see there is no reception on her phonw. Then she loses control of her car an goes over the side rolling over and over the landing right side up.She's trapped in a blizzard an her life is gonna end right here.Have and his fellow team members are on their way to drop Have off they plan to come back in the morning when the blizzard hits an they can barely see he asks how much further Have says just up ahead but then out of no where Adams dog goes crazy barking trying to open the window an he's getting more an more upset so Adam says he never acts like this we need to see what he's upset about Adel pulls over the guys all pull out flashlights as the get near the edge they see lights barely showing through the snow.Adel says Have you with me we have to go see if anyone is in the car and help them before the car goes over plunging to the bottom. When they get down Adel whips the snow from the windshield a woman is inside passed out over the wheel..Axel tells Have help me the door is stuck an the cars ready to go over hurry. They pull the woman out Axel holds her head an neck against him as Have picks up her legs when the woman moves Axel brushes her hair back an Have sucks in a breath its Emily the only woman he's ever loved. He tells Axel to give her to him but Axel says hi be got her they get pulled up by the other guys an then she's put between Have and Tanner when they get to the lodge she says I can walk. They walk next to her an get her wrapped in blankets .there are so many twists an turns to this story you will be riveted til the very last page.I can hardly wait to see what's next by this multi talented author.

Quick read, if you're ok with the insta love scenario then you will like this. Four fire fighter best friends rescue the fmc and immediately all want her...ok so being attracted and wanting to have sex makes sense but they all have such intense feelings. I can't say she earned it per say, some authors show you how smart and kind a character is making you understand why you fall for them, not in this book. It feels very much a physical thing other than jace who has history with her. I still love all the mmcs and how they fall call me a sap! I enjoyed the 2.5/5 spice for me it could've been way spicier. The only big issue I had was Jace being her high school sweetheart, the way Emily talks she believes he cheated on her at prom...have left with Chloe. Later Jace let's us know in his Internal monologue that he did walk out with Chloe, he saw the gutted look on Emily's face but he was taking Chloe to the ER cause she Injured her ankle. It never makes sense, so he left Emily to be helpful and never tells her the truth...even now as he's trying to win her back he never tells her the truth. We get leaving his date was awful and why him...ok but still it feels like the author should've settled that better. Other than that I enjoyed the quick romance for those who like the quickies and aren't into depth like how does it all work out you will enjoy it. Yes there's a HEA No cheating Story jumps from were doing this to one year later.
I was drawn to the cover of the book and those blazing hot firefighters (fanning myself!). The story inside was great too. The story started with Emily driving to Mt. Baker Snowlodge for a wedding. She was excited about seeing her best friend Hailey get married, but not her cheating ex Whit, who was also invited. Emily didn’t want any drama to interfere with the wedding. The roads were twisty and the weather unpredictable. A blizzard suddenly started the road disappeared, and her car slid off the road and down an embankment. Emily was rescued by firemen Jace, Axel, Tanner, Ben and the real superstar, Raffles the dog. Jace was Emily’s big brother and Jace was her first love back in high school. The guys and Emily are all attracted to each other and the chemistry sizzles between them. When Whit showed up, he indicated he wanted to get back together too. Choices, choices.
The book was well-written, the plot well-paced, the world building interesting, and character development spot on. The writing made it easy to imagine the story, the friendships, Hailey’s frantic feelings as the wedding of her dreams blows away in the snowstorm, and hearts flutter and emotions run deep as love blossoms. This is an excellent story if you like reverse harem, hot and sexy firemen romance.

Now this is one heck of a reverse harem story! Firefighters, exes, a best friend's wedding and a back-stabbing woman who didn't learn how to grow up from her high school days? Sounds like a crazy mix to me and man, does it put together one heck of a plot!
Emily has a lot on her mind at the start of this. To begin, she's dealing with a very recent ex-boyfriend who just so happens to be the best man for the wedding while she's the maid of honor. Being thrown together after a break up is NOT high on her to-do list and it's evident before the first chapter even finishes.
Top that off with the fact that she ends up stuck due to a freak snow storm, and that's how she meets "the guys". Blue lipped from the cold, four handsome firemen on their way up the mountain trail end up saving her life and getting her to the wedding venue on time.
That is the end of my spoilers because no way am I giving away just what happens. Or how much tension grows between Emily and all four of the men.
I can't really give any trigger warnings other than that, either. If you're not prepared for high levels of attraction and a whole lot of kissing between one woman and four men? This isn't the book for you. It's fairly light for spice level and also fairly closed door.
Emily is driving to Mt Baker Snowlodge where her best friend Hailey is getting married, when a sudden snow storm hits the mountain and causes her to have an accident.
Jace along with his 3 buddies and fellow firefighters are on the way to the lodge when they see her car. Jace and Axle come to her rescue. Jace is shocked when he sees who it is, the girl who has always had a place in his heart.
Emily is dealing with seeing Jace again and all that entails but also finds she is attracted to his 3 hot friends. Throw in the mix her ex, who is Sam's Best man, it's fun and games in the lodge.
The men are all dealing with their attraction to Emily, which is causing tension between them. But they stand together when it comes to her ex Whit, they know he's no good for Emily, but Whit wants her back.
All 5 are dealing with their own feelings but will the men make Emily chose and if so can she? Each bring something different to the table and each one has a piece of her heart. Can they work as a team like they do in their work life, sharing and caring so they don't lose her.

A classic tale of a girl who gets saved by four gorgeous men, all four men want said girl, and things are never the same again. I liked that these guys had to battle their feelings and desires to make the situation work. None of them wanted to share her at all and it made things very tense between these friends. It all felt much more real that they each wanted her to pick them alone rather than these guys immediately being on board with her being with them all. Plenty of steam throughout the pages. None of the men are short on sexiness, but Tanner’s “skills” in the kitchen… chef’s kiss. I liked how everything concluded. The past and the future clash, making things extra dynamic among all characters in the story. Will be looking for more books by Tess Chase.

I keep vacillating between 2 and 3 stars. The end of the book really made up for a lot of the crap that was annoying in the beginning, but in the end, it couldn't make up for all the issues. 1) The grammatical errors, missing pronouns, switched pronouns made it really difficult to figure out who was talking/doing, etc. It detracted from the story in a big way. 2) It took way to long, IMHO to get to the good stuff. There was a lot of jealousy/aggressiveness from one of the guys and another one just treated her like dirt. 3) Chloe, IYKYK. 4) Hailey...WTH woman, this is your bestie.
Once they finally all get together, this book is way better. I wish there had been a better job setting it up. And, I know I am in the minority, I'm not sure what version of this book everyone else was reading, but I actually want my money back.
Snowed in with Four Fireman was a hot and steamy, reverse-harem, forced-proximity, slow-burn Christmas romance. Emily is on the way to her bestie's Christmas wedding at a ski resort. She’s the maid of honor but is also nervous as her cheating ex, Whit, who tried to blame her for the breakup, will be there. She ends up stranded after sliding off the road in a snowstorm. Four hunky firemen, Axel, Jace, Ben, and Tanner end up finding her, and it turns out they are headed to the same lodge.
This book had hot chemistry, ex drama of all sorts, and a happy ending after it all. I thought the characters had depth, and the poly relationship really worked for them. I loved it and hope to read more by this author.

I'm a sucker for a good reverse harem book and this one was really good in my opinion. Four hot firemen, a German Shepherd, a crazy bride, a vengeful lady, a stubborn ex and a snowstorm to end all snowstorms. Her best friend wants to get married at a ski lodge on a mountain in Colorado in December. What could possibly go wrong? Just about everything. Starting with a car crash and an exciting rescue. While trying to help her friend have the best wedding possible, the heroine finds herself rekindling her attraction with her friends older brother while also falling for his three firefighting buddies. But how would that work--four guys and one gal? Read this adventure romance story and find out if they can make it work for all of them or if she will have to choose just one.

Emily finds herself in one interesting situation. When her car steers off the road and crashes into a tree, she is rescued by Jace, and his team and their journey begin. As they navigate their way around each other feelings blooms and soon all five of them are caught up in a quintuple that is plagued by emotional twists and turns that had me all caught up in their drama. Just as things appear to be working its way-out trouble arrives by her ex and a school friend determined to get one of Emily's men. Will they ever get their chance for a happily ever after.

Christmas romance (reverse harem). Emily is a young woman who goes to her best friend's wedding in a lodge lost in the mountains. On the way she falls into a storm that makes her lose control of the car, fortunately Jace, the bride's brother and Emily's ex-boyfriend, comes to her rescue with his friends Axe, Tanner and Ben. What he didn't expect is to fall in love with all four of the same woman. How will these four possessive men live their love for the same woman and will the shadows of the past come to separate them despite a storm that brought them closer together...

I really enjoyed Emily’s story: her guys showed her that she was valued with their protectiveness and care!! Tess Chase did a fantastic job with the setting, great characters, and a believable RH romance. Their path to a poly relationship was emotional, sexy, and mostly pain free. Each guy was strong enough individually that they weren’t threatened by her interest in the others. Axel, Jace, Tanner, and Ben were supportive, worked as a team, and were so patient. Emily found her heart in her men and a beautiful HEA!.

This is a reverse harem romance with a snow storm and forced proximity. It is about Emily, Axel, Jace, Ben and Tanner. Emily is on the way to her best friend's wedding. She is not excited about going since her cheating ex, Whit, will be there. However, she does not make it because of bad weather. She ends up wrecking her car and being hurt. Axel, Jace, Ben and Tanner are firefighters who happen to be on the way to the same place Emily was headed. They find her in the frozen vehicle and take her to the lodge. This is a delightful read where not everything goes as planned but happiness and love are found in the end.
This is really a good story and a was surprised by how easily it flowed. Emily has been through the ringer but inspite of it all she keeps her head Up and is determined to make Haiely's wedding amazing. The snow storm has really compliance things. That along with her ex being the best man. Things get really heated between Axel, Tanner, Ben and Jace. But Emily carries on despite being overwhelmed with her feelings for the four guys. Then Cloey shows up and twist things around trying to hurt Emily any way she can and try to win over Jace. I love what they did with her at the end. Such a good story.
She never expected to find herself in this situation and struggles to come to terms with it. The guys seem to be more open to it as they fall for her fast and hard and are willing to share just to be in her life. But they have to get through a wedding first and jealous interference with an ex showing up to make things worse. But it looks like some things are worth fighting for. Good storyline, loved the ending.

Emily is the maid of honor in her BFF's wedding, her recent ex, Whitt, is the best man and her high school sweetheart, Jace, is the BFF's brother. Obviously stressed about the situation, she is driving up the mountain in a snow storm on her own when she has an accident. She is saved by Jace and his buddies and she connects with all four of them. This is a bit of a rom-com RH romance with some funny situations, some serious ones, a catty girl from high school and an arrogant ex who won't go away.

Enjoyed the story. Emily runs off the snowy road going to the lodge where her best friend,Hailey, is getting married at. She is rescued by Axle, Tanner, Ben and Jace who is Hailey's brother. Axle, Tanner, and Ben are attracted to Emily and she finds herself with one or the other of them while Jace wishes that he had another chance with her. This story has drama, hot chemistry when each man is with Emily and a happy ending.

I was surprised by how much was in this story…I don’t want to be too specific and risk spoilers so I’ll just say that I was pleasantly surprised by not only the glimpses of each firefighter’s individual relationship building with the female lead but also the overall story and other characters. I think the author did a decent job creating her characters and building tension within the story and I look forward to reading more from the author.
Loved this book! Emily is on the way to her best friends wedding when she has an accident on the snowy mountain road only to be rescued by for hot firemen , Jace, axel, tanner and Ben spot something on the side of the road but never expecting it to be a woman. Can they show her they all want her or will she be to scared?.

Wow this was a smoking page turning read with lots of different emotions and lots of twists and turns with some spicy scenes. Her car broke down and she found four hot firemen to save her and let her come into somewhere warm, Axel Jace, Tanner & Ben saved her and shared the warmth. All four of these guys have different personalities and their own different qualities, Will they still want her after the storm clears?
