From the very first sentence this book immerses you in a world which is so thoughtfully curated. The storyline, the plot and specially THE MAIN CHARACTER'S were so well presented. I literally love them so much!
The way storyline thickens and grabs your attention in such a captivating manner and those twists & turns, the unveiling of secrets and the emotions which all the characters went through were quite literally bleeding through those pages.
My favorite character — is that even a question?
Ofc it's the one & only AHANA STOKES aka bombshell 🥵
She's an Icon and definitely an IDOL for me, I would say! She's like a Phoenix rising from her ashes to get the peace she deserves and which she definitely did!!✨️
And how I can forget to mention the chemistry and heat Gabriel x Ahana bring to the table?! Specially in this book!? omg!? After reading book 2 I can for sure say - the spice level is definitely on a higher scale in book 2 and goddamn it was HOT 🔥😮💨
All I can say — I'm beyond SATISFIED. 😌
This read was the perfect enemies to lovers, a second chance romance which such interesting layers of plot and spice for sure! Definitely give it a try if this sounds like your cup of tea! ❤️🔥😌

This book was intense and honestly I didn’t expect to love it more than the first one, but it totally blew my mind. From the very start it pulled me in and I just kept turning pages, never bored for one second. Gabriel felt like pure obsession, dangerous but loyal at the same time, and Ahana was everything, strong, and iconic. Their energy together was hot, raw, sometimes heartbreaking but always magnetic. The atmosphere was dark but beautiful. Definitely one of those books that stick in your head long after. Thank you so much to the author for giving me the opportunity to read the book in advance, I received this for free and I'm leaving an honest review.

Honestly, I didn’t think it was possible to love this book even more than the first one, but apparently it was. I could not put it down. I wish I had someone like Gabriel, he was so obsessed with Ahana and he’d do anything for her and this book was honestly the best one I’ve read so far this year. I cannot wait for other people to start it when it releases, and I hope they love it as much as I did. This wonderful novel had be captivated from beginning to end and did not disappoint.

I just finished "Avenging Love" by Black Rose, and my heart is still recovering. This book is a gut-wrenching, powerful ride that picks up right after that jaw-dropping cliffhanger from the previous book. From the very first page, I was hooked.
This is a story about a "Bloody King" forged from the ashes of his "Fallen Queen." After the girl he loved, was presumed dead, Gabriel became a monster—a man bent on a single purpose: vengeance. He returns after seven years to burn everything down in her name. But the biggest shock comes when he discovers she's not dead. She's spent the last seven years believing he's the reason for everything, and now she wants her own revenge.
A Magnetic Pull, a Vicious Betrayal
The emotional tension in this book is off the charts. The heartbreak, the angst, the raw grief—it all felt so real. I want to be fair with my review, but I also want to be honest.
This had rough patches. It felt like they were in a hurry to get where the story was going that they forgot to fill it with substance in areas.
There were times that Gabriel's violent behaviour was out of place and almost like it was thrown in there to show he was such a tough guy. It didn't flow with that particular moment in the story. There are loads of times throughout, we see Gabe demonstrating his prowess as a tough guy, that adding it where it wasn't warranted seemed rather pointless.
The twist was great. I really liked that as I wasn't sure how they were going to play that out. However, despite Ahana having spent 7 years growing her hatred towards Gabe and setting up elaborate schemes to take him and his company down, she crumbles and lets everything go after coming face-to-face with him in what was supposed to be this huge gotcha moment. It was quite anticlimactic and disappointing. Her lack of conviction was such a let down as they had built it up, that there was going to be a showdown, and then pfffft. Just like that, she forgave him everything. Barely a word from him, and no explanation at all, and all her anger and hatred is gone. No conviction to her beliefs that in all these years that he had played her. That he had betrayed her and had her parents killed and that he had tried to have her killed as well.
It was frustrating to read. The premise of the story was good. The execution was lacking.
Throwing in the twist of his brother, Cameron working for Chrysalis was good. A nice twist and a story there all on its own.
I had hopes for book #2, and while it was much better than book #1, I was still disappointed.

This was such an emotional experience I was going through it but I was also so invested in the story and seeing some of the old friend group made my heart swell, even after everything that happened they still came together to help Gabriel
These two deserve so much love! I’m so happy they found their way back together after everything it was just so bittersweet reading the ending they deserve the world and their love is just so beautifully painful but in a good way
Her journey in this book was just so amazing, I was so captivated with everything and her story she’s just so strong and amazing I freaking love her
The plot and just everything about this book had me hooked, I was had the edge of my bed with these twists and turns that kept happening oh my gosh

It has been 7 years since their worlds were turned upside down and it’s time for Gabriel to return back home. After the death of the girl he loved, Ahana, he couldn’t stick around. But now, he will come back and avenge her death and paint the town red with their blood.
I loved seeing their friend group and her sister. I loved that Connor and Ava were together and had one another also, they were so cute. Their friends were all hurt Gabriel left, but so glad to have him back. They were ready to help in any way possible to find the ones responsible for the death of Ahana and her parents.
The twists and turns, shocking secrets unfolded! My mouth dropped! And when he saw her again for the first time!!! But she was not the same shy, in love teen girl anymore. She wanted her own revenge also, on Gabriel! She spent the last 7 years believing he was the reason for their death and she was going to take him down. The chemistry, the pull between them, the spark after all this time was still there.

Gabriel’s tortured, vengeance-filled heart and Ahana’s determination made their reunion intense. The chemistry and pull between them after this seven years was undeniable, and the revenge-driven plot added plenty of tension and surprises along the way.
I will say, I really enjoy the friend group and supporting characters! They added depth and a nice softness to what is a more dark and violent storyline. The twists in this one did keep me engaged, and while the romance is still the main focus, the emotional portion was high.
This one leaned less on spice and more on the second-chance love story with some violence, secrets, and revenge fueling tension. For me, this was more of an improvement on the first book, and the connection between Gabriel and Ahana was compelling enough to keep me invested to the end.

The prologue sounds so poetic...I like the fact that we could also feel the emotions portrayed
This Line "She was something to everyone she knew. But to me, she was everything." hit deep
Honestly the way Gabriel reacted to Liam is how I would have too😂😂...
I like the little note at the end of each chapter
That scene in the board room when he met his brother I was like oh my gosh
I'm sorry but his personal beef with Milo the cat 😂😂😂
The moment she said the girl he killed I was like things are about to get messy......ngl I was pissed and at the same time tensed because my boy was here sad and broken and she was plotting
But Sierra and Agostini I am definitely digging it because I am very sure there's some back story nobody knows about
But it sure was annoying reading about the misunderstanding 😂 that was thankfully sorted out in one conversation
The only thing I found weird was that there was a flashback in ahana's pov but the flashback was in Gabriel's pov...I had to do a double take

But it sure was annoying reading about the misunderstanding 😂 that was thankfully sorted out in one conversation
The only thing I found weird was that there was a flashback in ahana's pov but the flashback was in Gabriel's pov...I had to do a double take

OMG this book I was blown away. It kept me hooked from the very first chapter till the end. The emotions, the twists, everything was written so well. The character development really stood out to me, because you can see how much the characters have grown compared to the first book. Their struggles, their choices, and their love felt so real that it made me connect with them.
The scenes were absolutely amazing, some of them even left me speechless. The balance of romance and emotions was just perfect. It’s one of those books where you keep saying “just one more chapter” but end up reading the whole thing in one sitting.
If you loved Addictive Love then Avenging Love will definitely not disappoint. It’s everything I hoped for and more. Highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys romance with depth, drama and unforgettable characters!

I honestly didn't expect to love this book more than the first one, but I was completely wrong! From the very start i was hooked and wasn’t bored for one second! Gabriel is pure obsession and danger but loyal too! The atmosphere was dark but beautiful. This is one book that I know will be stuck in my head for a while! Thank you so much to the author for giving me the opportunity to read the book in advance.

Wow!!! This series as a whole is a stunner. The world development is unreal. The characters Gabriel and Ahana have this intense, passionate but raw and vulnerable energy between them. Ahana is stellar and continues to fight for what she needs and wants regardless of how many times she’s behind. And Gabriel, he’s smoldering and beautiful!! This book made my heart hurt on good ways…highly recommend. I received this as an advanced copy and I am leaving my review voluntarily.

This book was amazing! The story line the plot twist everything about it was so good. Gabriel came back and had so many obstacles to tackle and took them with stride and overcame them one at a time alongside his friend Conner. I cant wait for more of this series to come out!

Gabriel is a tortured and vengeance-filled MC. Had me grabbing some tissue with all the painful moments. Ahana is fierce and determined to go after what she feels she deserves. Their spicy moments were some wickedly delicious times. My emotions were all over the place in the last chapters. But do not fret, this will end in happily ever after. Thank goodness, I can’t take the heartbreak. It was a great revenge turned beautifully fractured love story. And those can be some of the best ones, right?

Avenging Love is the second book in The Deathly Love series which follows Gabriel and Ahana. This dark romance is filled with suspense, action, heart break, secrets as well draw dropping twists and turns. If you are a lover of second chances and lots of revenge than this story is definitely for you although the spice is minimal the love story is unforgettable. The first book left us on one heck of a cliffhanger and this one starts where that one left off so you will need to read them in order, but the author does an exceptional job answering so many of my questions and I can't wait to see what she will bringing us next especially with so many great supporting characters.
