No one warned me I was living next to not one but two thirst traps!
As a single mom, I live by one rule: no unnecessary chaos. So when I move next door to not one but two ridiculously hot men who earn a very good income by being professionally shirtless on the internet, I’m in trouble.
Cam Walker is the walking definition of “too much.” Too confident, too charismatic, and way too willing to stroll around in just a towel like he’s allergic to clothes. Women basically camp outside his house, hoping for a glimpse of those world-famous pecs.
Wyatt Wilson is his best friend, his partner-in-thirst-trapping, and somehow even harder to resist. He’s got this low-key, sarcastic charm that makes me laugh even when I’m having a bad day, and a protective streak that turns my insides to goo.
I know better than to get involved with men who don’t fit into the calm, stable future I want for myself and my six-year-old daughter. So when the studly content-creating duo come on strong, flattering me like I’m one of their panty-waving followers, I should sprint in the other direction.
I have one job: avoid them at all costs. But then comes the flirting, the late-night run-ins, and kisses that I swear are definitely a mistake. Spoiler alert: they aren’t.
I should never have kissed my neighbors, but now I’m in over my head with two dangerously attractive men who seem determined to convince me I need a little chaos in my life. Sure, I could pack up and move...but that would mean leaving behind their delicious abs, a houseful of hilariously awkward moments, and the best kisses of my life.
I know I’m playing with fire here. But honestly, when the flames are this hot, is it really so bad to get burned?
Warning: This romantic comedy features questionable life choices, scandalously low shirt-buttoning habits, and two neighbors who are way too good at talking their way out of trouble—and into your heart.

miscommunication trope? nope, try refusing to communicate 🫶 this was cute & all & you could def see where the plot was heading but idk the ending felt oddly rushed to me
You know, I've heard people say that a lot of women meet their future partner(s) at the grocery store. Clearly, I'm in the wrong store, but let's go, Stella!
I thought this book was really interesting in that Cam and Wyatt were content creators. I really liked the idea of their channel, and their content sounds like a lot of fun, both the thirst trap and the tamer stuff! Cam and Wyatt were just really fun characters to read in general, and I was smiling and laughing for most of the book!
Jessie was a huge part of the book, and I liked that a lot. It added more depth to Stella's character and showed another side of Wyatt and Cam. I also enjoyed that Jessie's bio dad wasn't a piece of garbage and didn't cause all kinds of issues. A lot of single parent books make the other parent into a demon, so this was a nice departure from that.
Stephanie's books are always great reads, but there's something about her rom-coms that's on another level. They have the right amount of spice to offset the silly, and her characters are relatable and easy to connect with.
This one was extra fun because in my head, I kept hearing STELLLLLLAAAAA a la Streetcar Named Desire 😂
Single mom rule #1: Don’t kiss the neighbors. Oops.
Stella wanted peace, quiet, and a low-drama life for herself and her daughter. What she got? Two famously attractive neighbors who seem to think shirts are optional and boundaries are negotiable.
But beneath the thirst-trap charm and towel-clad antics, there’s real connection. When Stella’s carefully guarded heart starts to open, she realizes these two troublemakers might be offering more than just distraction. They might be offering home.
If you’re looking for a feel-good romance with plenty of heat, I hope you’ll spend some time with Cam, Wyatt, and Stella.
While I always appreciate this author’s writing, this series is simply irresistible. Reading Two times the Trouble and Grump and Grumpier first will ensure you have the best experience with the series. IMO.
The grocery store was the last place Stella, a frazzled single mom, expected to be noticed, let alone by two gorgeous men who seemed intent on buying every single bag of marshmallows.
Got your attention? Good. Because she definitely needs these guys in her life.
Content creators Wyatt and Cam are her neighbors, separated by a fence. The marshmallow experiment, unfortunately, produced an undesirable consequence, leading to the intrusion into Stella’s world. Once there, they are reluctant to leave.
I couldn’t put this book down; it kept me entertained from beginning to end. Get ready for sweet moments, hot chemistry and sizzling scenes between Stella and the guys, and some drama. I adore the HEA and eagerly anticipate this author’s future works.
I received an ARC (thank you) and happily leave my review.
I LOVE Stephanie Brothers books and her writing, I’ve read about 85-90% of her books (taking my time so I can enjoy them in between other reads). She always makes amazing characters and quick reads that I can get lost in.
With that said, Stella is the most infuriating character to date and Cam and Wyatt deserved better. She constantly degrades them and her lack of communication skills literally irked me to no end.
They’re wining and dining you and you have the nerve to call them childish every chance you can get and look down on them?
No honeyyy.
And don’t get me started on the Brandon situation. How dumb can she be? They told her they were serious about her but again with her lack of communication skills, she assumed the worst of them and decides to date her toxic ex? (I call him toxic because of how they first got together, otherwise he’s a bare minimum dad.)
Yuck.
Cam and Wyatt really made this book what it was. They should have dumped her and ran far away lol.
Okay rant over. Still a great read minus Stella. She is unworthy 😂

Never Kiss Your Neighbors by Stephanie Brother was such a fun, spicy read! I absolutely loved Cam and Wyatt—they were so good for Stella and exactly what she needed, even with a bit of drama along the way. They showed her what real love looks like, and I was completely invested in their journey together. And can we talk about Trish? I knew she was up to no good from the start—trust those instincts! One thing I really appreciated was how easily Cam and Wyatt accepted Stella as a single mom. Her having a daughter never fazed them; they were drawn to her from their very first meeting. Jessie taking to them right away was the sweetest touch—she could tell they were good guys long before the adults sorted things out. Stella may have initially thought of them as “boys” instead of men, but wow, did they prove her wrong. They are most definitely all man. Whew—hot, hot, hot! 🔥
That was so much fun that I couldn't put it down! I had my head buried in the book, forsaking all other tasks, lol!
I love how it is contemporary and relatable. Cam and Wyatt being content creators is so very into what many are trying to get into today that I think it is chef's kiss! Stella, being a single mom, was, I think, a nice touch. It gives women hope that we are still desirable even after we've had kids—that we aren't on the shelf, lost and forgotten, with no hope of ever finding love again.
And Stella found TWO! If Cam and Wyatt were my neighbors, yes, I would kiss them, too. All fingers and toes up in the air for this, Stephanie, and you can include my arms and legs, lol! I know, weird visual, but it is what it is. 🤪
This book was so sweet and funny! Cam is this golden retriever, gorgeous, fun and sexy man with the biggest heart and his inner child is right up front. Wyatt is the more serious, brooding of the pair but just as fun and sexy. Together they take such good care of Stella, especially sexually 😂, and Jessie. The way they took an instant liking to Jessie even before they met her mom was so adorable. I liked how Stella didn’t just fall at their feet and tried to stay away in the beginning because she was putting her daughter first. But she just couldn’t resist their charms. I mean, who could? I definitely couldn’t. And they made it worth her while twice over 😉. The spicy scenes were sooo good! Stephanie really knows how to write a great romcom that is definitely not boring.
Silly Boys Stephanie Brother Never fails to deliver an amazing story and this one is no different! Stella, Jessie and Marissa have moved into a new home and it begins to seem as if it’s in a different world. Flying marshmallows, hot hunky neighbors and women sitting in the street trying to get a glance of them. Oh My!! Stella is a single mom to Jessie and while trying to start a new life isn’t easy she soon learns that self care is majorly important. Wyatt and Cam are the hunky neighbors and Stella soon learns that judging a book by its cover is the wrong thing to do. Let’s throw in a dog named Goldfish, too many marshmallows and a new sense of worth and you will not want to put this book down. I can’t wait for my next book fix. ❤️
Honestly, this book annoyed me. I pushed through hoping it would get better, but it just didn’t seem to go anywhere worthwhile.
I kept hoping the two MMCs would get more fleshed out, but this was the wrong book for that. I felt like I was continuously speed reading to finish this between the lack of depth and the FMC continuously refusing to communicate. This is a very low stakes book that’s pretty straightforward with what you’re going to get.
As an aside, I appreciated the level of commitment and love that the FMC had for her child as a single mom. I also liked that she was self aware of her own trauma and used that to excel at her parenting.
This was such a fun read. It had me giggling along. I enjoyed how our MMC characters brought Stella outta her shell and got her to loosen up and have fun and just priotize her self as something more than just a mom. Seeing how the guys at first come off more immature, but we get to see their maturity shine through when it matters while retaining their playfulness. The spice could have been upped a notch or two. Overall, it was a really enjoyable read, exactly what I've come to expect from this author.
This is Stella, Wyatt, and Cam's story. Stella is a single mom who happens to stop at the grocery store and meet not one but two hot guys that seem interested in her. When they seemingly start to follow her home, she becomes suspicious, until she discovers they are actually her famous neighbors. Through some twists, they find themselves spending time together and attraction to each other growing. Drama, chemistry, and the sweet moments with Stella's child kept me entertained and not wanting to put this book down!
Neighbors, MFM, single mom, rom com... This was the perfect pallet cleanser for me. It held my attention throughout. It had humor, feelings, a little drama, and steam. Stella, Wyatt and Cam, had such great chemistry. I loved seeing them fall in love. While, there may have been insta attraction, their relationship seemed genuine and natural. I liked that they developed a relationship with Jessie as well. This was a sweet read overall. It had the perfect blend of plot, spice, and humor!
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this story about Cam and Wyatt, have a YouTube channel and do fun and crazy things. It’s this craziness that allows them to meet Stella and her daughter Jessie. What starts off as an accident with marshmallows and a dog turns into a funny and exciting romance and eventually a happily ever after for all involved.
I was given an advanced copy of this book to read and I am reviewing with my honest and fair opinion.
Stella is trying to settle in and be the best mom she can when she runs into her new neighbors at the grocery store. The attraction is there, but she's convinced she doesn't have time for dating. An unexpected incident with marshmallows and a "Goldfish" may set her on a new path unless an evil Trish spoils it all. This is a must-read like all of Stephanie's books.
Single mom, Stella, meets her cute neighbors, Cam and Wyatt, after an encounter at the grocery store and an incident involving marshmallows and her dog in the backyard. This story is sweet, funny and definitely steamy. One lonely woman meets two slightly younger men who have decided that Stella is the one for them and that they want to be father figures to her daughter. It’s a great read with fun throughout.
Stella lives with her 6 year old daughter Jessica and her friend Marissa. She meets these 2 friendly fellows at the grocery store. It ends up that they live behind her. Wyatt and Cam are very good with Jessica and Marissa's dog. Stella works primarily from home and is also going back to school. Stella,Cam,and Wyatt begin dating. These guys have a fun business and are really cute and sweet fellows. Relationship is hot too. Lighthearted cute hot story.
I really liked this one. It was very well-written and a smooth read. The MMC's and FMC were nicely developed and very charming. The story was sweet and simple, but realistic enough compared to other books in the RH and 'Why Choose' genres. There was spice, but like a good cook, the author blended it tastefully within the storyline. The polyamorous HEA was nice, too. Do yourself a favor and go get this book.
Never Kiss Your Neighbors, book 3 of the Double TheRom Com series by Stephanie Brother @stephaniebrotherbooks. I love Stephanie’s books & this one was good!
Such a great book about Wyatt, Cam & Stella! Tropes: Contemporary, Rom Com, MFM, Single Mom, Male Content Creators/Thirst Traps, Other Woman Drama (no fault of Wyatt & Cam’s’!), Found Family & HEA!
Never Kiss Your Neighbors is such a good book! The characters are warm and wonderful...I defy anyone to dislike Cam. Jesse is adorable. Wyett is slightly gruff. And Stella is a sweet, strong woman. I loved the story of them coming together as a family. There are hot times but there are also giggles! Think this is one of my favorite Stephanie Brother books.
Solid story, I found it a little dragged out in places but that just me. Loved the strong willed FMC she wasn't going to just settle, and the guys were lovely. Wish the "big bad" was a bit more prevalent but in general it was a good, well rounded story, hits all the things you want, good characters, spice and an actual plot.
This was a pretty good low stakes read. I could tell where the OW drama was going fairly early on but it was still interesting to see how it played out. I also felt like the OM drama was unnecessary.

So good! Stella loves her daughter and being mom always came first. She wanted absolutely nothing to do with dating, until she met her neighbors. Wyatt and Cam fell hard and fast! Such a good book and I absolutely loved the ending!
I enjoyed reading this book a lot. I liked the plot and interactions between the characters. I loved how he came to her rescue and helped her with everything she needed. It is a sweet funny sexy one. I can not wait for the next one. I recommend it
Love the series. Never fails to hit it out of the park with steam, plot twists and humor. Soft ties to others in the series allows readers to jump in without getting lost.
Every book is fantastic but I really got into the Jessie twist and I don't even have kids. This book is hot, sweet, funny and I hate Trisha. A really good book to enjoy can't wait for the next one on la la solo good.
Wyatt, Cam, and Stella are absolutely incredible and it was so fun reading their book!!!! This book had funny moments, spicy moments, and even more!!! I absolutely enjoyed it!!!! The HEA is absolutely beautiful as well!!!!!
Wow, what a fabulous story. This author just gets better and better. I totally loved this story of Stella, her six-year-old daughter Jessie, and their gorgeous neighbours.
