Within weeks of opening a dessert catering business, Ivy finds two bodies in her basement. A letter hidden in a bedpost dumps a mystery in her lap. The old saloon, built with a brothel upstairs and a speakeasy in the basement, holds secrets that, almost a century later, people are willing to kill for. Can Ivy find out what's going on and keep her business afloat?
Another hit by Tricia Simpson. Ivy is relatable and interesting. The setting if the story reminds me houses I’ve seen in the mountains of Colorado. Treasure is always a great story line and with the events of this story there is sure to be another Ivy mystery. I like how characters from the other book are in this one also.
Incredible new series. Enjoy the read, I certainly did!
The characters are so well developed, they feel like old friends. The plot is very satisfying and to watch. Yes, watch! The story unfolds before you. Just enjoy.
