I found one of my favorite authors in Jessica Ashley with this series. Tango was heartbreaking, gut-wrenching, emotionally charged. Tango has so much action and danger. There is so much heart and soil into this book, be ready with the tissues though! I promise you will be a blubbering mess. I could come up so many more words but I’ll leave you with this. Perfect series for someone who loves Christian military heroes with their service dogs.
Tango was a fast-paced novel with lots of action and twists and turns and that involves hackers. Tucker, a tech genius and one of the Hunt brothers, has to prove if Alice, who works for a security firm company, is guilty of or is being framed for murder and treason. Ashley crafts a well-written story with faith threads and suspense that will keep you on the edge of your seat. I received a complimentary copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
This story lets us into Tucker Hunt’s life. He seems more charming and teasing than the rest but it is a cover for the pain he carries every day over his twin, Dylan. He’s a great guy with a heart of gold, just like his brothers and parents.
Alice is on the run, hunted for crimes she didn’t commit. Tucker is her last hope as she tries to prove her innocence.
They face overwhelming danger and ultimate betrayal together and learn how much they need each other. Their love is forged in the fire. They balance each other well. The brotherhood of the Hunt team is always there, and we even see a sisterhood forming with their wives. Their family relationships are second only to God.
I enjoyed their story, even as my heart broke for both of them and the struggles they face. Their faith in God is refreshing. I’m looking forward to the next addition to the series, Delta. I received a complimentary copy from the publisher and these are my voluntary and honest opinions. I was not required to leave a positive review.
This book is beyond exciting! It’s full of twists and turns, some soul crushing. I couldn’t read it fast enough - now I’m sad I read it all! I think this is just one of those books you want to read over and over again, and you’ll find something you missed every time. Got to grab this one, it’s a must for your list of summer reads!
I've been waiting on Tucker's story in this great series.

I am a huge fan of Jessica‘s books. I’ve read every one so far and they are all fantastic and right up my romantic suspense, loving alley. The story of this one was twisty and turney with a literal jaw dropping moment for me. Excellent read!
I received a copy of this book from the author and also purchased my own audio copy. I was not required to post a positive review and all thoughts are my own.
WOW!!! Action, suspense, greed, or doing what is right -- ALL of these were present within this fast-paced book!! Author Jessica Ashley wrote the book, Tango, with skill. As I read the book, it seemed like she had painted a watercolor with each scene. After the nephew of a Security specialist, and colleague, went missing, Tucker Hunt took on the case to find honest answers. As he and Alice researched into the company she had worked and lived for, Tucker and his service dog,Tango, were the focus here alongside security specialist, Alice. As they dug in, it became obvious laws were being broken and lives were being destroyed. Yet, throughout everything, Tucker and Alice had became close as they sought a way to bring the truth to light. Ashley gently and securely intertwined faith, family, respect and love into a story where the battle was to be fought in our homeland. With their future held in the hands of Almighty God, they sought a way to right a wrong. My nerves were tightly held as I flipped each and every page. I definitely couldn't get enough of this high-action, couldn't put it down book!! Tango was extremely well-written, and a fun read. I give Tango 5 out of 5 stars!!
Jessica Ashley delivers another thrilling installment in the Hunt Brothers series with Tango, and wow—this one had me glued to the pages! It’s fast-paced, full of action, and packed with twists involving hackers, high-stakes technology, and dangerous betrayals. Definitely one of those “clear your schedule because you can’t put it down” reads.
Tucker “Tango” Hunt, a brilliant tech expert, is brought in by a security firm to track down an employee threatening to leak sensitive documents. He expects a simple mission—until he discovers Alice, a woman whose life has been turned upside down by choices she made in the name of doing good. When her idealism collides with dark secrets, she’s forced to run, and Tucker is faced with an impossible dilemma: bring her to justice or protect the woman who’s captured his heart.
Why I Loved It: • Nonstop Suspense: Hackers, dangerous secrets, and a constant sense of urgency keep the tension high. • Emotional Depth: Trust is fragile, love is risky, and every choice feels life-or-death. • Faith and Redemption: The story beautifully weaves themes of faith, forgiveness, and second chances into the action.
Tucker and Alice’s story is a pulse-pounding ride with heart, perfect for fans of romantic suspense and faith-filled thrillers. By the end, I was left both breathless and eager for the next Hunt Brothers adventure!
" I know that God can take tragedies and make something beautiful out of them, but i am struggling to see the beauty these days." " Then fight to see it." he tells me.
" Because you have him. The enemy attacks because he fears what's inside of you. He will break you down. Don't let him, fight Alice"
I have been blessed to receive a ARC copy of this book. When I tell you there is zero time wasted. The book from the first page is action packed.
Jessica Ashley has yet to disappoint with any of her books and Tango is just another example of her incredible ability to intertwine swoony heros and Gods love and power. What I love the most is neither the MMC and MWC are weak. This book took me on a rollercoaster. From my heart racing to my heart breaking. Smiles and tears.
When Alice finds herself in a position of being hunted by people that want her dead for what they think she knows, Tucker Hunt shows up. While battling his own demons and also his own feelings for Alice he knows he must save her before the time runs out and he loses her. With God at his back and his family at his side he will protect her at all costs. But does she return his feelings and is she actually the one behind everything?
What a ride! Here, we follow Tucker Hunt and Alice Sterling, both tech enthusiasts. Alice is framed for a crime she didn't commit and Tucker is hired to find her and look for answers. We also see a glimpse of Dylan, the youngest and Tucker's twin, which was crucial to the plot and the next book in the series.
I enjoyed the character development both Dylan's and Tucker's. I also loved Alice's and Dylan's bond! I hope to see this bond in his book as well.
We saw some previous FMC helping Alice adapt to changes and talking about their past and LOVE, which I adored! Then, there was this scene where Jules talked about her past and how she relates to Tucker's. First time reading a scene were MMC and his sister-in-law communicated and openly shared their thoughts and feelings. Couldn't have asked for more!!
Did not see PLOT TWIST coming!
Favorite quotes: "the enemy attacks because he fears what's inside of you" <-- i constantly need to remind myself this
This is a really sweet love story and I really enjoyed reading it. The love that Tucker and Alice have is a special love. I highly recommend this book -- "Tango" to you all and I know you are going to love it too.
Tucker "Tango" Hunt is a tech genius and he has a reputation for solving the toughest cases. A security firm has hired him to track down an employee that is threatening to leak sensitive documents. Tucker is determined to bring Alice to justice. But when he finds her and hears her side of the story everything changes. He can just tell that she can not be guilty of these crimes and is on her side to help her solve this mystery and clear her name. Alice has a strength and vulnerability that stirs something deep inside Tucker. So now they are determined to uncover the truth and battle the growing attraction of love between them.
One of my favorite quotes from this book is -- "Trust is fragile, love is risky, and faith is their only hope in a game where a single betrayal could cost everything".
I want to start by saying I received an ARC of this book. This is a Christian romantic suspense book and part of the Hunt Brothers Search and Rescue series. The main characters are Tucker “Tango” Hunt and Alice. Tucker is a tech genius who gets hired to find an employee of a company. When Tucker starts investigating he finds Alice and everything is not what it seems. Alice is on the run for crimes she didn’t commit. Can she talk Tucker into helping her prove she is innocent? Can they get justice? When danger comes can Tucker keep Alice safe? Will they find what they need before it’s too late? I loved Tucker and Alice together. There is something about a nerdy guy I love. Tucker and Alice were both amazing. The more time they spend together the more they fall in love. Will they live long enough to have a future together? God knows what will happen. We may not see or understand Gods plan but everything will work out. This book had the perfect amount of suspense and romance. I loved seeing Tucker’s family again. Overall, I loved this book and can’t wait to read the next one.
Tango is Tucker Hunt's awesome story. It's a bit of a different style to the other books in this series but just as well written. With the jovial "I've never been shot" Tucker and this contrast to Alice's intense focus, there is an opposites attract theme, and contrast.
Alice is a sweetheart and a survivor, her backstory is excellent and there were so many unexpected twists and turns. The cyber theme is very cleverly written into the mystery, while not becoming overwhelmingly nerdy or technical. Tango also perfectly set the stage for Delta, Dylan's story, which I cannot wait to read.
If you enjoy fast-paced, nonstop action, Christian romantic suspense, or stories by Susan May Warren, Lynette Eason or Lynn H. Blackburn then I'm sure you'll enjoy Tango.
I received a complimentary copy from the author, but I wasn't required to leave a review. This does not impact my thoughts or opinions on this novel.
What a beautifully written story. Tucker was smart, loving and willing to fight for Alice who was in the fight for her life and needed him by her side.
All of the brothers were there and their dogs and i loved that. The team spirit but not just that but the family support as well was always a sweet thing to read about.
Tucker and Alice had such a connection, based on faith but also commonalities like family and the danger she was facing. Although not a steamy book their chemistry and attraction was always there just not really acted upon. I also loved the spiritual basis of the book.
So well done. I have loved each book in the series but think this might be my favourite. Such a pleasure to read.
Tucker and Alice’s story is fast-paced, amazing, heartbreaking, and brings out all the feelings! Alice has had a rough past and once she was introduced to God and found her faith, she never wavered. Through all the bad, her constant is turning to God and it’s an incredibly inspirational journey to read. We’ve met Tucker is the other Hunt brother stories, but this can be read as a stand-alone. Faith, hope, love, tied in with a strong family – it’s all here and it brings Alice and Tucker through betrayal and evil deeds in the name of greed. Fantastic read and I highly recommend not only this story, but the entire series.
Series: Hunt Brother Search and Rescue, #4 Format: audiobook borrow (Everand) Narrators: Savannah Rivers and David Lee Garver Challenge Prompt: TBBS’s “a book from a foreign author” — author lives in the U.K.
Book #109 of 2025: Another good book in this series. It isn’t my favourite in the series but I still enjoyed it.
There is lots of suspense, great swoon, and familial love — as with the previous books. The female main character is the perfect match for Tucker. I appreciated learning more of the relationship Tucker has with his twin. I’m really looking forward to reading Dylan’s story.
I loved Tucker and Alice's story! I felt so bad for Alice, she endured so much heartbreak and just when she thought she was at the end of it, she was betrayed even more. I full-on sobbed happy tears at the end of this book! What an emotional ride. I loved the changing relationship between Alice and Tucker as well as Dylan's beginning stages of growth. Such an amazing story! Obsessed with this series! I am also a lifelong Alice in Wonderland lover so I geeked out over the references!
Romeo has been my favorite of the Hunt Brothers series so far, but I loved Tango almost equally as much. It’s always a wonderful reminder that God is everywhere all the time, in the joy and in the pain, in love and heartache. This book is a thrilling romance that will make your heart swoon in the sweetest of ways. Can’t wait to read Delta!
Loved this book. Love how the Brothers stand up for each other. This book had a great story line, wonderful characters, and lots of suspense. Didn't see the ending coming. Well written.
I did receive an advance ebook and I am voluntarily leaving my review.
Excellent!!!! Found myself right in the story, heart pounding, palms sweating, and yet not wanting to put it down. Thank you Jessica Ashley for getting GOD'S Word out there and giving us all great reads.
How can I shout well done from the top of my voice ooo. This book was perfect 👌, the writing, the storyline, the people, how he fell in love, what was stopping him, how he felt. Wow again I can't wait for the book 😍 😩 🤗 🙌.
Awesome, epic read. Great plot and characters, and a lot of suspense that was non-stop. There was a big shocker at one point that I so did not see coming. So glad I discovered this author.
I enjoyed that there were some different aspects of this book that were a little different from the other ones. Like not knowing if she was really innocent or not. There was a little more suspense in this one I think. I loved how the romance unfolded - so lovely! Also loved getting to know more about Dylan. Overall, it was just a really well-done quick read!
Wow. Jessica Ashley has a way of writing that makes me feel like I’m right there with the characters … heart racing, tears welling, faith stirred. Tango is amazing! The pacing is perfection, the emotions are raw, and the faith is woven in so naturally I couldn’t stop highlighting!
Alice’s whispered prayer: “Lord, be with me. Guide my steps …” echoed in my own heart as I read. And when her mom’s words came back to her, “When things get overwhelming, take them one step at a time. One step at a time. I can do that,” I found myself breathing those words too. Isn’t that the kind of reminder we need when life feels like too much?
I loved the way Alice was described by Jemma: “She follows God. Actually, she’s the one who got us to step further into our faith.” I can only pray my life could be spoken of in that way. And then Alice’s own reflection: “God blessed me with an aptitude for coding, and I’ve done everything I can to use those gifts to make Him proud … And worked hard to be a good steward of the time He’s granted me on this earth. Those words could’ve been written about my own surrendered heart, just in different areas. Not coding for me but the gifts He’s placed within me to serve others.
This book had it all: danger, betrayal, romance, authentic faith, and those moments that point me back to the Lord long after the last page is read as they settle in my heart as so much more than an entertaining read. Another five-star story that reminded me why Jessica Ashley is a clearly Christian author I’ll follow anywhere.
For readers who love romantic suspense that thrills the heart and deepens faith, Tango is a must-read.
I received a digital ARC from the author. I am not required to write a positive review nor paid to do so. This is my honest and unbiased review. My thoughts and opinions expressed in this book review are my own. My review focuses on the writing and the story’s content, ensuring transparency and reliability.
*I received an early ecopy from the author. This does not affect my review. This review is voluntary.*
There's so much I could say about this one, but also... Maybe I shouldn't. It's such a great story, but this is one of those that it's best to go in 'blind' or at least with as little knowledge as possible about what happens.
I don't often see stories with hackers as the main characters, and I honestly wasn't sure how I felt about that. I knew Tucker was one of the good guys, but the world he and Alice deal with isn't always so bright. I should have known that Jessica Ashley would turn the tropes on their head yet again. I loved it, and ironically, this is one of my favorites that I've read of hers to date! It didn't take long at all, and within only a few chapters, I was already giddy with excitement at the chance to dive back in! Not only that, but reading this one gave a better view into a different view of Dylan, and now I'm even more excited for his story too.
I've read several Christian romantic suspense books over the years, but Ashley's style and balance are why her stories are some of the best. I always know I'm in for a treat when picking up her books, and I adored all the twists and turns in this one. It actually kept me guessing until the end, and wow! I'll just say it's a doozy! Definitely a thrilling read with a good dose of action, suspense, and a sweet romance. I also love the Hunt family and always enjoy seeing them looking out for each other and those they care about. That might just be one of my top favorite things about this series; it just makes the whole package that much sweeter.
