"Indiana Jones meets The Matrix, wrapped in The Da Vinci Code. Speculative science and alternative history unite in a fun techno-thriller adventure." —ARC Review

Professor Tony Koviak thinks he knows the ancient world—until a CIA analyst on the run from her own agency crashes into his life with classified research proving humanity’s history is a lie.

She needs his help decoding Tesla’s cryptic final invention—a revolutionary discovery the genius perfected during a decade of self-imposed isolation.

Teaming up with a maverick geophysicist, they race to decipher Tesla’s mind-bending technology and unravel a conspiracy stretching back to the last Ice Age. With time running out, they journey from the streets of New York to ancient sites across the globe, piecing together clues that link Tesla’s masterpiece to remote prehistory. But they’ll have to stay one step ahead of intelligence agencies, hostile governments, and a hidden cabal guiding humanity’s fate—one hell-bent on keeping us in the dark about our true past.

History isn’t just written by the winners—it’s erased by them.
But Nikola Tesla has left behind an unthinkable way to fight back.

Our history is a big fat lie, I know it and you know it and you know that I know and I know that you know, but more importantly THEEEY KNOW that we know!!!!!

I love this book, it feels like it was written just for me, 10/10, would smash, when’s the Michael bay movie coming out starring Nicholas Cage?

A few years back I saw an article about this guy named Graham Hancock, who had a Netflix documentary series coming out called ancient apocalypse. The archeological community was having fucking kittens over the fact that this guy was getting a tv deal and everyone regarded them as smelly, unfuckable nerds. They launched a no holds barred smear campaign against him, even calling him dangerous.
Of course I had to see it. Basically, the concept of show is that civilization is not only older than we’ve been taught, but more advanced than our oldest civilizations. He hypothesized that that civilization was wiped out by a deluge and everything started over.
That’s also the premise of this book, combined with some wilder ideas like the pyramids were built by atlanteans and used as wireless power plants.

Guess who fucking knew it all along and was on the brink of replicating that technology….

That’s right, it’s ya boy Nicola Tesla. Guess who wasn’t too happy about wireless free energy for all…. That’s right the powers that be!

None of this is spoiler territory, it’s pretty much all established through exposition in the opening chapters. The bulk of the page count is spent on a globe trotting race to find multiple maguffins and solve clues while evading the agents of a shadowy organization bent on keeping the truth hidden.

The author must be as big a nut as I am about all this ancient civilization stuff because he packs in pretty much every conspiracy theory I’ve read about in the last few years.

It’s not the best thing ever written and puts snarky humour in the place of character development but if you are into this kind of stuff and can suspend your disbelief for a bombastic B movie of a book, read this.

I loved this and came upon it by chance in a reddit. It's a wonderful mix of science, alternative archaeological theories, mixed in with a bit of action. It's fast paced, and really taps into alternative civilisation theories popularised by the likes of Graham Hancock. If you like your ancient history with a side of conspiracy then this has it all. Absolute page turner, couldn't put it down.

4.5 stars. Tesla and the Pyramids is certainly a thought-provoking and an informative novel that covers some of Nicoli Tesla’s accomplishments. It also touches on information about a variety of ancient sites and scientific speculations regarding earth’s pre-history. To me, that was the best part of this story, and which captured my interest throughout. The author brought up some intriguing “scientific” bits that, if true, change the whole understanding of planet earth. Some of this “science” info has appeared in internet / Google news recently.

The only critique was that the dialogue between some characters seemed a little disjointed, at times. There would be focused / intelligent scientific, archeological, and academic discussion, but then the interpersonal conversation seemed to be akin to the gummy-bear commercial where adults act and sound like children.

(Full Spoilers) Like many, I’m here due to the “soft disclosure” talk surrounding this book. Conspiracy theories are fun!

THE GOOD

Polyhedronic Pearls: The main appeal of this book lies in the interesting factoids spread all throughout the story. Mostly about the pyramids, Atlantis, and Nicola Tesla of course. I was most interested in the pyramid facts, the majority of which I’d never heard of before, and some were pretty jaw dropping.

Terminal Through-line: Scuttlebutt from the wackier corners of Reddit is that this book is a soft disclosure of a bunch of apocalyptic facts, as a means of warming us up to the idea that we are all seriously screwed. Turns out we’ll all die in the 2040’s due to the magnetic reversal of the poles. I'm with George Carlin on this one: the human species appears to be heading towards extinction due to stupidity anyway, so maybe we could use a do-over? Unfortunately the species-wide reset doesn't look too promising either. The billionaires, all busy building doomsday bunkers as if they know something we don’t, will be the only ones that survive. So the starter culture for the next reboot of humanity will be from the absolute worst of us. Nepo Babies, Silicon Valley Bros, soulless CEO's, and politicians as the starter dough for the next batch of humanity? We're probably better off extinct.

With all that said though, the plot weaving all these facts into a cohesive story is either an impressive leap of imagination (if this fiction is based on concealed facts) or depressing as hell if it’s really true. Either way, it all fits together into a cohesive whole, at least for the purposes of a SciFi thriller. So kudos to the author and/or Sci Op agency who pulled this off.

THE BAD

The Whole Plot is Plot Holes: The plot holes are legion. They start early, are sprinkled liberally throughout, and were distracting for me.

Besides the very resilient plot armor provided for each character, the group is also somehow always able to access extremely high security areas effortlessly. Oh, and let’s not forget magical hacker powers whenever the plot requires. That’s just the tip of the iceberg. I could literally critique nearly every scene, but where’s the fun in that?

If you have trouble suspending disbelief, this is not the book for you. If you just go with the flow, you’ll have a lot more fun.

Who Are These People? I’m not sure if this is a hallmark of the Thriller genre, which I have little experience with, but the character work in this book is extremely simplistic. There are two main characters - er, I mean THREE main characters, sorry, I kept forgetting at points that there were actually three because the two male main characters are pretty interchangeable.

And the female character? Well, she’s female, she can shoot a gun really well when the plot requires it, and she’s apparently somewhat psychic? Besides that she really has no memorable personality traits.

Epiphany Exhaustion: An excellent drinking game would be to take a shot every time one of the characters has a mind blowing epiphany. Unfortunately, many feel unearned. So many of the mind blowing revelations are really ideas that they should have already thought of if they are truly experts in their fields, as they are purported to be.

And speaking of that, are these guys the only smart scientists on the planet? Because some of their brilliant discoveries seem pretty obvious, from my non-expert standpoint. I mean, the FBI, CIA, Illuminati, Vatican, Girls Scouts, and the PTA have all been searching for Tesla’s notebook for 80 years and no one thought to look in the walls of the apartment that Tesla never left for the last fifteen years of his life??

How can these characters be the only people that have figured these clues out? I mean, I get it, the author needs the epiphany moments as an excuse for a bunch of exposition, but it happens so often that it gets cheesy after a while.

Cyber Truck Suck-Up: The only real thing that gave me a bit of the creeps was all the fawning the characters did over Tesla’s Cyber Truck aka The Apartheid Ride. It was so overt that it began to feel like a commercial for Tesla. I mean, did Musk payroll this book?

THE UGLY

Disclosure Depression: Spoiler alert! The fact that the entire human population is going to be wiped out in the 2040’s is not “fixed” by the end of the book. But we all get free magic wireless electricity for the last few years before the mass extinction event, so… yay?

On the upside, I'm pretty sure all that wireless electricity would have kick started the apocalypse a bit early anyway. Our electric grids wouldn't be compatible with wireless electricity. Without getting too technical, I'm pretty sure all of it would melt down, but not before literally burning down every building on the planet with electrical wiring. Everyone stock up on fire extinguishers and s’mores!

THE VERDICT

If you’re reading the book for the really cool facts about Tesla and pyramids, and don’t care if the story is the best, then you’ll enjoy this. If you are just here for a fun thriller, and can switch off your brain, you’ll have fun with this. If you are bothered by plot holes and lack of character development, this may not be for you.

This sort of reads like a screenplay, and honestly, tightening up the story, fixing the dialogue, and casting three charismatic actors in the lead rolls could fix a lot of the issues this story has. It would make a good DaVinci Code kind of thriller, so chop chop! Tom Hanks ain’t getting any younger!

I’d watch that movie.

Absolutely electric (pun intended). I literally could not but this book down until it was finished. One of the most enjoyable reading experiences I’ve ever had.

Tesla and the Pyramid is pure, high-octane fun. Imagine Indiana Jones meets Robert Langdon meets AJ from The Why Files... then toss in Graham Hancock’s style ancient mysteries, antediluvian civilizations, false flags, elite secret societies, transhumanist AI integration and lost Tesla tech...

...and somehow it all works.

Sure, there are a few rough edges in the writing and some clunky bits of dialogue here and there, but I don't care? The pace, the imagination, and the sheer scope of this book more than make up for it. It’s been a long time since a story made me stay up late just to see what wild revelation came next.

Jenner Brown manages to fuse ancient myth, modern conspiracy, and speculative science into something that feels both thrilling and weirdly plausible. It’s that rare read that makes you think, “What if just one of these ideas were real?”

If you love hidden history, globe-trotting adventure, and stories that dare to connect everything — this one’s for you.

This book is a total thrill ride. Think National Treasure, Indiana Jones, Tomb Raider, and The Da Vinci Code all smashed together with a heavy dose of Nikola Tesla–style science.

The story is fast, twisty, and completely unpredictable. It kept my attention the whole time and never slowed down. The banter is sharp and quippy, which makes the adventure even more fun.

I listened to the audiobook, narrated by Ryan Haugen, and really enjoyed his performance. He gave me strong Ray Porter vibes, especially that energetic, engaging delivery.

If you love high-stakes adventure, wild science, ancient mysteries, and you’re happy to fully suspend disbelief, this book is a blast. ⚡📚

Really enjoyed it. I knew a little about Tesla & less about physics, but I did really enjoy it. Not often a book has me scribbling things down to look up so I can understand it better.
The blend of science fiction, physics, mythology, cosmology & archeology is fascinating, & their melding made sense. Plus I've always loved tye Atlantic myth & have several novels on it. I enjoy a book that challenges me ( even fiction) to think differently & expands my horizons.
Well done story & I look foward to more by this author.
Cons: the style is good, but the storyline could be tightened up. Some extraneous details & descriptors, but not unusual for a first time author. I expect this will improve over time & I really enjoyed the story. I just ordered a hard copy so I can highlight what I want to look ip & explain in the back. ;)

It was better written than people who have 6 books out, even better written than most fiction books. I suspect this book has truth mixed into it- because some of the facts about the pyramid for example having 8 sides was true. Also about the dimensions and being the same as the speed of light. That was also true. I enjoyed this book the most out of everything I’ve read- it was like the movie national treasure. I liked it a bit more. It doesn’t waste your time as a reader. There’s no unnecessary dialogue. Everything moves forward!!! Finally a good piece of literature!!!!! I love this author already. Amazing work. Please publish more !!!!

One of the best books I've read this year. it has all my special interests...alchemy, the Akashic records, and the Anunnaki. I even learned new words like antediluvian and piezoelectric.

Hopeful that we'll get a second book from Jenner Brown soon!

Interesting way to tie together history and myth, but the dialog between characters and wise cracks from the narrator were too corny and made the story and characters feel cartoonish.

Stellar Modern Myth Weaving!

In terms of a modern speculative fiction piece, this work rocks! It weaves strands of history, mythology, archeology, technology, realpolitic, and conspiracy theory into a fun, fast-paced and seemingly plausible adventure! I truly enjoyed this! Cudos!

I really enjoyed this book that took me for quite a mind-bending ride challenging things I've thought that I've known about our past and present. Nicola Tesla truly was a genius way ahead of his time with his discoveries long hidden from the general public. I do hope I won't have to encounter the Metatron or Demiurge from Jenner Brown's imagination as they are both depicted as more benevolent beings than he has them! I also hope the polar flip is just a theory and not something that we'll be dealing with in my lifetime...

Overall this was a fantastic journey that has led to much discussion in my household. I feel more informed from reading it and it has inspired further research on the history and science described. Definitely will be looking for more from this author. If he is not silenced. Or if he is even a human...

If your interested in a conspiracy dating back before the last ice age, or pyramids, Atlantis, Nickola Tesla, ancient mysteries, CIA goons, free energy, sacred geometry, weird cults, and much more, then READ THIS, you'll thank me for suggesting it.

I couldn’t put this story down

Riviting from beginning to end. I hope the end isn’t nigh come 2040 and this every 12,000 year pole shift is just a fiction. I might buy some canned goods just in case though…

Excellent

A very good read. Quirky, eclectic, Interesting wording / conversations, hits all the right notes and conspiracy theories you can think of. Good characters, who develop and get more interesting as the story progresses. Like to see a sequel. Not for everyone, requires major suspension of belief, but a fun read.

History is a lie

Real fun story. Nonstop action abounds. Despite numerous failures a heroic and resourceful trio doesn't stop trying. They meet fascinating characters along their way as they try to save the world using Tesla's science derived from ancient myths.

Quite an overlap with some of the strangest occurrences in our world today. History repeats itself doesn't even begin to explain the goosebumps this gave me.

Stunning!

At first I thought I had bitten off more than I can chew. As the story unfolded, the narrator made it unnecessary to actually BE a physicist by dumbing down a lot of the technical aspects. What a gripping story! I wasn't ready for it to end.

I enjoyed this in spite of the not-so-great writing. It reads like a YA intro to all of the conspiracies regarding what's listed in the title. As a reader who "Wants to Believe," this was a lot of fun. I have (and continue to) follow these ideas, and it tickles all of my interests in the topics. Not great, but still a recommendation if you're into this sort of thing.

2.5 stars. I listened to this fully on audio. This book has interesting ideas. It is not well written. The characters are one dimensional vehicles to dispense the complex conspiracy theories that are the backbone of this book. So much of the technical details and theories lost me. The dialogue was cheesy. But I could see some of the crazy conspiracies having a kernel of truth and that much kept me going.

One of the worst books I've read. Shallow, quippy writing with frequent eye-roll inducing moments, and the action scenes are dreadfully boring. Definitely feels like it was written using AI by someone who has basic cursory knowledge gathered from conspiracy subreddits and wikipedia trying to name-drop as many things as possible.

This book is an interesting look into some alternative history conspiracies rendered up as an action adventure. You can kind of tell it is a new author as some of the pacing and storytelling is not as refined as some other things I have read. But it's a solid effort overall, and the information presented is fun and something most people may not be familiar with.

I marked this as spoiler because there's one scene I have to discuss which is definitely one of the reasons why I don't give this five stars. Most of the stuff is described in a somewhat believable manner... or at least plausible. Except for one scene where they are exploring some supposedly sealed underground archaeological ruin. And they have to break through a solid Stone door to get to a corridor beyond. Once they do this, they are greeted by the corridor completely filled with spiders crawling all over the walls and ceiling. There is absolutely no plausible explanation why all these spiders would be there or what they would be eating since the area beyond it is simply an empty granite room. I consider this a relatively low point in the storytelling because why would this many insects be hanging out in this area with no other access to anything, and no natural prey??? They do not mention any airflow or natural caves or water or anything that would explain the presence of all of these spiders. Honestly if they just deleted that whole spiders part from the book it would be better off.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.

I was disappointed by the ‘pulp fiction’ style of writing, a bit like Enid Blyton writes an Indiana jones adventure. I did find it dealt with a fair bit of the Tesla writings with some aplomb but there was just too much crud in there. C’mon the speed of light is 299,792 m/s despite latitude being an invention of the 18th century and 0 being down to the people who claimed it - Greenwich, UK when extrapolating this to a matching lay (with the same longitude) I end up 30 minutes away on the opposite side of the Nile outside new Cairo.
So, not my bag, sorry. It does have the potential to make a great film though. Metatron would be brilliant!!!

It was a binge worthy read and worth a few hours of lost sleep. The chapters are laid out in a way where you MUST see what happens next in the story. Jenner Brown blends science, speculative history, and a sprinkle of humorous dialogue that makes you feel like you are participating in the story itself. I also found myself researching many elements within the book to brush up on mythology , ancient civilizations, and the legend of Tesla. This book could lead you down the rabbit hole and you will find yourself making a tin foil hat if you aren’t careful! 🤣 A very entertaining read that I hope becomes a series .

It's hard to write a review for this because the wisecracking dialogue is dreadful, the characters are one dimensional and the plot is absurd. It's been claimed by some that it's AI written and has been released for beta testing about possible imminent disclosures / limited reveals concerning a number of conspiracies. Since nothing is known about the author or the publishing house that's quite plausible, but, despite all these misgivings, and it's a very big but, it throws in lots of interesting and compelling detail, some of which is pretty alarming and it's that alone which makes it worth reading

Reads like a Hollywood blockbuster featuring Ryan Reynolds as a wise-cracking archeologist, or somesuch, battling against evil forces that are only really dangerous to npc's. So if that's your thing.
Love the Alt Science bits and weird history. Would like to see more actual research and maybe this will get the masses horny for some.
