This book was a cute fast story. It was very fast-paced and a very lighthearted read that was perfect for a break in between a very long book. Liam and Brooke met in a very funny way that neither of them was expecting. Fast-forward to a couple hours later, they bump into each other again. Brooke becomes Liam’s assistant in the OR. As tensions rise between these two they begin to give into their attraction. As a few bumps along the road come along they both have to ask themselves if loving each other is enough and worth the risk. I liked how fast-paced the story was and how there was no long dragging out, it got straight to the point and it was steamy and funny a very cute and lighthearted read.

The title character in Doctor Grumpy Single Daddy is Liam Hunter, a billionaire surgeon in Pine Haven, a small town in Missouri. Tired after a 20-hour shift, he takes a coffee that wasn’t claimed after three calls. The coffee belonged to Brooke, and she wasn’t happy. She has an unpleasant encounter with Liam about it. Brooke is a 26-year-old unemployed surgical assistant that lost her job due to a mistake she made during surgery. Now she has moved back home to Pine Haven and in with her parents. Brooke’s long-time friend Kelsey helps her get a job with a surgical group at Pine View Hospital. The surgeon is Dr. Hunter (Liam). Sparks fly between them!

The story is an emotional journey for the MCs as they both have some self-discovery to do individually and as a couple. There is lots of angst, miscommunication, with some drama, humor, spice, and big feelings thrown in. There are also some delightful supporting characters, with Liam’s 5-year-old daughter Suzie and Brook’s friend Kelsey being my favorites. The title of the book is cleverly woven into the story. Overall, this was a wonderful book that was enjoyable to read, and I definitely recommend this book.

Hot and spicy fun!!
Loved how easy this was to get into, Liam Hunter may be a grumpy surgeon but he won me over with his desire for Brooke and his beautiful love for Suzie his daughter.
Brooke leaves Chicago under a cloud back to her home town. An innocent visit to her local coffee shop has her bumping to a good looking man who stole her coffee, not the best first impression.
Liam is a Orthopaedic Surgeon, in desperate need of a new Surgical Assistant. Who comes in his office for the interview but Brooke, the girl he stole the coffee from.
I loved their first meeting and the story after this, I don't want to give anymore spoilers but I loved it and have since downloaded all her other books!

HOT 🥵 HOT 🔥Dr. Romance read that is going to make your panties wet when you read the sex scenes. OMG Dr. Liam Hunter sounds like a fine specimen if you ask me. You will be having HOT FLASHES and DREAMS about him. Brooke and Liam’s bantering back and forth is hilarious at times. I did wipe a tear or two away over Liam’s personal situations. I don’t want to disclose what that is so I ruin a FREAKING AWESOME book.
I will say that this book is going to take off for Lexi and become a BEST SELLER for her. I can picture the orange banner already. So, STOP everything and get this medical romance book and let Liam and Brooke make your pulse rate jump sky high.
Also, you should try the coffee Liam and Brooke drink. It’s not bad. I tried it from our local coffee shop. 😊

The book was a little slow for me. I understand why Dr Liam and his five year old daughter Suzie moved to this smaller town. He's a really good orthopedic surgeon and had long hours, which I felt that he could have adjusted, so he could have more time with his daughter, but I didn't feel it was a good idea for him to do there evening meals at 8:00 pm. Too late for her age, so unrealistic to me.

Brooke came back home because of an instance that happened in Chicago. She became the doctor's surgical assistant when his current one was leaving.

The sparks between them flew pretty quickly.

I feel like the book could do with quite a few adjustments and make the story more interesting.

I always enjoy a good anti meet cute romance, and seeing the mighty fall

A stolen coffee order leads to an angry woman, Brooke, chasing down a big man, Liam, who refuses to return said coffee. When Liam eventually returns the coffee, after licking the entire rim, Brooke spitefully pours it out.

The second meeting is in Liam’s office when Brooke shows up for an interview.

There is plenty of steam in this story. As the reader, you are rooting for
Brooke and Liam to finally figure out it’s more than s€x. And when they do, they get their happy ending.

Brooke and Liam's first encounter weren't a great one so imagine her surprise when she enters the hospital for an interview and learns it is with her coffee thief. This delightful medical romance had me tuned into this couple and their banter. It is well written and had me connecting with the characters as I cheered them on to finding their path to happiness.

I would recommend this book to people who like spicy forbidden romance novellas. I do like single parent stories, but I think I prefer longer stories where there can be a little more complexity to the story. I don't mind forbidden romance or workplace romance or enemies to lovers stories, but the combination here made it feel like the focus was on the spicy scenes rather than the relationship.

Good sweet story of love and struggle of love. I really liked the characters. They were strong and with everyday insecurities and tragedies of life. The story flows really well and I liked the writing style.

Absolutely delightful story! I loved the characters. Liam and Brooke give each other strength and confidence, unconditional love, and happiness. Their banter is funny and hot. Their alone time is even hotter. Liam’s daughter, Suzie, is a gentle, loving soul, and her relationship with her dad is heartwarming. Easy read and really well written. Loved it ❤️

I really enjoyed reading this book. It was hard to put it down. The chemistry between Liam and Brooke was there from the moment she chased him down and called him "Coffee thief." The steamy scenes were hot, and the epilogue was great. I love this book ❤️

Love the book, short enough to be read in a couple of hours. I love Brooke calling Liam out for stealing her coffee. Then it is a shock for her to see him again for a job she needed. Loved how Susie really liked Brooke. Would love to have this book in audio. Great author will read more from her.
